I believe that there should be a snack bar, or ice cream or something open before Memorial Day. The park is full. While we love it there, there should be more things open.

Great campground, would (will) stay again. Not far from stuff to do. Only concern was water pressure is low and when we pulled out Sunday morning not enough to take a morning shower.

The cabin we stayed in was very clean, very well kept up on, and the campground itself was wonderful. There was plenty to do for the little one, and the staff was absolutely amazing!! We are planning for another stay in the fall, and can’t wait to come back!

It's a nice well kept campground. The staff was friendly and professional. The sites are very close to each other and not much room between to spread out. My site had an older outlet box and the 20 amp outlet didn't work. When I called to have it fixed, the technician told me that prior users fried the outlet and instead of fixing it, they swapped the 20 and 30 amp breakers. Needs a new box.

We had a wonderful stay at the Newburgh KOA Holiday this past weekend. The place was clean & orderly, check in was a breeze, the store had everything you could possibly need onsite, & there was plenty of activities to keep the kids busy all day while making friends! A special shout out to Carolyn whose arts and crafts, pinata, & cheering during karaoke were the highlight of our trip. Thanks KOA

Great staff! Such an easy going place some slots are tight for bigger campers but you make the best of it. Ran into old friends who work here this season, there daughter is absolutely amazing! If you’re kids are ever bored and they need someone to hangout with i highly recommend her, very sweet, honest and a great camping friend she’ll be there all season.

Stay and facilities are all fine. HOWEVER, the fact that none of the merchandise in the store has any prices on it. It's a pain to find out what the price of something that catches your eye is. Especially if there is only one person working in the store and is on the phone or checking in a new arrival.

Site assigned was too difficult to get to and exit from for the size of my rig, due to tightness of turns, trees along roads. Size of my fifth wheel was provided when reserved. When leaving site, it was discovered that overhead wires were too low for me to pass. Needed assistance from other guest to support wires to avoid them catching on air conditioners, satellite dish, roof vents and ladder.

It had been a rainy week, and our site had poor drainage. The back half or our site was covered with 1"+ of water, including around the water, sewer and electric hookups. I raised the issue with management, they expressed concern. I believe the issue will be addressed.

We always enjoy our many stays at Newburgh Koa! We were a bit disappointed that the front desk did not honor the buy one get one free night coupon that was mailed to us. I made our reservation in January prior to the receiving the mailing, so obviously couldn’t use the code .

Despite the rain, our stay was great. We really enjoyed the music in the tent on Saturday night and feel it would have yielded better results if it was advertised better. Very dissapointed that there is no more rock climbing wall or snack bar/ice cream. Our kids really look forward to both in the summer.

Excellent service, personnel sympathique; mon protecteur de surtension a indiqué un problème avec la prise de 50 AMP; J'ai utilisé la prise de 30 AMP qui était correcte. Il y a beaucoup d'arbres et il est impossible de circuler sans toucher à certaines branches, ce qui peut égratigner le motorisé; il faudrait porter attention à cela;

First, Your General Manager is absolutely incredible and did her best. With that said, this campground experience was also the most stressful experience I've ever had. It was one disaster after another. On top of that, being constantly monitored/confronted by staff was extremely awkward and stressful. Lastly, a staff members child spent literally 9-11 hours with us EVERY day we were there.

Stay was great. Staff was friendly. The only issue was when I went to throw out my garbage the container was overflowing with garbage. On our last day the the sanitation department was there picking up. Will definitely be back.

The garbage was incredible. An invitation for rats. I couldn’t exaggerate how much garbage was spilling over the dumpsters and onto the ground. Pay for an extra garbage pick up

The campground was pretty. Friday night was drunks yelling, fighting and racing golf carts up and down until after midnight. We paid for full hook up but could not drain our black tank because the sewer line was overflowing out onto the ground.

Miss seeing all the smiling faces from seasons past. Most of the staff were friendly but some were also not so friendly. Bathrooms were in much better condition than in the past so that was a plus. As always such a pleasure to see Carol’s smiling face. We love you Carol!! Will be back soon for another trip in the fall.

This was our first visit to a KOA and will not be our last to this one in particular. We spent a week with another camping couple and had an awesome time. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were missing a picnic table. I called the office and figured by the time we set up, which takes us 3 hours min, we are tent glampers so we have a lot of stuff, they would be by. To our surprise they came immediately. It seems the previous campers had moved it to another site. Two young men moved it back, apologized and left. They come by every evening to pick up the trash. The dumpster on the map had been removed. The office staff were always helpful. Now for the "wildlife" There were two extremely large owls who loved to swoop down and startle us. We had a skunk visit us the one night my dear husband didn't put the trash out. The Fox's began crying out in the middle of the night, we didn't know what it was so our friends called the office and a night lady asked them to hold the phone so she could hear it and advised what it was. In the middle of the night, they answer the phone!!!! We had a bird fly into the tent one afternoon but the most annoying flying things were the mosquitoes, they were vicious, they ate me up to the point it was very uncomfortable. We loved the location and the campgrounds and are planning another trip in late May or early June, hopefully before the mosquitoes come comping. The other campers were friendly and respectful. The section we were in had a lot of trees but not so many you can't enjoy the sun. A really nice relaxing experience. Will be back.

We were here Columbus weekend 2020 and we coming back again. What a great campground. Our first time here for Columbus Weekend 2020 and we all had a blast. Kids had also a good time. Halloween theme weekend was good as it gets during these times of Covid19. Lots to do in the area wine tasting or hiking and biking. Place was clean and staff were really nice. We sure are coming back. it was nice listing to the music on weekends with band and dj. 2023- great as always love coming here
