Very large and nice campground. Friendly and knowledgeable staff

We only stayed one evening and had a nice site with full hook ups. We were just turned off by all of the homeless close to the KOA. We also didn't realize that the KOA had many more full time residents than true campers.

Close to the city, many possibilities for children. We liked the pool and hot-tube. Only the noise during the night from the neighborhood (the build a house) was disturbing.

Lovely park with lots of trees. Pizza delivery was a bonus. However the car wash next to the park was great for washing our motor home.

I stay here often. It’s a well-located good campground. Trees provide shade during the summer. Winters are less crowded. If you’re looking to be close to downtown SLC, this is a great option. It’s also a short drive to the ski resorts. My only complaint from my most recent stay in August was the landscaping crew using the leaf blower to blow trash and leaves onto our spot.

little pricy

Staff was very friendly but the feel of the campground and the surroundings just did not impress. Great public transport though.

This KOA is our home base for exploring the west. We have returned several times. Campsites are level, close but not suffocating. Not scenic but extremely convenient to interstates, and trolley outside the door transports to airport, downtown and beyond. Pool, barbecue, clean facilities. Capable staff. Receives mail. Only negative: laundry opens at 9 am. Quick wash before leaving, not possible.

This was my 4th time staying there while visiting family and I always enjoy it.

Very nice staff, was raining and the trees were helpful

So far the cleanest bathroom and showers that I've seen throughout the past three and a half weeks of staying at KOA's on our vacation. Nice way to end vacation on the last night in our RV. It's just too bad we didn't have longer to stay there and actually enjoy some of the other amenities that I'd noticed. Perhaps next time. But enjoyed the stay and very well kept property.

We were there for an overnight stay. What we did see was nice! Lots of trees and shade. Place was busy with lots of families. Our site was paved and long enough so we didn’t have to unhook the tow. No problem leveling. It was nice walking the dogs around the park. Place seems tight but no problem maneuvering our 39’ class A with a tow. Overall nice KOA!

We got to the KOA 15 min before they closed. We had to find our campsite, it was dark ,no lights. We couldn't see the #. We were setting up we notice there were bugs, thought it was Beatles, a neighbor was walking by. He look at it , it was roaches running around on the ground. Mosquitoes allover. Early hours people driving fast, playing music very loud. Construction site across the street.

We booked 8-nights at this location. Staff is friendly and the park is very quiet. Lots of things to do—swimming pool, hot tub, playground, cornhole, and a pavilion with several tables, grills, and a sink. All-in-all a pleasant stay. But BE WARNED!! They charge $20 PER NIGHT for securing a particular site. I have a call in to corporate who says this is “curious” & will get back to me.

The employees were awesome. Very welcoming when we checked in and tried to help us get in our brand new fifth wheel with their master keys. Dealer locked doors with master, new keys did not work in door.

There is a balance between cost, convenience to downtown Salt Lake City, environmental noise, friendly efficiencies of staff, clean grounds and acceptable restrooms. Our site was along the road, buses and construction noise was bothersome. Yet, staff and the grounds were very good. The light rail to downtown is right across the street. The only negative is the noise.

Convenient location, friendly courteous staff. Best shaded sites I may have ever camped at and definitely the best showers I’ve used at any campground. Everything you need close. Would stay again if in the area.

We really like the spot we #902 the only thing I would say is please check the sites for dog poop I have to pick up 4 piles and we did not have dogs with us. The pool was great and the arcade was fun for our grandkids. We will be back again

Enjoyed and convenient to access to highways. Not the best part of town but never felt unsafe inside the park. The sites had some trash on them when vacated. Ours had a condom on the ground and the one next to us vacant had a dirty diaper. Not very appealing!

We stay at this KOA when visiting relatives in the area. It is conveniently located, clean and well run.

I was very disappointed that I could not have a campfire at my tent site.

We are return customers and very much value all of the shaded spots.

camp ground was decent and the staff was very friendly. spaces are pretty close together but it did have good shade trees. the area around is a little sketchy but what you would expect for an RV park right in the city. close to downtown and temple square and the great salt lake. it does a a lot of amenities and stuff for families.

i was put in a space that was too small. my front end pertruded into the street. we were not able to access our bikes on the rear of the rv. It is a class c 22 foot. After trying to park with the help of the host, bwe went to office fir a bigger spot, snd was told to move to a similar spot that was also too small. there were plenty of larger spots available but were denied. i left at 6 am

This KOA is in a sketchy part of town, there was LOUD construction noise all night, and the park is in need of repairs and upgrades. Even tho construction is temporary, we won’t risk a chance things improve and stay again.

We stayed for one night and did not have the opportunity to walk around or interact with anyone. We didn’t use any of the amenities. What I know is that our site was nice, roomy enough for our 36’ travel trailer, we had a full hook-up site and everything was in working order. Should we visit Salt Lake City in the future, I would certainly stay again.

A little pricey for our budget. It did have a lot to offer campers, but was geared for kids. We will skip it the next time we go through Salt Lake. Keep in mind this is written by a 66 year old. Staff were very friendly and saw they helped new campers with their set up.

• Staff are excellent. • Site was level. • Good cable TV. • Showers are clean and decent water pressure, no shortage of hot water. • WIFI is great, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV. • They have propane on site. • 2 carwashes on the property, 1 is 11' clearance, the other 13' clearance and long enough for most RV's. • BBQ and Pizza restaurants on the property. • Great laundry room, plus another laundromat on the property. • Only 1 negative and that is the outlying neighborhood, but the KOA and VIP parks have 24 hour security. • I would stay here again.

Best campground ever. We have stayed here 3 times. What I love most is that you can fly in to SLC and take the light rail 2 stops from the airport. The KOA is literally across the street. We meet my mother here who has an RV. We go skiing at Alta without having to rent a car or drive a RV on a mountain road. You can take the light rail to a park and ride and then take a bus up to the resort. Incredibly convenient and safe. The campground staff obviously takes great pride in their place. Bathrooms are clean and modern, there are many activities for kids (basketball, and other outdoor games, game room, swimming pool, calm roads for riding bikes). Gas fire pits for gathering around in the evening. Free coffee and pancakes. Quiet campsites. I hope the family never gives up its property here in the city. Wish more cities had something like this for travelers.
