Lady in the office was not accommodating and rude

All peoples working on the camp were very friendly and know their job. Campsites were clean.
Aug 08, 2021
Monitored outside security for fires out at 11 was a bit much, especially what you pay for both site and wood.
Aug 08, 2021
Clean washrooms/showers, nice park with off leash dog park, pool, and pond/sitting area. Only negatives were 1HR WIFI, fires out @11pm and recycling overflowing/emptied only on Friday.

Terrain était dans un espace en pente. Nous avons été pris dans une petite rivière du à d’importantes chutes de pluie. Camping très tranquille. Ville très prêt pour les commodites

Propre Mais très désagréable, beaucoup de chiens qui jappent

Very boring park. No privacy between sites. Firewood expensive and wet. Pool was way over chlorinated. Staff was friendly but would have appreciated more knowledge of the area instead of "google it".

Beautiful property that is well maintained!

It was very clean and quiet. Campsites lots of room and lots of space. The only thing had problem is the hydro outlet...I paid hydro but the sites are shared..I paid for hydro..next tent site took all of outlets...thought they had more..

One night stay while on a "Light House Tour". Liked the clean washrooms, and the pool was very appreciated.

Was disappointed that fires had to be out by 11. I understand quiet time but campfires are the best part about camping. Not being allowed to park on someone’s lot is crazy when there is room. We had sooo many heavy coolers to carry from our tent site to our friends RV site. This really frustrated us as there was plenty of room for our car and we had paid just like everyone else. We needed to coo

Good place...bathrooms very clean, quiet place. We did arrive about an hour before the official check in and were charged20.00.We could understand if the park was full but there were lots of spots. We were also disappointed that the store had nothing on the shelves.....very unlike koa campgrounds that we have stayed at in the past.

Nice play for a quick stay. Tent site was very close to RV sites and did not provide a lot of privacy, No pool as it was closed. Would have liked to know in advance of booking. Only one washroom a little far of a walk to get to. Probably not to return if visiting this area. look for other camp grounds

Our stay was good. The park was nice. I walked through with my dog. We were in a motor home but I thought the tent section was amazing. I would have loved to be in that section. I wish they did on-site pick up of garbage. I found the recycling bins to be overflowing. Overall it was a nice quiet campground and I would go back.

We had a great stay at the KOA, site L2 was more than we could ask for. Thanks

This was our 12 year in a row at the KOA. Our family enjoyed their self again. If I could make some friendly suggestions, staff need to be friendlier . There’s never any conversation to see if things are going ok. I think having the potted flowers around really makes the park look summery ! We really liked the limited amount of people in the pool, that would be a great idea to continue.

Camp ground very clean. It rained most of our time there so we were limited to what we could do. Also with covid it limits what you can do as there was no planned activities. Would choose different site next time as I found it was small and under a apple tree. No beach closes one 1/2 hr away. We would return to this campsite or another KOA for sure.

Awesome stay thank you for the fully functional and prompt service! Clean sites and well maintained!

We had stayed here three nights during 2021 Civic Long weekend to explore Owen Sound and George Bay... What I like this KOA is it is located on Bruce Trail, so people can go hiking from their camping sites:)...

The campground site is mud everywhere. The fire wood (12$ per bag) is wet and does not produce a good fire, just turns into charcoal. Not aged at all. Fore has to be out by 11pm, so basically they give you a bed time. Pool is only allowed to be used for 45 minutes per day. Store is empty. No supplies or food, no attention to upkeep.

We had a great time. Love the pool and access to the fantastic hiking.

We were quite disappointed in a response we got about the Canadian flag. We saw the KOA flags and the American flag flying high but no Canadian flag. We were told that oh yes there is a Canadian flag flying out front but there was only 3 KOA flags out at the front of the property.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We had a Canada Flag started from May, unfortunately, Our Canada Flag was damaged by a thunderstorm a week before, We do have a BC and Ontario Flag flying .A whole new Canada Flag arrive a few days ago and we put it back on, we are sorry about that.

Our sites got changed but the ones were moved to were awesome. They had cement patios with table, chairs, a couple of adirondack chairs and a well built fire pit. We hope to book these sites again for next year!

This was the worst KOA I have ever stayed at. Rules changed on visitor policies depending who you asked, the pool was closed on random days of the week, the office/store was closed at 6pm during peak camping season, the facilities were dirty and not well stocked, toilets didn't work properly and the staff were not helpful and rude. In general if you are thinking of staying here - DON'T!!!

We went tent camping and we were very pleased with the location as well as all the amenities that were offered. It is a pet friendly campground and we loved seeing other people's dogs. It is a very quiet place at night and we slept well. The lady at the desk was very nice and had a great sense of humor. We will stay there again if we ever go back to Owen Sound.

Your playground needs some attention. The ladders wood was broken and a partial spring was sticking out of the ground very dangerous.
Aug 02, 2021
Electriity are not good we had to ask for a booster even that it was not good anough. The road to get to the camping is far and not asphaltes and are full of big rock that it could get between our tires of our motorhome. The kids ride their bike and play in the park very late at night.

The 30 amp was not powerful enough , not as advertised! The owners tried to be helpful but it didn’t solve our problem, and we were there for two weeks, very disappointed.

Beautiful large campsites with cedar privacy fences. Neat and tidy. Easy to get a large trailer in! Long gravel driveway was the only down side to this campground. (Since we have motorcycles).

We had a great stay! Friendly staff, nicely kept grounds and a great location for doing day trips. Right on the Bruce Trail too. The only thing that needed improvement was that our site (#28) was a low spot and just never dried out (mucky). We were there for a week and only had 2 rainfalls. Otherwise, it was sunny and other sites were dry. I’d definitely go back again though.

The site was beautiful and private, missed the normal KOA services that we have become used to from other KOA’s like taking you to your site when you check in, garbage pick up at your site, delivery of wood to your site, the things that you normally get at a KOA which are able to be done safely even in a pandemic.

Lieu de transition bien localisé, je n’y passerais pas plus que 1-2 jours.
Jul 31, 2021
The road into the park was either a dustbowl or a mud path. Roads inside the park were the same. The website indicated that WiFi was available but failed to mention that it cost $10 a day for the service. When we tried to sign up for the service we were met with one frustration after another and couldn’t log in. TV reception very limited, no cable offered.

A Canadian flag should be flying at this campground. You are not in the USA! KOA being an American company does not mean the US flag should fly in Canada. Someone took our 4x7 ft mat while we were out of the park one day. Campers are not usually thieves!

K03 just needs the firepit moved. It's too close to the road and not much greenspace room around it like the other cabins. Pool was awesome and staff were very friendly and fair about the rules. Example letting us know why our hammock needed moving instead of just telling us to move it.

My family and I have booked KOA trips for multiple years now and love this location. We recently had booking problems and Tommy helped us reserve a cabin after hours and was overall very helpful

Very specious for a KOA. Very welcoming and accommodating. The sites are spotless: no sign of thrash (the classic in the fire ring). Very quiet at night. Felt very safe.

We frequent KOA locations across North America. This is our first time here. We found it to be beautiful, very clean, and the attendants were very pleasant and welcoming. We did a lot of hiking through the national parks within this area so this KOA was in a perfect location to set as a base camp.
