The park is wonderful and the staff are great, but the management is homophobic, which is ultimately why we chose to end our stay and move to a different park.

This is one of the best KOA Campgrounds we have had the pleasure of visiting. The Staff is superb. Always there to assist us in every way. Ample room between the sites. Very clean. Highly recommend a stay at this wonderful KOA in New Bern, North Carolina.

We absolutely love the New Bern KOA. The property is well maintained. The bathroom facilities are clean. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Being on the river is a plus. We actually made reservations to come back 2 more times while we were there.

Wonderful campsite. Our site, next to the pond, was such a nice surprise. Great views of the pond and nearby Neuse River.

An awesome place to stay. The staff is great and was always very helpful. We will definitely be back to the KOA New Bern. 3 more trips planned this year.

Sight was a little small especially if you have a pet. And don't do a buddy site unless with a friend. We were beside a falling down drunk. And that is literally.

The staff were super helpful. We ended up having to cut our trip short by a night for a family matter and the staff refunded that night without us asking. We will definitely be back. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Also everyone was super friendly.

Appreciated easy checkin & guidance to space. Nice bathrooms with showers & looked like plenty of things to keep kids busy.

This is a fine KOA. The facilities are good, and the grounds are nice. There are so many employees, and they keep the place clean. I am rating it a 4 rather than 5 star because the staff is clearly just doing their job.

This is the friendliest, nicest campground we have stayed in. There were many employees and they were available for help. The employees were constantly cleaning and picking up.

Loved our site #24, exactly where I prayed we would be located! (Close to the restroom!) We have tented, have have done cabin rental and this time was a stay in the pop up. Staff is always friendly and helpful and the grounds are always so well kept and clean. Would be hard to find anything to complain about. Great activities for the kids as well and store is always stocked with what we need.

The only suggestion I have is to mark some of the roads as One Way. There were an unusual number of vehicles driving up and down the rows this weekend.

Grounds are lovely and clean, staff was pleasant HOWEVER our site was half way from check in to the other side of the campground and we had zero wifi. The check in text says if you need assistance, text this number. We texted and never got a response. Our neighbor also had no wifi. The park is small, you advertise having wifi, it was non existent during our stay of four days.

Great KOA! Been staying/ using KOA for years. Member started in 2005. NewBern KOA is always clean and up to date. The staff is always very helpful We keep coming back each and will be in 2024.

Nice place, friendly staff. Fun for the kids. They goofed on our reservation that we had for 6 months and split some of our group up for no reason the day before. But beyond that it was an enjoyable experience.

The site was a horrible fit for us. Not only was it short for 38’ but we had no room to have a campfire without being close to the campers. Also you should warn people it backs to jump pit. I did not find it relaxing. In fact we could really never sit outside without screaming kids. Additionally the hours were not adhered to. Kids were on equipment at night and the inflatable went up before

What a great campground. I loved the small feel of it. The water views were amazing and you want to talk about customer service??? This campground is the very best KOA we have ever stayed at, and I have been to many! They deserve to win best campground every year!

From the second I was greeted until we left, everyone was friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and laid out well. Being along the waterfront is really beautiful, too. We’ll be back when the weather is better to enjoy it more. I like that they text you reminders of events, last call for firewood, etc.

All though we had alot of rain this place was great. The staff were excellent. They were actitivies for families and always above and beyond to help with any needs you had. The staff made our visit very warm, homely and felt very welcomed. We had a great time and a wonderful experience even in the not so best weather conditions.

As always, my wife and I enjoyed our stay in the cabin. We were a little surprised to find a small snake in the cabin upon arrival. Upon calling, the KOA staff promptly came and got the snake out. They said it was their first experience at disposing a snake from inside a cabin. We did not let this spoil our enjoyment and we will visit New Bern KOA again.

They offer RV dump station for a fee! Very clean and accommodating. Beautiful and situated in the Neuse River. They have both RV sites and cabins

My family and I had the most amazing time at this KOA in New Bern! The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and ALL truly Amazing. The Saturday before we left they had a bunch of activities for the kids! They have a play ground with a jump pad. They have a big laundry room, four washers and four dryers. They have WiFi, and trash pickup. We stayed at one of the pull through sites with a patio and the view was so beautiful. The grill was so nice to use and the landscaping was kept nice! You can fish and rent canoes to use at the river. We had a amazing time fishing!! We really hated to leave, but can't wait to come back!!!
