Awesome place to stay only one comment would be that the store hours be alittle more flexible and work on wifi...

Beautiful Park. Very busy. However, we could not access the satellite because of the beautiful trees. No TV for 5 days? Internet was OK.

Nice amenities basket ball hoop, playground, pool and paddle boats they do need a few more docks or shore line built up for fishing but Lewis and Clark is just right on the other side of it so not far. I've never seen bathrooms so clean before even at stores this one was super nice no mold or stains showers were nice and white. Lots of trees for shade

Stayed 3 days in tent site. Weekend days Lake very busy. Week days kids camp play music 0730 hrs to 0800 hrs. Typically very quiet. Spent most our time setting at pool or at site reading. Great place!

The location is beautiful, but the sites are extremely tight. Neighbors sewage and water hookups on our seating area, and our awning almost touched their camper.

Very nice campground.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

At check in was very rude to all employees, obviously unhappy before arrival.

Helpful host nice park

WiFi was basically non existent. And the only booze in the camp store was Bud products and local wine. Otherwise it was fine.

After hours check in went very smoothly. The location was awesome. It was convenient to interstate yet far enough away to not have the traffic noise. Serene setting with the lake. Place was clean and could not ask for anything to be nicer.

Facilities, setting and staff were wonderful. We were just passing through but may plan a longer stay next time.

Nice, clean, quiet, friendly.

We rented cabin #3 and really enjoyed the view of the beautiful lake! It's the closest to the bathrooms too! The staff was great and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool, playground, dock area and the kids liked the tricycle bikes they could drive all over. It felt safe and was quiet at night. Only suggestion is that they get a light fixture at the pool so it can stay open longer than 8pm.

Beautiful location and spacious sites.
Jul 23, 2016
It was nicely maintained and had a peaceful and nice view. Although we could only spend 1 night I would have stayed longer if our time allowed it.

You need better fishing spots
Jul 22, 2016
Great campground to stop along the way when we are headed west. Little tight for big rigs!

A clean campground but had to deduct two stars. One for the dangerous cliff over the lake. Beware with kids. The other for the the store overstocked with beer.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your recent stay, as new owners we are addressing the shoreline issue but it takes time. As far as the store stock goes we have more of other items in the store for sale than beer, so not true. Not sure how in the store stock affected your stay.

We only stayed one night but it is marked in my camping ledger to return when we can say longer.

Jul 20, 2016
Whole campground was very well maintained, bathroom was spotless. We really liked our lakeside sight #75. They offered a very nice discount for fireman. We appreciated that very much. Staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you for a nice place to stay.

Love the view from our site overlooking the lake
Jul 18, 2016
Great place to stay. Friendly staff.
Jul 17, 2016
Isolated area. Nothing around but the lake which is pretty but difficult to access & I saw no one swimming in it ... ??? There is a pool which was in use. It was deserted when I was there so hard to judge but peaceful :)
Jul 17, 2016
Beautiful campground, view of the lake, and amazing sunset. I wish I would have realized that my tent would be no match for the storm that swept through the area. With the impending storm coming, I think it might have been a great opportunity for the staff to up-sell us into one of the cabins. By the time the storm passed, the office was closed, and my son and I spent the night in the car.

We stayed in the non-lakefront cabin. You can see the water from the cabin when you sit on the porch swing. There is a picnic table, grill, and fire pit with grate. Clean and well-maintained. Nowhere at the camp to go down to the lake except for the dock, but about a mile drive away is the Lewis and Clark state park, with free entry, a few hiking trails, mini-museum, and a sandy swimming beach.
Jul 13, 2016
We stayed by the lake and it was the best site ever!
Jul 13, 2016
I wish the office opened at 8 & closed at 9.
Jul 12, 2016
The sites were very close to each other. The back door to our RV opened nearly on top of the sewer for the site next to us. Our awning almost touched the RV next to us.
