Very nice KOA park conveniently located near the Boomtown Casino. Due to construction next door, noise was an issue during weekdays. The bathrooms/showers are only available during office hours, so that was a bit inconvenient. The staff at this location was VERY helpful and accommodating, and were very flexible when I changed my booking dates due to unforeseen circumstances.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well kept. this is definitely a place that I have saved to my favorites in google maps.

Good location in Verdi just outside Reno and overlooks the Truckee River from a bluff above it. Quiet and well kept KOA. Convenient near Boom Town Casino. Employees friendly and helpful. Site location will effect your camping experience.

A bit run down compared with previous stays - permanent/long term residents apparent, with many things strewn untidily about the place. Showers not operational. No longer offering shuttle service to casino.

No bathroom facilities after the office closed. Sites were very very close to each other, Office help very rude and unfriendly. This is the worst KOA we have ever stayed at and we do NOT recommend staying here! Oh, and the construction around the campsite was a nightmare!!!!

Nice campground and hosts. Clean. Security present which is reassuring. Construction right next door. Very convenient location between Truckee and Reno area. Sites too close. Barely room to sit at picnic table without being right on top of sewer connection from next site. No room for extra outdoor chairs. Would stay again as home base.

Our site was filthy littered with Cigarette butts. The staff was great but the monitoring of their full time residents is awful. Dogs off their leashes in made up "pens". Site F137's dog tried coming over the gate to attack our leashed dogs. Watched this over & over with visitors walking their pets on leashes. Long term should be in their own section.

only issue is the WiFi; the bandwidth is insufficuent to handle the number of spaces. It works grat in the early afternoon and then fails as the spaces fill up

There was horrible loud construction and we were placed literally right next to it when there were many open spots throughout the park. The pool was dirty and nothing what the picture showed, the dump station was always fall with a line of people dumping and being as our campsite was right next to it it reeked, the smell was terrible. The on-site Store was a disappointment, Nothing like picture

This just isn’t a family campground. There were no 24 hour restrooms, only during office hours. They said the reason the exterior access was not being allowed was because a combination lock was broken. I was there three nights. I could have framed a new door with all new hardware and combination lock in three hours. A little boy almost had an accident in the floor waiting in line for a restroo

This is the second time I stayed here. Requested a site with a tree upon arrival and was told the facility was sold out. When walking the grounds there were many open spaces that would have accommodated my request. On my visit previously, I asked to stay an additional day. Same response no campsites. Same observation, many open sites. I like the location, the customer service is lack luster.

The facilities were nice. The 24 hour bathrooms were closed which made little inconvenient because they close the store bathrooms closed at seven. They did tell us that the manager just quit so they were shortstaffed. Overall it was a pretty decent stay. I would stay there again

The park s just okay. The staff is very friendly and they try to accommodate requests. However, I called to add a couple of days to my existing reservation and was told there were no vacancies. I then went online and discovered many vacancies able to handle my 5th wheel. The grounds are in a sorry state. I paid for a spot with no grass, just dirt. While other spots had various stages of grass.

Part of the incentive to stay there was to have cable tv my space c86 did not work the entire 16 days that I stayed in the park I brought it to there attention. No one even came to check the situation I had to call spectrum my self. They came and checked my line and said it was not working. He brought this to there attention and still nothing was done that I know of because I was not informed.

Sites were a bit close. 30ft backin site was pretty short. Two dogs off leash running up to us while trying to set up, although leashes are supposed to be mandatory. Looked like there were quite a few permanent residents with sites looking well lived in.

1-pool closed at 7:30,no chance to enjoy and relax 2 our ‘camp’ sight was great but a bit scary as the fence and ground was slipping into the canyon;3 the Koa was just a parking lot for the Casino

My stay was fine. Not overly impressive. I have been to other locations that was more impressive and pleasant. I walked up to the casino and was surprised that the path was not lit at dark, making it a challenge to walk and for safety.

I understand these things are out of Franchise control: power outage for 5+ hrs on a hot day. We got ice, but still struggled to keep fridge cold, as it faced the sun inside the RV. Cable TV was a bad connection. May or may not be park fault, but it worked fine the last time we stayed. We have never had cable trouble before. Yellow jackets. I would not be opposed to putting out traps.

Agree with others...its a parking lot with hookups. Lots of really large rigs here. However if you're here when it's a little less crowded you'll find it more appealing. Clean and well kept shower areas, bathrooms and a laundry facility. Lots of pets traveling along for the trip with their owners around the park. Folks walking dogs walk by often. Some follow park rules others don't. Watch where you step! Housing development just being built on the north side of the park. It won't be nearly as private soon.
