Currently a little rustic but a nice quiet spot for an overnighter or even a few days, current owner Is renovating and I'm sure it's going to become a great campground.

Just a safe spot on the road to overnight. We have stayed here before coming and going. Lots of sticker burrs so watch doggie feet. Lots and lots of dust, dirt and rocks. Asian cafe close enough to walk and convenience store close by.

The clerk was friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and comfortable. One of the showers didn't drain well but the water pressure was great. Overall the place exceeded my expectations.

Confusing reservation site had us pick 30amp instead of 50amp. Nice office staff at Raton moved us to only 50amp left that night. The grounds need a lot of work to make more pleasant. A public alley runs thru the RV park so we felt insecure. Location in Raton is good.

Older KOA but is being maintained to standards. The electrical connections at my site did not included a 30 amp plug-in but I had an adapter to allow me to plug into a 50 amp connection so recommend updating the electrical outlets. In my RVing around the country have come facilities that have credit payment ability versus actual .25 cent quarters. It takes a boatload of quarters to do a couple of

Great people in a small town park. The gravel lot might be a little bad in rainy weather, but all the hookups work well and there is adequate water pressure. We stay here whenever in the area because it has a low cost.

we love Raton! Have stayed there a couple of times, and will be back. This time there was a bunch of stickers, but you take your shoes off at the door!!! hope to see ya soon!!!

Some shade, no pool and garbage bins overflowing. Other than that it was okay for a one night stay.

Was able to get reservations less than a week before our stay with no problems. Easy reservations on line with prompt confirmation via email. Nice accommodations including great internet. Bathrooms and shower close by but we did not use since we were in an RV. Front office was very courteous and owner was awesome and went above and beyond to help in anyway he could in storing small trailer for us.

Recommend updating bathrooms. But we stay here every time we stop in Raton. We arrived, went to the spot identified on our reservation sheet and someone was already in it. So we stayed in which is the site identified on the checkin board as reserved. Hopefully is was just a number written down wrong.

Mosquitos were bad. Unclear which restroom we were assigned to and lock code only worked on the one we were supposed to use. Which resulted in trial and error in the dark while mosquitos feasted. Not up to koa standards in my opinion.

Camp ground office was under remodel construction. It was my understanding that this was now going on three years. I think someone needs to step up. Outside of that this park is a good over-night or two night stay.

staff very friendly. The owner even took time to come to our site to visit with me. I am handicapped and use a walker and cane to get around. The KOA is suited for handicap people. We asked for a site close to facilities and were in site 2, right next to them. We stayed a total of 4 days at this koa and will use them again next year on our venture north.

Very quiet nice level site easy in and out. Needs a bigger dog park. Store not good. Maybe try to do something about the mosquitos. I would still stay here again this is our 2nd or 3rd time. You need to mention that there is a nice golf course near by.

No soap in bathrooms. Hot water was luke warm. Mosquitoes were horrible - need to do something on the grounds. Gentleman running it very good looking out for campers and helping out well.

The sites are not private - your back to back which means you share your front yard - not good. Drag racing for two hours on the street in front till after midnight.

I reserved an electric & water site for 2 nights. The spaces are super long and flat. Beautiful green grass separates the sites. The bathroom is rather outdated but very clean. I will definitely stay there again. Also, the staff, including the owner, were very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the parking spots are all gravel and poorly maintained. All the hookups worked fine, and the shower and restroom facilities were clean. It just wasn't an enticing location and overall vibe.

Campground facilities are very clean and well cared for.....great bathrooms and showers which is important. Tent sites are kind of in the middle of everything and the location of the campground so close to the road makes for a lot of noise. Also amber security lamps were on all night which made sleeping difficult.

Had an issue when the power went off and knocked out the power in our coach, even with a surge protector. Fortunately, nothing was damaged. Other than that, we had a nice stay!

Was a great stay. They were so helpful when we couldn’t get our tv to work. Nice clean and quiet! Would come back again as they were spacious and easy in and out. Beautiful location

Great place for in town camp site. Rv sites and tent sites. Kids playground and dog playground. Clean with bathrooms and dish wwshing sink.Owner Grant helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Reasonable priced. Will be back. Thanks

Twice, to and from our destination, we needed to change our reservation due to bad weather, and they were able to accommodate us. Staff is friendly and helpful. Shower area is OK.

This is so conveniently located, close to restaurants, shopping and gas stations. The folks at the front desk are so friendly and accommodating, and the WiFi actually works well. This is my go-to stop when I'm heading back to Colorado after my winter trip.
