Yemasee is a pleasant campground. They were very helpful and welcoming. The campground is landscaped well. The coffee and wine bar is attractive as is the gift shop. My husband enjoyed fishing in the lake. We did observe some alligators while at the lake. Overall welcoming and inviting.

Great stay! We have traveled this way several times and have enjoyed the campground, camp store and being able to sit down, have a cool Beer and a slice of Pizza. We locked ourselves out of our camper that night and the staff was very helpful in fixing our Delima.

The people who work there were so helpful and kind. No matter what job they were doing, they did it with a very positive attitude. They made my stay so relaxing and fun. Thank you. I definitely want to stay again.

What a lovely spot, easy access off the highway, very friendly staff and a great restaurant with pizza etc and fancy coffees. Our pup enjoyed the dog park, though it could have been bigger. Loved it!

We did an over night on the way to Florida and on the way back always happy to stay at this campground, we stayed there last year. Also never have any complaints. and the people are always so helpful and nice.

Campground is well maintained and clean. Maintenance staff sanitized all hookups when a site was vacated, I’ve never seen that in the nearly 40 years I’ve been camping! They also have a pizza and wings cafe with a wine and beer bar. Very friendly staff.

Exceptional owners and employees. Perfect little retreat. Great amenities (wine tasting, beer tasting, pizza, walking trail around huge lake with chance to see alligators, etc) overall 10.

Loved the Bistro. Very helpful to weary travelers. Grounds were well kept, and accommodating for pets. Overall stay was excellent. I will be recommending that my friends stay at your Park.

Easy check in with friendly staff. They took us to the site and help us get backed in to the site. They answered all our questions and returned a few time to follow up if there were any questions.

We had a great time at Point/South KOA. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Bathhouse was very clean. The only negative was highway noise.

Excellent customer service. Assigned to 51B patio site. Spent 2 nights. Ate dinner at the office. Pizza and wings. Wife did a flight of white wines and I had 2 Charleston Amber Ales. If you are running I-95 stop in and stay a few nights. It’s really worth it.

The staff were awesome. But our pull thru site was too small to exit without unhooking. They had had a lot of rain and most areas were flooded. Our site was a small pond.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We can not control 6' of rain in two days. We would have been happy to give you 100% money back within an hour and closed the site if it was as bad as you stated. We were full with no other complaints on March 6 so let us know while you are here. You had a lot of room to exit based on 40 years. Jen~

I enjoyed my stay at Point South/I-95/Yemassee KOA. The staff was very friendly. They have a nice bar/lounge, big playground and a very nice dog park with short walking trail. The bathrooms were very clean.

A gem of a KOA, possibly the best one we have been to (and we've been to many). Lovely park and well maintained sites. Great, clean facilities and lovely coffee/wine/beer bar - maybe a few outside tables so those with pups can sit and imbibe).. good location although in a bit of a food/liquor desert but we got by! It was fun to watch the daily cycle of caterpillar life on some of the trees. Loved meeting some fellow Airstreamers but all the people staying here were really nice - no political flags on display which was a pleasant change. Definitely will return when in these parts of the US again. Stayed for 3 nights. Should have stayed more.

They have a bar and pizza menu in the campground store. The on tap amber ale is excellent! The staff is friendly and helpful. This is our favorite KOA!
