Shop, dine, golf and fish in Owen Sound, 2 miles away. Relax on a ferry ride through the Fathom Five National Marine Park islands, where glass-bottom boats pass over shipwrecks and unusual rock formations. Use the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun ferry to travel farther north. Take advantage of KOA's heated saltwater pool, game room, playing fields, picnic shelter and lots of running and biking room. Ways to Stay

At Owen Sound KOA Journey, we offer many ways to stay so campers can have their desired camping experience. We have you covered, whether you plan to stay in an RV, cabin or tents.

RV Camping in Owen Sound: Park your camper at one of the Pull-Thru or Back-In RV Sites for a comfortable and cozy stay. They have 50, 30, 20 or 15 amp connections. The sites also either have full hookups or water and electric hookups. Some sites also provide you with a KOA Patio® and furniture, giving you more room to spread out. If you want more privacy, stay at one of the more secluded sites on the campground.

Traditional Cabin Camping: If you have no RV, stay in one of the Camping Cabins. The lodgings offer you a traditional camping experience but with comfortable beds and electricity. There is no bathroom. When you want to spend time outside your cabin, you can take advantage of the picnic table and firepit at your campsite. Enjoy meals at the table and gather around the fire at night to chat or tell ghost stories.

Grey Bruce Peninsula Tent Camping: Sleep under the stars while surrounded by the sounds of nature when you camp at one of the Tent Sites. All sites are pet-friendly. If you want more comfort, stay at a site with water and electric hookups. For more rustic experiences, camp at a site without hookups.

Fathom Five National Marine Park

The deep and sparkling waters at the mouth of Georgian Bay are home to Fathom Five - Canada's first National Marine Conservation Area. The park preserves a rich cultural legacy that includes 22 shipwrecks and several historic lightstations. Fathom Five's freshwater ecosystem contains some of the most pristine waters of the Great Lakes. Bruce Trail

The Bruce Trail Association is a charitable, membership-based volunteer organization working to preserve public access to the Niagara Escarpment while restoring its natural habitat. The Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and longest footpath, provides the only public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
