Extremely friendly staff, clean facility. Staff went above and beyond, even finding us at the lake to ask if we would need firewood. Location is incredible.

3 day stay in our TT with a full service site, great view, grounds were spotlessly clean, owners working very hard to provide a great experience despite the current COVID-19 restrictions. Good location to base camp for touring the Cabot Trail and parts of Cape Breton, very convenient for the Newfoundland ferry.

The campsite is very clean and laid out very well. The staff were excellent and helpful. One minor complaint was the internet however I was able to overcome this. If you have Dish satellite service you can connect here. Swimming was excellent as well.

We had a wonderful week at KOA North Sydney! It is a well kept, well run campground. Our hosts were accommodating, friendly and helpful. We especially loved the view over the Bras d'or Lake and the Seal Island Bridge. We will be back.

The host and hostess were very welcoming. I did find the grounds untidy and not well kept. There was a lot of construction equipment in view. The recycling building was very well kept.

The owners are very engaged and do everything possible to make your visit the best it can be. The campground is clean, well laid out and pleasant, with lovely views of the Bras d'Or lakes and bridge. We will definitely visit again.

The family feel,and friendly owners were amazing,I felt like I had been camping there for a lifetime,fantastic location and view, sites were clean and perfectly level,and I will return again soon and have already recommended to many family and friends!

No outside lighting. Campgroung very dark other than car lights from bridge. Fire pits are on the side of the road and if you move them you will be charged 100.00 .Owners/operators very friendly and accomadating.

Hands down the staff were wonderful. We felt they cared. The campground is in a good location. We very fortunate to have lots of space as it was not busy. A suggestion, coming into the campground across from the office is a space that appears to have a mix of trailers, supplies, etc. It might be more welcoming to have a fence to his that area.

Great place to camp. Lots of places to explore nearby and very close to the highway for travelling. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a campground! Owners were exceptional and I will recommend to Others!

We had a wonderful stay at the KOA at North Sydney. Jay and Bonnie, the owners , were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. We had a great site for our 5th wheel. We plan to return for another stay sometime this camping season.

Loved the location! The staff was amazing. We liked the spot we had and enjoyed the view. The camp wasn't as clean as we like, but overall it was great.

Very friendly and helpful staff. My only concern, not really a complaint, was that their camp guidelines said quite time was start at 10 pm and 2 nights in a row the neighbors next door played loud music and lots of loud laughter until almost midnight. We assumed it would be address after the first night but it wasn’t.

This is our 2nd time staying at this campground. It's convenient to the ferry that travels to & from Newfoundland. The campsites offer a wonderful view. Everything is clean & well maintained. The customer service is excellent. The next time we travel to Newfoundland, we'll definitely stay here again. And if we are going to be traveling in Nova Scotia, we will stay here for a longer period of time.

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. We had a large pull through site. The hosts were very accommodating. Bathroom facilities were very clean. This was our second visit and we will return next year.

The hosts at the KOA were great! It was our first visit to that area of Canada, and Jason and Bonnie (KOA hosts) were great in providing directions. The KOA was located in a prime location for us. Thank you for assistance in all our needs.

We spent two nights at a site on the upper tier. It provided us a great view and amazing sunrises. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, we were shown available sites and got to pick the one we preferred. The washrooms closest to the office were very clean, including the showers. There is laundry facilities but we did not use them. However, we did check them out and they looked good. There is also a building with fitness equipment. Similar to the laundry, check it out, did not use, looked good. We were traveling with our small dog. The campground is very dog friendly. There is even a small off leash area. Enjoyed our time here and are planned to spend a few more nights on the back end of our vacation.

The only "bad" thing I can say about this park is that we've never been able to spend more than one night. Great location, clean amd great service.
