I messed up my reservation details and showed up on the wrong night. The staff was kind and understanding and got me set up for the night. I stayed in a cabin. It did smell strongly of cig smoke, but was very warm (cold cabins has been an issue at other KOA campsites) and was cozy.

Great stay in semi-frigid temperatures. Clean facilities and friendly staff. I would recommend to all. Thanks again Grant and all the staff.

Wonderful site plenty of room. I had an issue with a dryer in the laundry room after the office closed but the staff came down and was very helpful. Thank you we will return.

Only one night. Very friendly staff. Level pull-thru with plenty of space for opposing slides. Very clean & warm restrooms/showers on a cold day. Would stay again.

An older campground whose owners are trying to upgrade, but whose amenities are adequate. We’ve stayed there before and will again.

i had trailer trouble outside of Raton on the way to Colorado Springs. Showed up a little after 5 PM and they were very friendly and accommodating. Great stay !

I was welcomed warmly by the managers and was gifted a KOA coozy. They also had a small space heater already running in my cabin when I arrived. Bathrooms were clean and functional, and the soap dispensers were full. This is a great affordable place to lay your head whether you’re in a cabin, RV, or tucked inside a tent. An aging, but comfortable KOA whose owners are trying to renovate. However, the amenities, WiFi and cable TV, are active and reliable. Have stayed here many times in the past and will again.

Staff was very accommodating when we had to stay an extra night due to snow. They had a broken pipe which flooded some areas but were quick to repair it. Spots were easy to get into. Wide aisles to drive thru.

We had cabin K1 and it was great other than the space heater just didn’t put out enough heat for a night in the teens temperature wise. Other than that tho as always love the Raton KOA! Very comfortable mattress and love the mini fridge. One of my favorite KOA’s. Maybe just get a better heater in there. �

This is a great little campground for overnight stays when heading to a warm and sunny destination. The hosts are very welcoming and available to answer any questions or concerns.

This is a great park for my travel from Colorado to points south. The front desk is always very cordial and friendly -- the park is very clean -- and close to gas and food and services. I'll stay here again and again.

Great and very well keep campground, everyone working there are nice and helpful. Sites are spacious and location is good, walking distance to groceries and a few restaurants.

I was pleasantly surprised by the accessibility of the men’s restroom & showers to the cabins on site. The room heater worked very well inside the cabin. Also, the television inside the cabin offered a wide assortment of programs. I enjoyed staying at Raton, NM KOA.

This was only an overnight stop, so we only used the electric. Being November, the park was mostly empty. The site was level and clean. The staff were very friendly.

Very easy on/off highway. Easy enough to get in/out of site. It is a a decent park. I was concerned about security, as I saw a couple digging through the dumpsters next to the park. Good spot for a one night stay.

Great place for in town camp site. Rv sites and tent sites. Kids playground and dog playground. Clean with bathrooms and dish wwshing sink.Owner Grant helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Reasonable priced. Will be back. Thanks

Twice, to and from our destination, we needed to change our reservation due to bad weather, and they were able to accommodate us. Staff is friendly and helpful. Shower area is OK.

This is so conveniently located, close to restaurants, shopping and gas stations. The folks at the front desk are so friendly and accommodating, and the WiFi actually works well. This is my go-to stop when I'm heading back to Colorado after my winter trip.
