Late Arrivals: There will be an Envelope with your last name and site number at the night registration area outside of office. Inside the envelope will be a map to your site and everything you might need for your stay. If you have reserved a cabin, the keys to your cabin will be in your cabin. Please come to the office before 10:00 am the following day to register. If you have not come to register by 10:00 am the following day, we will register you, and charge any remaining balance to the credit card on file, and send your receipt to the email provided when registering. The WiFi codes and restroom codes will be sent via email or VM. For security reasons, we no longer leave them in envelopes at night. Late check-ins without a paid reservation will have to call posted after-hours number to get codes.

Welcome to the Salinas/Monterey KOA. We have the lowest prices in the area. We are only 7 miles from the coast, making us a great base camp for exploring the Monterey Peninsula area and all the attractions.
Nobel Prize-winning author, John Steinbeck, captured the beauty of the Monterey Coast and its beach side and inland communities in his landmark books. Visitors can enjoy an easy 20-minute drive to Monterey. Visit Carmel and take the 17-mile drive at Pebble Beach or spend the day at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. This KOA is close to local wineries, where wine tasting is the jewel of Monterey County.
Stay in one of our Deluxe Cabins, with all the amenities and comfort of a hotel room. One vehicle per cabin, however, we have overflow parking not far away.
We do have age restrictions on RVs (MUST BE IN GOOD CONDITION PLEASE). No tarps allowed on RV's and no conversions (i.e. horse trailers, modified utility trailers, etc.) allowed in park. You must have a vehicle that can tow your RV onsite if that becomes necessary. **BIG RIGS, please use exit 337 (San Miguel Canyon) from Highway 101** Turn left at the first light, Prunedale North Road. This will allow you to make a right hand turn into our park (vs. a very sharp left hand turn from exit 336 or from Highway 156 entrance).
LATE CHECK-IN? Please let the front desk know if you will be arriving after hours. Upon arrival, pull all the way to the top and veer right to the STOP sign in front of the Night Registration. We will leave an envelope with your name and site number, and a map to your site, inside the envelope at the Night Registration area, next to the Office Front Door.
