The Dirty Girl Mud Run series is now the premier women's mud run event, with more fun, more obstacles, more girl power, more creativity, more high fives, more excitement, and of course, more mud than any mud run event can muster! Additionally, Dirty Girl Mud Run continues to support Breast Cancer awareness and research donating more monetary support to this cause every year, thanks to its participants.
Participants will work alongside a large animal veterinarian and learn the anatomy, physiology, and basic nutrition and the care of cows, horses, and sheep, and much more! Fee and preregistration is required. Ages 10-15.
July 24th - Marsh Billings Farm: A summer day in the farm fields, featuring traditional haying techniques, including cutting, raking, and tedding with the Farm's draft horses and equipment. Quench your thirst with a sample of Switchel, the haymaker's drink. Especially for families: Find a Penny-In-The-Haystack, making scarecrows puppets & clothespin horses; horse-drawn wagon rides, farm programs, and activities.

The 55th Annual Art In The Park: August 6 & 7 Rutland Vermont
Art in the Park is a fine art and craft festival featuring 100 juried artists and craftsmen. The festival includes demonstrations, food, children's activities and musical entertainment. Held rain or shine, Art in the Park draws artisans from all across the northeast and beyond who ply their craft in wood, stone, clay, fiber, metal, glass, with cameras, or on canvas. Art in the Park is Vermont's Oldest Continuing Arts Tradition.

August 7th - Billings Farm & Museum- Tractors made between 1930 and the 1960s will be displayed by the proud and talented folks who restored them. Tractor parade at 1:00 p.m., includes restoration details and historical information. Tractor-drawn wagon rides and tractor activities for children, including the popular tractor sandbox.
October 1 & 2: -Billings Farm & Museum: Hands-on programs will highlight two essential fall crops, including: apple tasting, cider pressing, pumpkin bowling, apples-on-a-string, making pumpkin & apple ice cream, cooking apple butter in the farmhouse, and wagon rides.
