This was just a one night layover stop for us. Facility is clean and well maintained. And, as usual, you always feel a nice sense of security when staying at a KOA. I was a bit surprised at the amount of full timers residing at park.

This was a good stay. Price was reasonable, not like some KOA overcharges. Just an overnight pit stop on the way to Bosie. I'd go here again.

Friendly staff, beautiful evening views across the valley if you have a back in site with a view. Loved our site #82. #90 thru the 70s had this view. Showers and bathrooms spotless.

What a beautiful well groomed park with SPECTACULAR views! Clean bathrooms. Very well laid out park. The town of Pendleton is a true “must see”. Stay an extra day and be sure and take the Underground Tour! It was just fascinating! The downtown was awesome!

We had some problems with our tv reception and electrical problems with our sofa. Jon, the manager and his crew were great in helping us solve those issues. We were also extremely impressed with condition of the park. Overall we had a great stay!

The staff is so nice and helpful, laundry area is clean. Sites are a bit close together but still. There is enough separation so not to be right on top of each other.

The staff works hard and stays friendly. The showers are hot and clean with great water pressure. Nice location and close to so many things to do! Awesome!

Enjoyed the restroom with shower (for people with disabilities). Pendleton is a clean KOA and the staff provided good customer service. Pleasant stop for an overnight stay.

One of the best parks I’ve ever stayed at. Great staff, beautiful view, concrete pads, asphalt road, trees, grass, and excellent bathrooms make this park rank top tier.

KOA has lost its way allowing permanent residents with not a lot of oversight. Staff was kind and friendly but didn't feel safe letting kids walk around the park with some questionable residents. Seems like a trend with KOA's on west coast.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If it eases your mind, we do require a full background check on all adults who stay in the monthly/long-term sites (and as an added bonus, we have several law enforcement officers among the residents as well).

We stayed at the Pendleton KOA Journey in April with a large 5th wheel. We didn't expect to find a pool, spa or other amenities. Pros: *Easy to find and access from I-84. *Quick check in with reservation. *Has a small store on site; propane available *Road was paved; turns were easy to make *Beautiful view from our level concrete site *Tow vehicle parking space at the site *Nice, new wooden picnic table at the site *Clean park and QUIET at night *Pet friendly; has a doggie park *Really nice, caring 'people oriented' managers *Cable TV was clear and good; hook ups were good Cons: *Tight sites (if your RV/trailer is long and/or has slides on both sides) *Long grass & weeds at sites *Too many 'long term' RV-ers *There were wooden 'porches' stored in the way across from our site so we struggled backing into it. Rehooking and pulling out was okay. This park is really nice for a night or two stop over, but because of the 'long term' RV-ers, we personally wouldn't stay longer than that. One of the nicest 'Journey' category KOAs we've stayed at. Recommend reservations ahead of time if possible.

Very nice park. Level sites with great views. Staff is friendly. Best little dog park. Only here two nights, but this goes on our favorites list. Highly recommend.
