The park is a very nice park. The only issue is the water pressure. It's way to low.

The staff made sure we had everything we needed. They even warned us about their high water pressure. The sites were a little small but were adequate for our needs. It's pretty close to an interstate highway, so it's best if you aren't a light sleeper.

Great sites and nice employees. Exceptional playground and pool. Nice dog park. We stayed twice in the month of June while traveling and will stay there again.

Very accommodating for a motorcyclist. Gravel can be difficult on 2 wheels but was able to traverse via the grass for positioning. THANK YOU! Bathroom was clean too, tho a shelf for dry clothes would be nice in the shower area.

Stayed in a upper tier site could be a little more level but all was good with blocks. Nice for the overnight stay. Good water pressure�

This was a stop along the way home for us rather than an intended destination. The employees here couldn't have been more kind or accommodating. Very nice pool and all the facilities were clean. They also offer pizza and wings which was a nice perk after traveling a long distance!!

The site is spacious and staff are friendly. The biggest drawback is lack of shaded spots. Maybe we'll come back when the trees grow in.

The highway noise is just too much. The amenities were great, no complaints about the store or the campsite itself. Just a consequence of where it is!

I specifically stayed there so I could go to see the Des Moines state capital where I had a picture taken in 1967. Campground was great. Enjoyed to see all the activities available especially for the kids, lake fishing, pool, train rides and playground. I liked the tiered sites. Good views. Site could have been a bit more level.

Site 21 we were in was fine until it rained. The next morning the side where the hookups are was just a muddy mess. I couldn't avoid the mud to disconnect my camper. I spent about an hour and a half cleaning up my hoses and electrical cord just to be able to put them back in the camper. The spot needed grass on both sides of the site.

This Campground is very well maintained! They offer Wi-Fi, Cable TV, and have a Pool. A good place to stop on your road journey!!

The worst KOA we have ever stayed at. The sights were so close together and unlevel. Noise from I-80 is so loud, we could hear it with the AC on.

Everything was fine, here. Only stayed 1 night. The only thing is the noise from the freeway. I could hear it pretty much all night.

Friendly staff, a little noisy but it is close to an interstate. Sites are close, but it wasn't too busy, so they did a good job of spreading us out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. Jeff Adams helped us so much with everything, from making sure we were good when the weather got rough, Propane when we didn't have a vehicle, Too many deliveries to count and more. Thank you Jeff!!! As for the facility, The grounds are always very clean and nice, We really enjoyed the hiking trail. The upstairs showers and laundry facilities were always very clean. I could not imagine a better stay. I would give more stars if I could.

We have been staying at the KOA for a couple of months. All the staff go above and beyond to meet your needs. Great place for summer with the kiddos too. We have stayed at a few campgrounds since we bought our camper and this one has been the best by far. Laundry facilities, outhouse and bathrooms are always clean.
