We were looking forward to dinner and a beer at the Cafe. They had a cat inside the Cafe allowing it to walk around. First it's unclean, second I'm allergic to cats. Next the road noise was loud from 95. Our sewage hose didn't reach. The staff was very nice.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Ms. Potts, site #2 can host up to a 40' mh so your 28' travel trailer had plenty of room to move for the sewer allocation. Open 13 hours a day we would have been happy to assist. Boo, the cat, has been here for 12 years with great acceptance and no issue. We would have thrown her out had we known.

Loved this campground. Absolutely the nicest owners/staff. The sites were well kept and nice size. We came here to visit with family (we are from TN) and the staff was so accommodating! We will be back and back and back. I am also recommending this campground to my daughter as she camps a lot also Thank you again for a great stay

The place is very clean. The people working there were the best asset of the place. My wife and myself will always stop there when we are headed north or back home

This is our “go to” KOA, we deer hunt in the area and we stay here multiple times a year, for over 20 years now. We love the campground, and especially the people! Clean and well kept, the pizza is a nice bonus!

Friends had told us about the campground. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We especially liked the cafe. We had pizza, wine and beer and met 2 couples and have a very enjoyable evening. The cafe concept was a great amnenity.

Very quick in & our visit on our way back from Disney. Would have loved to stay there longer. Is was VERY Friendly and unique.

We have stayed in many KOA’s as we have made three cross-country trips. Even though this park is small, we can see why it rated campground of the year a few years ago. It has so many amenities, a beautiful pool and the friendliest, most helpful staff. One of the big bonuses is that they have an extensive coffee bar, beer and wine bar, and a pizza bar! It was so much fun chilling out there.

The number one thing that sets this KOA apart is the staff. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. The number two is the pizza, wings, coffee bar and bar. You can eat in, carry out or have it delivered to your site.

We stop at this RV park going outbound from Florida on I95 or inbound returning home. It is easy on and off the freeway with very little freeway noise. It is clean and very well kept. Level sites and great HD cable TV. Has decent size dog park. Best part is a friendly bar in the office that has gourmet coffee, lots of wine, a couple of draft craft beers, Hunts Pizza and wings. A fun place.

Wonderful campground. Nice and quiet. Staff are pleasant and eager to help or answer questions. Sites are spacious and level. We always stop overnight here when on our way south. Their pizzas are excellent!!!

I love this place. All of the staff. I’m pretty sure I met all of them are fantastic. Very helpful. The sites are nice and shaded. The coffee shop / bar / pizza place is great. My wife likes pineapple and ham on hers. They made it specifically for her. There’s a caboose cabin that looks cool. The pool is nice too. I know we will stay here again!

Perfect for an overnight stay. Clean, well maintained, very friendly staff. Most sites are gravel. Local coffee and wines served and sold here. This park is next to the interstate for convenience, so there isn't anything that can be done to subdue the road noise.

We enjoyed this KOA immensely.. the only thing that would have made it better would have been if they offered a two month snowbird opportunity! We liked it so much we would have come back for January and February!:) Clean, updated restrooms and great pool area. We booked a snowbird special 30 miles south but will visit the wine bar again. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Lory.

It was a lovely campground. Well landscaped, well maintained, quiet, & very nice hosts. We were there for just one night, a stop along our way, and would definitely stay there again!

We've stayed at Point South a few times now, for an overnight stop on our way back to our FL home. We love this place! Besides the level pull-thru sites with easy hookups and lots of shade, we especially like the "Swimming Mermaid" wine bar. It's comfortable and the fellowship has always been warm and friendly. We enjoyed the custom brews along with tasty pizza and wings. Four thumbs up!!!

Great people and I do like the escort to my site. The sites are much to close to each other for me.

Your 17' trailer was in a site that fit a 32' motorhome towing. Guests with 45' MH tout continually great large spaces. Thankfully there is a campground out there for everyone. Happy trails. Jennifer ~

I enjoyed my stay at Point South/I-95/Yemassee KOA. The staff was very friendly. They have a nice bar/lounge, big playground and a very nice dog park with short walking trail. The bathrooms were very clean.

A gem of a KOA, possibly the best one we have been to (and we've been to many). Lovely park and well maintained sites. Great, clean facilities and lovely coffee/wine/beer bar - maybe a few outside tables so those with pups can sit and imbibe).. good location although in a bit of a food/liquor desert but we got by! It was fun to watch the daily cycle of caterpillar life on some of the trees. Loved meeting some fellow Airstreamers but all the people staying here were really nice - no political flags on display which was a pleasant change. Definitely will return when in these parts of the US again. Stayed for 3 nights. Should have stayed more.

They have a bar and pizza menu in the campground store. The on tap amber ale is excellent! The staff is friendly and helpful. This is our favorite KOA!
