We were disappointed in this KOA since it was in an industrial location with very few trees, greenery or pavement. It had a lot of gravel & freeway noise. Nice bark park for dogs. That was about the only thing we were especially pleased with. Our 13 year old grandson couldn't even swim unless we were with him and we were busy getting set up. Once we were done the pool was closed.

Fairly typical of western KOA's that we've stayed in, Dirt, Dirt, Dirt. easy in/out. Great people at the desk!

Use this KOA only as stop-over. KOA directly next to heavy industry. Not a charming place. Bad wifi. Staff is very nice and helpfull!!

WiFi was only good for one day which was a great disappointment. Otherwise, the site was good and the hosts were very friendly, even offered cookies upon check-in.

Very nice park for our overnight stay

Nice, clean, friendly. Noise from interstate was loud for tenters. Grass on tent sites was dried out.

The tent sites where awesome, nice and grassy and having the fence around each individual one made it feel like you had some privacy

nice clean and friendly. Very noisy because of freeway so close. Hard to walk on surface do to rock covering on ground.

Why are there not paved roads in this campground? Our host was very nice.

This KOA was adequate as an overnight place to stay. Nothing special.

Only for one night, but a wonderful facility....The staff was very welcoming...would stay here if/when returning to Rock Springs area...perhaps for a longer stay to tour the area...Thank you Rock Springs KOA

Friendly and very helpful!

I liked the location, friendly staff, fence separation of sites (not all sites. Did not like the all stone surface or WiFi that dropped signal freuently. Overall experience rated good. May try to find another place next time only because of the stone surface and our dog.

Excellent staff!! So welcoming and friendly. Of all the KOAs I stayed on during our 3 week trip, this one had the best laundry facilities

This place was great for us setting up in the tent area. It is best suited as an overnight place but has little appeal as a destination. We would not stay if required to set up our motorcycle tent trailers in the gravel sites. This is not your fault, but the nearby construction REALLY SUCKED.

Excellent welcome team. Liked the cart leading us to our space. Very sparce, functional. Needs some greenery!

Nice KOA, staff very helpful and friendly.

So much gravel; but did appreciate being placed in a tent site where we could set up our camper trailer. We weretravelling on motorcycle. Cookies a nice touch with coffee. Clean place and friendly staff.

Bathrooms were extra good! Was quiet at night.

Nice oasis in the desert

As you enter, there are several huge OIL STORAGE TANKS adjacent to the KOA. Hazardous?? Then, if those weren't enough, behind the cabins, instead of looking at the rock face, the view is spoiled by a a large debris pile - like a mini landfill/junkyard. Such a sad place to put a KOA -why? Office staff were indifferent, not welcoming. Why pursue hospitality if you're not the hospitable type?!?

We made a reservation at the Rock Springs KOA enroute from Jackson to Dinosaur National Monument. The staff were friendly and helpful ... clearly the Kampground's greatest asset since the grounds are basically gravel and void of trees and plants. This worked well for our purpose, but wouldn't want to spend an extended stay.

"People" is the name of the game! My wife and I were treated like people. We thank you for being gracious hosts!

This was the perfect spot to stay while two of our families were takin( part in the National Rodeo at the event center. It also gave them a place to swim and take a break with us. We had a great time at your KOA.

Clean bathrooms and friendly staff.

We came in from a long journey and were in our cabin ready for rest in no time at all! Thanks for you prompt, friendly service!

simply an overpriced gravel parking lot. nice staff. decent pool. Typical KOA pricing structure; 25% higher areaher than others in the vicinity and rarely worth the extra tariff.
Aug 18, 2013
It was a gravel parking lot, with RV's crammed so close together. It was dusty, dirty and noisy. I would have been better off at WalMart. I trusted the KOA name. This is the second time KOA let me down on this road trip. I will do my homework next time I think about staying at a KOA.
