Needed a one night quick stay. It's not the fanciest KOA but clean and staff is gracious and helpful. Needed a picnic table to tie my doggies and the gentleman delivered one within minutes! Nice views .

Needs some up dating. Electric poles are a little wobbly when you try to plug-in and also confusing with two sides use the same pole and the same side.

I loved our little spot next to the brook!

Great camping location. One thing can you add something to your rules about pets. If you bring a dog you are not allowed to leave for the day and lock your dog in the RV for over 12 hours all alone. The little dog barked his head off alllll day long. That is animal cruelty and was very disrespectful to other campers.

No water pressure. Water trickled out of the shower and faucets. OK for a one-night stay enroute to somewhere else.

The host was very nice and welcoming. The site was level and campground very clean.

The stay was good. The only problem I had which may be out of control from the Raton KOA was the mosquitoes and gnats/sand flies (or what ever they were) will bite and it itches! Maybe some kind of spray in the area would help with the control. Either way, we have to Raton KOA numerous times during our travels, and a good stopping location.

Check in is great since you are able to complete it online before arriving at your destination. The KOA in Raton NM has been a great stopover for us for the past 3 years. The restrooms are clean and there was plenty of hot water for the shower.

A quiet spot near the northeast NM/CO border. Stayed here end of Mar 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt pad. Site #15 General: 1) Peaceful place. 2) Close to Taos and a few other interesting spots. 3) Some sites have shared connection areas Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Cell/hotspot using booster: Verizon (3 of 4 bars, sometimes 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Normal KOA checkin at office. Simple and easy. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Very clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. 4 washers. 4 dryers. Washers were a touch smaller than normal, if that is of a concern to you. Location: Gas 3 min from entrance. Restaurants are about 5 min away. Restaurants—Alfonso's: I had never tried gas station tacos/burritos until this location and they were pretty darn good. Similar experience to having a McDonalds/Taco Bell/etc at a gas stop. Near highway: Yes. Close but cannot hear the interstate. The KOA is directly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: Not that I recall.

Easily the best KOA I've ever been to. We stayed in the little log cabins and they were amazing. Memory foam mattresses, a good quality heater that actually warms the cabin properly, and the staff made sure to have it running for us before we got there. You will not go wrong renting a cabin here, worth every penny.
