Our stay was great, just wish it would have been a little cooler the 4 days we were there, a heat index of 106 degrees is not pleasant. But, we had fun anyway, we rented a pontoon boat out of Lake Cumberland Marina and spent the day on the water, best way to escape the unbearable heat. Russell Springs KOA has a lot of activity stuff on site, swimming pool, putt putt golf, and activities building.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Beautiful Lake Cumberland, voted the number lake in the US by USA Today readers, was the perfect way to escape the unusual heat. Being only one mile makes it really convenient.

Nice. campground . Couldn't get cell or internet service at our site. Excellent location. Lake Cumberland only a mile or so away. Convenient to stores and places to eat. Would stay there again.

Loved this park, the sites were big enough so you didn't feel crowded. Great pool area and not far from the water. Host's were great. We stayed in a C. Will go again. Price was reasonable.

This is our second year staying with KOA. Great stay as always!! Very friendly customer service!!

Had a nice stay. I would have to say that the park needs to have better wifi and cell service. I also think it would be nice if the bathrooms and laundry facilities had some sort of air conditioning. Otherwise, everyone, who works there is very professional and accommodating, and very friendly. I would definitely stay again but would have to figure out some way to use the phone.

Lack of cell service is a carrier issue. We have a cell tower 1/2 mile from us but ATT does not utilize that tower- therefore very little cell service for ATT customers. We look forward to seeing you again.

The staff was very courteous and attentive. The facilities were clean and the pool was great. Upon our arrival at 7:45pm I noticed the 30amp plug was burnt. The guys did a quick and thorough job replacing that so we could have electric that night instead of having to run an extension cord to the unused site next to us till morning. We really appreciated this a lot.

There was no shade on our slot. Made it very hot to sit outside.

We had a one night stay at this KOA. The campground was well kept and quiet. The staff was very hospitable and friendly and ready to help. For these reasons, I would definitely return to this spot.

Definitely away from it all! Nice and quiet. Campground seems to cater more to long term rather than short stays. Spaces were too tight together. Staff was wonderful.

Loved the stay been there a few times already only issue was a tree that I had to get very close to to be next to the concrete pad but still enjoyed the stay

The owner let us chose a really nice spot and was very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. I do believe the area the campground is in is mainly a fishing area but a little drive takes you to some nice parks.

Quiet spot, friendly staff. A few signs would be nice to direct to sites. Very disrespectful large group who I was told were seasonal. Their garbage blowing down the hill to the site we were in and no one picked it up in the 3 days we were there. The kids shooting some sort of guns that had a blue crystal substance that melted at us. I believe in letting kids have fun but that’s out of control.

We have been going to Russell Springs campground for 34 years, so you might say we have biased opinions but we have exceptional vacations there. We love the family mood, the owners feel like family, and the staff are the absolute best! I enjoy the secluded atmosphere also. The pool has been renovated and they are always having local attractions and people in the area that give shows,host parties

Very quiet. Woodsy...Fall all around. Only drawback...not their fault, no AT&T service..believe their service was Verizon...you can however, dial 911 & it will go thru. Everything else was great. Stayed Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon. Streaming great..cable great. Right by river..lots of activities on the river. We enjoyed our stay.

Every employee in this campground were extremely nice and helpful. Our truck battery died and they truly went out of their way to help us so we didn't have to call a service. Great info on sites to see and good restaurants. We would definitely go back.

Arcade room needs work. Putt putt was fun but leaves on the holes. Firewood was a bit lean on the size. Getting to the site via I-75, narrow country roads.

Located on the high banks of lake Cumberland the campground is quiet and reasonably priced. Spots were easy to get in and out of and utilities worked fine for the whole stay. Staff were friendly and facilities were nice.
