The new dog park is very nice. I did not like that I had to walk behind people sites to get to it. I feel like I am invading peoples space, which I do not like doing. I don't want someone to do it to me, so I felt bad that this was the only way to the dog park. Also wished we had a different site since we use our satellite for tv and a tree was in the way. Liked our stay and will be back

It has been 5 years since our last stay at New Orleans KOA. We must say, it is just as nice, if not nicer, than our 2018 stay. The staff is always welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. The sites are nicely kept, and the campground is loaded with shade trees. We would highly recommend New Orleans KOA, and look forward to our next visit.

I came in for my high school ( MASH of 78) 45th reunion at Jaeger. While in I also was able to see a fellow Marine I served with. The only thing I didn't like, was not enjoying the pool. That would be on me. ���

We enjoyed our stay! The park was super clean! And very inviting! Everyone who works there was very friendly too! They have a shuttle that takes you into New an Orleans so you don’t have to fight the traffic! A great place to stay!

Spent a week here and enjoyed it! Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites are spacious and utilities worked very well (including WiFi). Used onsite pool, showers, laundry room and rec room. All were clean and well maintained. If we’re ever back in the are, we’d definitely stay here again. Many thanks to Deborah, Mike, Chad, Doreen and David for your hospitality!

Superb and responsive staff. My family really enjoyed the pool and playground. The store is well stocked with a good variety of items. If I ever go to New Orleans again I will definitely stay at the KOA

My interactions with all the KOA folk was superb!! When my questions could not be directly answered, a more knowledgeable person was located. A special thanks to the gentleman who advised my “grease in vs. zero fitting” issue.

Nice urban RV park. Close to all the great stuff in New Orleans. They have a van to shuttle guests for a nominal fee ( well worth the shuttle). Would stay here again.

The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. I highly reccomend the shuttles to take you downtown (leave your car in the campground). All of the major plantations are with a short drive from the campground. If you come in the summer, make a stop at Sonney's Ice Cream (open 3 - 9 daily) on your way back from the plantations on 3437 Florida Ave, Kenner LA (1.3 miles from the campground).

Sehr angenehme Athmosphäre und aufmerksames Personal. Von der nahen Eisenbahn tönen morgens unüberhörbare Signale herüber. Unser Platz war noch etwas baustellenhaft (Katrina?) beeinträchtigt. Der Pool ist angenehm. Besonders gut gefiel uns der Shuttle in's Zentrum , der schon fast eine Stadtrundfahrt ersetzte. NICHT NACH GPS FAHREN, nach den KOA-Anweisungen zum Platz fahren!

This was by far our best KOA, we have stayed at. They went above helping you and were all friendly to customers and each other. All staff members were helpfull and constantly working to improve and repair anything. All service areas, showers, laundry, office were clean and well taken care of. Would recommend this KOA to anybody coming to New Orleans. Great place to visit and relax. Loved our stay

Very nice place, Very nice work crew. Great location. Close to Church and grocery store. Office staff helped us to get our tickets for Natchez boat through Grey Line Tours. We have family in Metarie and always have a great visit. Our fur babies always have a great vacation at KOA. Best campground in the New Orleans area.

Beautiful campground and wonderful hosts. They are currently upgrading the park and I’m sure it will be amazing. Bathrooms and laundry were clean.

This is the CLEANEST KOA we have ever been to. The staff were wonderful and friendly! We would definitely stop here again if we are in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Friendly staff. Campsites are roomy. There are no pull throughs, but staff assist with guiding you into the sites.

We were very happy with KOA All the employees, Dave, Chad, and Dolores are fantastic. The shuttle driver, Greg, was an excellent guide as we drove to downtown New Orleans

Our recent stay was the second time at this campground. It is small, clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. We do not tow, so we rely on the local transit systems to get into and around the city. It works seamlessly!! We will continue to stay here anytime we are coming to the NOLA area. To anyone considering this campground…Don’t hesitate to stay here!!

We have been staying at KOA West for 20-25 years. We have stayed at all of the other area RV parks at one time or another, but for our purposes, KOA West has them hands down! May not be the fanciest place, but it is stable and reliable!

The park is clean and quiet. The staff in the office and all staff are simply amazing. They are friendly, helpful and go above and beyond anything we have seen in other campgrounds. Thank you all for doing such an amazing job. We will be back.

Fantastic Campground!! The shuttle is the best deal in town. The staff are phenomenal, everything is clean, laundry was great, grills and fire pits for tent rental (delivered and picked up at site) and exceptional wi-fi. We added an extra day the next morn due to the great benefit this site offers. There is some noise from train/plane traffic - but I slept well even being moderately noise sensitive and I have experienced much worse road noise at other KOAs. I would gladly stay here again.

Our Family had a Blast during Easter week. The KOA Family are SUPER nice people the park is spotless. We used the shuttle all week 10:30 drop off and 5:15 pickup. The Easter Parade was Great. Definitely will be back. One more thing: Dots Dinner walking distance the milk shakes are great.

I came in as a long time resident. I was so elated and excited about the welcoming I received from every last one of the staff that lived on the grounds. The amenities are endless; super clean laundry room with really affordable machines, ironing table, folding table, a/c and tv. Even had rockers sitting outside to just enjoy the fresh air if you choose. Nice and clean pool. a building for private showers and restrooms. It's amazing. Let's not forget the shuttle that takes you to the Grench Quarters. Ask for Ms. Doreen, she is one of my favorites.
