Bonnie was very accommodating when we had to leave our spot to get new tires on the trailer. When we came back they upgraded us and gave us a really nice spot for our last night. The facilities were very clean, plenty of machines for laundry. We will definitely stay there again.

Cabin was very nice. Mattresses on the beds are so cold, winter sheets or a thick blanket is a must to cover mattresses. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pet friendly was a bonus for my aging old doggy. No pool or swiming access suitable for children was a big down fall. No rec hall or activities were available. The kids were a little disappointed in the playground area. Not much there.

We reserved our site online through KOA app. Owners called us on check-in date to ensure we were en route so they’d look out for us. Once checked-in, we were escorted to our campsite and offered setup assistance. Washrooms were immaculately clean. Great park, courteous service.

The host was friendly and very accommodating. We had a wonderful stay. We were late booking the site so we didn’t have a great view. So next visit we will book earlier. We will recommend the KOA to family and friends.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms,beautiful views. Cons: Expensive laundry that didn’t wash/rinse well enough and needed 2xdrying (cost $3.00 each time), steep hills and tight space to back up, lack of hand soap in mens washrooms, WiFi worked only close to office, water pressure was lost if too many using at same time.

Our second time there. Great location to do the Cabot Trail. 30 AMP power was not very good. Most days we only had 108 Volts, no enough to run air condition, microwave conviction, or washing machine individually.. We did get up early 7AM and there was not many others using power and we could run our washing machine. Parks are not keeping up with the need of power as they add more sites.

We had a double view site. It was a great site, lots of room and a reasonable view of Bar De Ors. Great location for access to Baddeck, The Cabot Trail and Sydney.

This is a wonderful campground. All staff are professional and extremely helpful. Buildings are clean, and the grounds are well kept. We were coming in late on the Ferry from Newfoundland - I called to advise the campground, and was told, "No Problem" - they stayed open late and waited for our arrival. We were so grateful!

First time at a campground with our two young children and we loved the deluxe cabine/lodge. Our children loved the playground, mini putt, the bunk beds and campfires at night. The lodge was clean, spacious and met all our needs. We will definitely recommend to family/friends and we will be back again! Thank you

Very nice KOA located in close proximity to the Cabot Trail. Bathrooms were clean and had enough counter space. There was a laundry area too. It had a cute little mini putt area and to take out a canoe, it was free! The hosts Bonnie and her husband were extremely friendly and accommodating. This is a very nice KOA and we will stay again if we make it out to that end of the country again!!!

The staff went out of there way to welcome us and did everything to accommodate our requests. Great place to stay if taking a ferry to the Island. I had a brake problem that when being put into our site the staff pointed it out. Thank you so much for all the help.

Beautiful views, Very helpful owners. Sites were very tightly packed and narrow which made parking difficult. No swimming pool. Washrooms clean. Poor conditions for laundry as a couple of machines out of order and not cleanCabins have no fridges as what you come to expect from KOA. Owner offered the use of her plug in cooler which was very appreciated. Water pressure on our site was so very poor.

Extremely nice and accomodating owners, facility is a little tired and in need of investment, our site was not fit for a Motorhome with a slide as the ground is massively uneven and being there was zero room between us and the trailers beside us we had no room to adjust the RV.

The campground is very well kept by the owner . Showers are spotless and grounds are well kept. You are driven right to your site so there is no confusion. They work very hard here to make sure your stay is a good one ! That’s why we chose to stay here again.

We were there for one night. The stay was wonderful but would have preferred to be in one of the larger sites that were empty all night instead of being squished into the one we had. Would go there again.

Owners are great and very accomodating. The only suggestion is that they pay a bit more attention to the grounds, grass cutting, trimming and the store is unorganized and not appealing. First impressions could be better with a little attention.

Lovely site, quiet and clean. Our hosts were extraordinarily friendly, helpful and gracious. A pool would have given it 10 stars but we were really too tired to swim anyways!! Thank you for a lovely, restful stay.

We spent two nights at a site on the upper tier. It provided us a great view and amazing sunrises. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, we were shown available sites and got to pick the one we preferred. The washrooms closest to the office were very clean, including the showers. There is laundry facilities but we did not use them. However, we did check them out and they looked good. There is also a building with fitness equipment. Similar to the laundry, check it out, did not use, looked good. We were traveling with our small dog. The campground is very dog friendly. There is even a small off leash area. Enjoyed our time here and are planned to spend a few more nights on the back end of our vacation.

The only "bad" thing I can say about this park is that we've never been able to spend more than one night. Great location, clean amd great service.
