Campground Reviews

Very disappointing. We stayed here for a night on our way to Glacier Montana. The store closed at 6 and the pool closed at 8. Seems a little ridiculous in the middle of the summer when it was still almost 90 at 8pm. The website said they had a Saturday morning breakfast. They quit doing that but didn't take it off the site. Definitely dropped the ball on this park KOA!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Cook was home sick this week. Couldn't do anything to make these guests happy. We tried.

It was clean and friendly, a typical KOA. But it is so close to the freeway, very noisy. I should have Google earth researched the area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes our tent sites are close to the hwy but every tenter is told at check-in if the passing cars bother them we will move them to a RV site at no extra charge.

The tenting area was a stones throw from the freeway, very noisy. I have a large truck, and I couldn't park it in the tenting area, so I was stressed about not parking it in the proper spot. The bathrooms were very clean and well looked after.

This is not a park for kids! It should say that in the description in the book. Worst playground ever. No activities for kids and the game room was closed and had no games anyway. The pool was way too cold. The park is way too close to the freeway and truck noises kept us awake. This is a great place for an adults only stopover, but not a place for a family with kids.

Need to give more explicit directions as we thought we were lost because it seemed so far out of town. We thought we were lost and were ready to turn around when we finally saw it. We enjoyed our stay, nice space, Mo was extremely nice and made us feel welcome. He went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. Thanks!

I am a tent camper. I thought the showers/facilities were clean. My main complaint is the space. Everyone, especially the parking lot for the tent campers is miniscule and shared with a stinky dumpster. These are clearly "compact car" spaces with trucks and vans opening my door, and so did the people next to me. We were cramed in there! The camping space is just dirt by the highway.

The park was clean and well organized. The swimming pool is small but nice to use. The pool hours are lousy though. I can understand an 8 p.m. close for children but my wife and I like to use the hot tub an hour or so before we go to bed. Also opening the pool at 10 a.m. is way to late. The dog areas are nicely dispersed around the park. Access was easy.

Old lady at the counter was not interested in my questions about wifi but concerned about the live-ins. Why do they call it a campground when it should be a motorhome park for live ins? Park is also on the freeway that is busy all night and day. Park was clean, and outside staff were friendly but I would never go back...

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Don't have any old women that work here. How rude.

Camping with you is a very pleasant experience. The only reason I didn't give you the highest rating was the noise and I know you can do nothing to prevent that. I do want to commend the people and staff that went around in the big wind and helped to put awnings down. Thanks for a very nice stay in the Tri Cities Clyde & Theo Derting

The first night at 1:00am someone was shooting off firecrackers for about an hour, not sure why but very annoying. Second night was OK.

Very nice campground. All roads are paved and all sites have well kept grass. The only drawback was that it is located right next to the freeway, which made it very noisy. I would stay there again.

We got there late and it was raining. There were only three parking spots for tent campers, and one car was parked over two lanes. I had a small U-Haul and there was nowhere to park. It seemed like there was overflow parking, but I was unsure if it was part of the KOA. As the host was not in the office, I could not get questions answered, so we had to stay in a hotel.

Would not return phone calls or allow us to make a reservation

Very nice young man at the office gave us an RV site since the tent sites were full. They were full because there's only three of them. Three small spaces tucked away behind a fence right next to a very noisy freeway! Why treat tenters like dogs? Never coming back here!

I reserved online (a great convenience) and when I arrived a little late, there was a package with all the info I needed taped to the bulletin board. Was given a beautiful site which was very easy to set up on. Thanks very much. You have a wonderful clean park.

Very hot place to stay. All the pavement makes for hot feet for dogs and people. Not a lot of room between sites. Nice dog park area.Staff was very friendly. Lots of freeway noise.

Very clean, inviting campground. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Would stay here again.

When we 1st got there the guy did not know the rule and argued with me on what I was told on the phone when I booked our spot, not good. Also our spot had a dead tree and we could not extend our awning. We would stay over night if we had to. But will not for days again.

Just a quick overnight stop on our way back home to Montana.

I was so impressed with the cleanliness, & service. The access was so easy and close off the freeway. I was worried about noisy campers. My son was competing in swim championships so sleep was top priority. It was the most amazingly quietest camp ground experience I've ever had. I will be back and recommend this KOA highly! Happy Kampers!

Clean bathrooms/shower/laundry areas. A lot of tenants, with heavy early AM weekday traffic/activity. Directly next to freeway.
Jul 27, 2013
nice people, clean facilities and a good rest.
Jul 26, 2013
Great quick stop. Enjoyed the pool but the traffic was pretty loud. My family slept fine but it took a while to fall asleep.
Jul 25, 2013
Clean restrooms but Kampground more like a parking lot than a place to "camp"
