Campground Reviews

The staff were friendly and helpful. The check in process was a breeze. The site and restrooms were clean and used as expected.

We stayed as a quick overnight stop so only used the shower facilities. Didn’t feel entirely safe S we were right in the city and it was not gates. Very loud due to road and construction next door.

Easy in and out - big rig friendly. Lots of mature trees provide wonderful shade along the flat and level campsites. Lots to do and see in the area. I had a great stay.

Great location for seeing SLC. Light rail station in front of the campground. Very helpful staff, nice level and clean site.

Appreciate the paved roads. So tired of the dirt in some RV parks! Very large well maintained park.

Easy access, polite and friendly staff, shaded, clean. Really nice.

we would not stay here again. there was dog poop everywhere and the area around many of the sites and on the roads was not very clean. i understand people are careless but shouldn't the staff be cleaning up after the guests who are too entitled to do it themselves?

Very loud for tent camping, location for tents is right by a busy road full of of homeless people and dudes in Hondas pretending they’re in fast and furious. Also not clean

Nice park, but lacks places to walk your dog. Has rug in dog park, my dog needs dirt to potty on. I would say about 95 percent of RV owners have a dog.

The only thing I didn’t like was the Lime scooters. Some kids were totally crazy on them and I felt they were putting people and dogs in danger. They loved scaring people. I heard various guests talking about them. Other than that, I loved everything about it. You can tell it’s a crazy, busy place but it never feels that way. Well planned park. Staff was accommodating. I want to go back

Ok bien situé propre

Like the park. But the two days that we stayed there, there seemed that the truck with the paper products needed in the rest rooms never showed up. Two days no toilet paper or paper towels for drying your hands. Even after I phoned the office and made them of aware of not having any paper in the restrooms nothing made no difference.

Only one recommendation, level the ground at site #11. overall it was great there, thanks.

Camp was very nice, clean and well kept. The only negative is that it is very close to a lot of the "unhomed" and backs up to 2 very busy roads. Other than that, good place to stay.

Short and sweet. Lots of shade

The office went out of their way to a coma date our last minute needs. We reserved a pull thru. But with our bikes on the back of our TT we were too long to fit for overnight stay. We called the office and said no problem and reassigned us a longer pull thru at no additional cost. Very clean bathrooms. Highly recommend stay at Salt Lake KOA*****

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for the recommendation. Safe Travels.

Quieter than I expected. Everybody seemed to be having a good time using a lot of the amenities. People were nice. Nicely stocked store.

Very nice, clean campground. Love the big trees and convenience to the freeway. . Thursday night was a little noisy with construction across the street. But other than that, it was perfect.

Our stay started with a large pile of Dog Vomit on the patio of our assigned site. The staff was exceptional at finding us a new site. Better but there was trash, used duct tape, paper and some dried up dog poo. I cleaned it up and stayed in the site. For what we paid, the location is terrific but the facilities are tired. A little TLC would go a long way.

Park was nice but construction next door made it difficult to sleep as they started pouring concrete about 3am. Park was clean and staff were friendly

Great RV site and amenities. Very much enjoyed and appreciated the arcade with free video games. Loved the complimentary pancake breakfast. The dryers at 7 minutes for .25 cents was too short of a time. Please make them longer and price accordingly.

The cabin we stayed in had dead bugs on the window sills and floors, the shower didn’t warm up unless the water in the sink was running. The wood around the bathroom sink was covered in toothpaste splatter. The pull out couch was SO uncomfortable and when we pulled it out we had to dust off dirt/dead bugs. There was a Christmas greeting on the deck- in August.

There was night construction right outside the tent area that the koa staff did not advise us of. We were not able to get any sleep.

Very nice, clean had all the amenities

This is a nicely kept park with a high tree canopy that shades most rvs. And it is right in the downtown area. The Wi-Fi is poor. Plus ATT cell service for data is poor at the park and many areas of the city.

Clean park nice grass areas at every site. The park was great but I have dogs and I would go to another Koa that is not in a major city. Too many sites and a lot of dogs. No fault of the Koa.

The showed were so disappointing. It’s the only reason we stopped so the family could take showers. There was no water pressure and either hot or cold water not warm. $100 for one night. Not worth it.

Hyper bruyant.

Beautiful campground, nice people and amenities. Need to work on the WIFI.

Convenient to Salt Lake City. Had all of the amenities that one could want from a KOA. Had a well stocked store with free pancakes and coffee (pancakes were really good). Cable was good, and where we parked had some shade from the unusually warm days we spent there. Close to trains and lots of horns blaring at all hours. But that was a small distraction to a good park,

The campsite was an end unit, barely fit our 34’ travel trailer in it. There was dog poop all over the grassy area next to our patio. Tried to use the showers, dirty and didn't drain! The faucet for the showers messed up! You either had cold water or really hot water. The staff wasn’t friendly and there were people walking around the campsites like they were casing! Too expensive for what you

The park is beautiful. I love the mature shade trees trimmed high. The place is clean and the stare friendly.

Screaming People in the middle of night. Loud mufflers 0ast middnightl. Staff were good though.
Aug 02, 2023
Lots of empty sites and we were given one right on the road by the car wash. Didn’t enjoy that at all.

It was a very nice campground! Nice shade trees and beautiful pool! We really enjoyed our stay there.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Facility was clean. Definitely had city noise so that was annoying in our tent. Probably wouldn’t notice in an RV or trailer. It was centrally located near many restaurants and places downtown. Would stay there again.

Great location. $5 all day Trax ticket will get you downtown in four green line stops ro Temple Square and City Center mall. Tent camping spot had ample shade from the 100 degree heat, Facilities were all serviceable. Camp store had plenty of necessary supplies.

Very nice and clean campground. It is in a sketchy part of Salt Lake but we felt safe.

• Staff are excellent. • Site was level. • Good cable TV. • Showers are clean and decent water pressure, no shortage of hot water. • WIFI is great, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV. • They have propane on site. • 2 carwashes on the property, 1 is 11' clearance, the other 13' clearance and long enough for most RV's. • BBQ and Pizza restaurants on the property. • Great laundry room, plus another laundromat on the property. • Only 1 negative and that is the outlying neighborhood, but the KOA and VIP parks have 24 hour security. • I would stay here again.

Best campground ever. We have stayed here 3 times. What I love most is that you can fly in to SLC and take the light rail 2 stops from the airport. The KOA is literally across the street. We meet my mother here who has an RV. We go skiing at Alta without having to rent a car or drive a RV on a mountain road. You can take the light rail to a park and ride and then take a bus up to the resort. Incredibly convenient and safe. The campground staff obviously takes great pride in their place. Bathrooms are clean and modern, there are many activities for kids (basketball, and other outdoor games, game room, swimming pool, calm roads for riding bikes). Gas fire pits for gathering around in the evening. Free coffee and pancakes. Quiet campsites. I hope the family never gives up its property here in the city. Wish more cities had something like this for travelers.
