Rv next to us hired power washer to clean their rig. Pressure washer loud noise started at 7am. The gas engine right next to us. Couldn’t even open our door to enjoy the fresh air. I complained to the office and I was told to speak to the people myself and that they couldn’t do anything. Office staff offered us a 10% discount and sent me an E receipt. But no partial refund on my account.

Pretty average. Main part of the park is pretty nice and looks good. If you have a site in the cheap seats, along and above the river, don't expect much. There are lots of weeds and trash along the fence. There is only one bath/toilet facility and it's closed 10PM-6AM. A park this size could easily use another one or two. Wait can be 5-6 people. WIFI is sketchy, didn't work for us.

Koa at boomtown was dirty, a lot of crakes in asphalt, noisy. The lot was not level which was a pain if your there for 1 day.

Restrooms need to be open 24/7. Camp site was not clean. Other than that, all good.

This is the first KOA I’ve stayed at that closes their bathrooms from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Once the two each bathrooms with showers open in the morning at 6:00 am, folks are taking showers , so if you need to use the toilet you will need to stand in line and wait as the other toilets do not open until 8:00 am. Not a KOA I will stay at again.

$70 per night due to Hot August Nights? Wi-Fi/Internet unavailable, even though your paperwork says it is. Very disappointing. Our first time back to Boomtown KOA in 4 years—-looked the same, if not worse. Grounds need to be upgraded. However water and electricity were great. Over the years we’ve stayed in many KOA’s, because we expect the best from a KOA.

It is sad to say I believe this KOA is on a downhill slide. The parking spaces a mostly not level and beat up. We have been using this place over an 8 year period and.we can see the decline. The laundry and bathroom hours are ridiculous. The outside bathrooms are always soaking wet and dirty. The trash along the back fence needs to be picked up. The picnic tables need replacing or redoing. Bye.

Very nice staff. Camp site was on the end with grass & shade. The only problem was people not picking up after their dogs, which can’t be blamed on KOA or their staff. We stayed in a motor home.

Some Sites too narrow for large rigs. Where trees are in narrow turn in, they should be guiding us into spaces. Hit a tree because of that. Other spits much better but never recommended those.

The park was nice and clean!!! It was quiet and peaceful the only problem we encountered was the Wi-fi was terrible and the cable went out and we could only access a few channels for about day and a half.

It would be really nice if you would not put "visitors" in with the permanent campers, it is very awkward. We were in between two permanent campers.

I like Boomtown KOA but the Wi-Fi and cable are terrible! Would love to see some trees by the dog park, very hot during the day! The staff is very friendly and helpful, except the grumpy gardener!

Tired old expensive park that needs some renovation. Ideal location in Reno and mostly full so there should be funds to spend on upgrades. My pedestal was ready to fall over and they still have not sorted the availability of laundry and restrooms after hours. Sad.

Outdoor bathrooms are dirty, hours for both indoor/outdoor bathrooms are not late enough, laundry hours are short and when you work all day you can never use them because they will be closed when you get off, construction starts at 6AM next door but they don't pre-warn you about that or offer any discounts for it, staff friendly except for the older blonde haired lady, she is rude and unpleasant.

The campground was not as well kept as other KOAs we have stayed in. Part of that is all the extended stays there, with all the junk around the sites.

We've probably stayed at 100 KOAs over the years. While staff was great, the camping environment was very disappointing. So many sites Crammed together, dead micro lawns, lack of trees. It just was not a pleasant experience. We didn't choose the campground for the gambling or Hot August nights, we were just passing through. Last time for us. We're now very happy at Coleville KOA.

Boomtown KOA was clean, staff was very friendly and informative. Great location off of the freeway and was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

The pool never opened at 9am, the pool showers/bathrooms were very dirty. The staff was great, helpful and informative especially the assistant manager, Keegan Hellman, He is valuable employee for KOA,the indoors office area was very clean.

Agree with others...its a parking lot with hookups. Lots of really large rigs here. However if you're here when it's a little less crowded you'll find it more appealing. Clean and well kept shower areas, bathrooms and a laundry facility. Lots of pets traveling along for the trip with their owners around the park. Folks walking dogs walk by often. Some follow park rules others don't. Watch where you step! Housing development just being built on the north side of the park. It won't be nearly as private soon.
