Local Area Attractions
Bearsdale Castle is a unique indoor attraction featuring hand-crafted miniature villages with model railway displays, plus western Canada’s largest animated toyland exhibit that "comes alive" at the touch of a button. Also featured is a Last Spike heritage display, view tower, pedal cars for younger children, souvenir shop, picnic area and refreshments.
The last spike was driven in the Canadian Pacific Railway at Craigellachie on November 7, 1885.

Golfing - beautiful 18-hole course
Revelstoke Golf Club is located in a beautiful setting by the Columbia River. It includes a mix of sand traps, dog legs and water hazards to suit all talents and skills.
Hiking available only a short distance from the City at Mount Revelstoke. There, you will find trails and hikes to suit every level and taste.
Several types of tours are available from one hour dam tours that let you enjoy the spectre of Canada’s highest dam from the canyon floor; to three hour tours that take you south on the Columbia River where you will take in the spectacular beauty of glaciers, waterfalls and migratory wetlands. Six hour day tours are also available with picnic lunch provided. Private fishing charters, and boat rentals available.
