We stayed in a rustic cabin. Everything was very clean, including the bathrooms and showers! The kids loved the playground and the pool. All of the staff in the store were very friendly and helpful!

Staff very friendly and great weekend activities for kids. No thrills during the week however and got a bag with my vallet stolen at the shower house. Have yet to receive a call back if by any chance the bag was found or someone put in lost and found :(

The updates look good, and the sites are nice, but the fire pits are in bad locations so not everyone can sit around them and enjoy a nice campfire. The pool was green and very dirty and very, very cold. The activities were fun and enjoyable for the whole family.

It was very nice, clean and friendly. The only thing I would change is the actual camp parking location. We actually did not get the location we scheduled. The young person that directed us took us to another campsite that did not have any shade. We would like a tree in our area.

The campground is great and amenities, but we found the pool to be disgusting and not clean or balanced. Additionally he steps up to the slide are loose and very dangerous.

The site was very small for our 43ft trailer. It did fit but getting in and out of the park with a large 5th wheel was not easily done. The pool was dirty and VERY cold. When we packed up to leave at 10am we needed to use the bathroom. They were being cleaned and it was closed the entire hour we needed to use them. We had to drive into town to use the restroom before we got on the road.

Unfortunately we were so disappointed we left after one night. Our spot was tiny. We had enough room for our pop-up camper, nothing else. Our area was 4X6 feet and was surrounded by huge rocks. The area had a fire ring, large tree, and picnic table. There was no area for our kids to play, unless they played in the street. There was a bright light on all night and it was horrible. We won't return.

The facility was awesome. We really enjoyed the activities that we participated in. We enjoyed the beer/wine tasting, rock painting, giant slide, escape room, playground, pancake breakfast. The only recommendation I would add is stocking the shop with a few more essentials. We ran out of milk and trash bags and had to drive into town. We also probably would have bought snack food if avail.

I could not get reservations on line so I called direct. It took 11 minutes for the gentleman to figure out if there was room for our specifications. We made reservations for the Tuesday thru Friday (left Friday) prior to Labor Day. We were charged Labor Day rates. When we arrived to an empty campground we were surprised. Our reservation said we had a patio, but had nothing but gravel.

2 items that should be addressed. 1 - the pool was way too cold and so many bugs in the water- a solar blanket might be helpful . 2- the table at our campsite was pretty beat up and too splintery for my Grandkids to sit at, but the sites around us had much newer tables. Enjoyed the activities that were available and your staff were so nice and enjoyable to interact with.

Denise checked us in. She was an awesome representative of KOA. She assisted us with our spot and helped us find local suppliers we needed. The huge slide is showing age but a whole lot of fun! Bathrooms were very good, wifi also good and cable too!

Took 2 hours to get checked in. Confusion with staff about which cabin we were to stay in. Overall clean. Liked the activities there was to do at the camp although I didn't get to use them. Sites are very close together. Dusty, nice views. Didn't like being charged for linens and having to make our own beds. Overall, it was a decent stay. May go back one day. Motorcycle trip with a couple of buds.

We were put at the end of the down slopping property. We did not space to park our F359 at our site. We were unable to deploy our slide due to yree limbs. We asked that they be trimmed but the trimmer guy was sick. We did ourselves the next day We were in a rainstorm and the park roads rutted out and all the displaced mud buried our electric chord, water hose & all 4 landing gear pads 4 inches de

The bathrooms were clean, the people were friendly and our campsite was good. I don't know why the pool wasn't opened. It was August and there was water in it, but it had a padlock on the gate. I didn't ask and didn't anticipate swimming, but if I had, that would've been disappointing. I love the Canon City area and this was a convenient place to stay.

Wouldn't fit on the lot that was assigned to us. Moved to another lot which was uphill .Thanks to Denise she found a spot for us . More planning should have gone into site build to make them more across the hill than with it. 10 stars for Denise !

I loved the cabin clean , fire pit , grill shower toliet no TV loved that. They also had community showers and bathrooms if you had a tent or cabin without those accommodations so that was nice to know . The store was not overpriced put put was fun we had a great time I will definitely be back

The facilities were average. I found it ridiculous and frustrating that they closed the bathrooms for cleaning around 10 am with no warning. Check out is 11 and check in is 2 so one would think that’s the time they would close and clean the bathrooms. Not them. They close them when everyone’s leaving. Unbelievable.

The cabin I rented was not available at checkin due to broken glass spread out in the cabin. I felt that the cabin that I was then placed in was a downgrade from the original booked. The cabin I was moved to was, no where near the restroom and the walk is pitch black at night. A second restroom should be located by the far out cabins.

We absolutely loved our stay, but would like to note that the mattresses in the cabin were absolutely horrific! We purchased the lowest-priced option, so we understand we weren't purchasing luxury, but man, we could not sleep a lick! Up every hour, and woke up extremely sore. We would come back, and had a great stay otherwise, but remember to bring some items to make sleeping more comfortable!

Great location and everyone was very nice and helpful. So much to see and do, will very likely return and recommend to all. Only issue was not with campground but with other campers with dogs off leash, as responsible pet owners this is frustrating since we always abide by this rule for our pets safety.

Toilet in men's bathroom wouldn't flush. Told the front desk but nothing was done about it and no out of order sign was put on door. The next day somebody had used it and could not flush it causing a bad odor in the bathroom.

The hosts were very helpful and did everything they could to keep us happy. We ended up in a very nice site, but much of the park has no shade, if that's important to you. Make sure you put in your comments that you prefer shade and they will do their best to accomodate. There is a nice walking trail and lots of stuff in the area to do. We would definitely stay here again!!

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
