At first when we pulled in and seen all of the people and chaos going on we were a little like oh no we will probably never come back there are way too many people here but then we got in got set up and had a great weekend. All of the staff that we encountered were really nice and we just had an all around relaxing time. We also loved the location of our camp site.

Tenters are STACKED on top of each other, parking is a nightmare,employee communicate / rule enforced is inconsistent / lacking ,our site didn't have a picnic table(they didn't bring 1 after it was brought to their attention)among many other things. As a camper, none of this would have really bothered us if it was reflected in the price. But paying top $$ for sub par sites & service is a no for me

Place is okay - small sites and tons of people. The “amenities” were not nearly as nice as they looked online—think ‘90s kitschy. Very close to town where there are a lot of cool things to do, so that is a plus. No one seemed to be in charge. Kids working there were nice enough but couldn’t answer basic questions. One even admitted it was their last day and they had already checked out.

It was all good but i feel that the camp sights are too close and there needs to be some sort of security team because there was people fighting when i was trying to sleep.

When we arrived on our cite there was a sewage spill still there. We had to tell them at the store. There was a lot of garbage on the ground that was from campers though. When we were packing up the clean up crew was around cutting and trimming grass around our motorhome and we were not impressed. We understand that it needs to be done but our check out was not until 2 and it was only around 10am

We had a great time! Wish we would have knew how to rent the golf carts. Not enough information when you check in. And please pay your employees more, all weekend they were heard over talking about how they don’t make enough and they are ready to leave….not good to over hear!!!!

We had a great time with the grandkids and my son. You have a lot of nice activities for the kids to do and nice pools . Clean and well maintained.

WiFi was a huge issue, used data and incurred loads of data charges. It is very imperative that when taking kids that they can tour on their own and still have contact via texts, etc. I was extremely disappointed that WiFi was included but we could not benefit from it

We have a 45’ motorhome towing an H2, I wanted a pull through so we didnt have to unhook. This place in NOT big rig friendly. The roads are very narrow & sites are tight. Put us in 30 amp site, would not lend the 30/50 adapter we were there one night so I bought one, used it & returned in the am. Office staff is a bunch of kids who have no rv knowledge. $86 for 30 amp seriously?

We were really impressed with Pt Huron KOA lots to do lots of amenities and really good quiet time yes I would recommend this KOA. It would be a place to take your kids for sure

We travelled to this campground with 3 other families. Disappointed that the water slides were listed on the website but when we arrived told they were no longer running. Staff was not very knowledgeable about event times, how Sawmill worked etc. when we asked questions. Would be much better if the activities and pool would have longer operating hours for guests to enjoy. Campsites clean/big.

Quite disappointed! 1) water slides closed 2) staff very unfriendly and not knowledgeable in park rules/times/details 3) timing ok when things are open and closed is not kid friendly, nothing open until noon is ridiculous 4) cabins incredibly unclean! Chips in the couch, dirt and grime everywhere

I wanted to give 5 stars but one of the main reasons we go camping is swimming however the pools were so cold, they were unbearable to be in. Supposedly the one pool is slightly heated but it was still very cold. Other than that, the campground has lots to do for kids and Sawmill City next door provided plenty of fun. Stock of clothing seemed low with generally only small or kid sizes available.

Big "resort" feel, lots of groups camping. Bike and Golf cart rental (didn't try) sites are decent sizes, not all have lots of trees. Good mix. Although 8 miles away railway switching yard so trains are blowing whistles at all hours (depending what site you may not hear) Thumbs up to Alishia who checked us in - even with customers being rude to her she was smiling and a great hostess!!

Love the atmosphere of the Port Huron KOA. We have visited several times. This year the mosquitoes were terrible! No matter what prevention we used they ruined our outdoor area time. Fires were cut short. When they came to cut the grass the area was swarmed for the rest of the day. Also the pools were very cold. Not a refreshing chill but so icy that my little one was shivering and wanted to play.

Very dissatisfied with other campers cutting through sites even after asking them to stop several times. When I went to the front desk I was told security would address it, but it continued. Not only did it cause my dog, I wasn't able to relax. We have enjoyed camping here for years but after this last stay I doubt we will return.

I was very disappointed that when there were periods of time that it was not raining that activities were nmot running. Things can be manually driven off. There seems to be a lot of staff but not overly interactive with the campers.

I really think 11pm quiet time is too late. 10pm would probably more reasonable. Too many unruly, unsupervised older children and teens running around and on golf carts.

Very busy park . The washrooms need more attention when there is that many people using them , I would say every 2 hours there should be someone going to clean the washrooms. Pools were nice ! Sites are good , cool that it comes with a bbq and nice chair to relax on

It was very unpleasant in site 122. The grounds were a mess, someone made a fire pit right next to the door, and I felt like I was living in a pyromaniac convention. Smoky at 7:45 AM. Won’t happen again.

I was impressed by my stay, this particular KOA was clean and friendly. Everyone that was an employee at this particular KOA was helpful and friendly. The wood I purchased was at my camp before me. The only thing is the Wifi. It was definitely not good enough to handle the load that was on it, neither was the cellular network.

From now on, my party is going to spend $10 and pick a campsite. . Felt like my party was sharing a campsite the campers on site 178. Site was HORRIBLE.. . Lesson learned.

You’re basically getting fried with radiation at this campground. Not only are there city power lines & towers going through the park, but there are wifi poles on certain sites (wifi doesn’t even work) and on our site #195 there’s a massive electric box with a smart meter. People are supposed to stay a minimum of 40 feet away from smart meters, and our camper was literally 5 feet away. So un

The staff was very helpful at check-in. We were always greeted with a smile when we were out on the golf cart or walking. We have recommended others to use this KOA.

Enjoyed the stay. Booked last minute and was still able to have a great site. Staff helpful and very friendly. Many amities for all ages. Look forward to nest time.

When we arrived, we were greeted by young girls who tried to force me to park my vehicle and go inside regardless of my sleeping children in the car. There was no option to finish checking in or registering my vehicle outside and they refused to allow my husband to fully check us in. They also asked us move out of the way because RVs take priority over all other rigs. There are no walking paths.

This is our 12th year in a row minus Covid years. We come over from Ontario with other family’s and always have a great time! Beautiful sites, all kinds of things to do, exceptional staff. Always a favourite trip for our family

Port Huron KOA has gone downhill. Slides are not operational. Litter everywhere. Employees driving golf carts at excessive speeds. Movies were not shown as scheduled. There is definitely a management issue with training. A young man was cleaning fire pits, and had a burning fire in a gas golf cart driving around the campground. We have been coming here 12+ years and I don’t think we’ll be back

This place is very family oriented and has a ton of activities for the kids. Some areas are not shaded and small lots but some areas have larger lots and shade.
