This is the nastiest KOA that we have ever stayed at. The bathrooms have never been cleaned good. There is so much black mould and hair in the shower and sand on the floor. There was poop in the middle of the bathroom floor one night. Disgusting!

We’ve been coming here every summer for 7 years and I have never been this disappointed and regretful that this is where we chose to stay. From showing up to a cabin not cleaned @ $250/night to Buoy’s being closed the entire trip, to the pool being closed for an entire day. Enjoyed our Myrtle stay, the pool kept being closed for chemicals which makes it hard for kids on hot days. Enjoyed trash pick up and workers were nice and pleasant.

Great location, staff were friendly and helpful. Two items that would make it better. The showers need to be cleaned more often and more thoroughly. The second is the return shuttle from the beach, it never seemed to arrive when it was supposed to.

Nice people, great pool, close to the beach, cabin was perfect, free coffee…. And again, friendly welcoming staff. We loved coming back at night to the friendly wave and “welcome back” �

The experience this KOA gave us was an excellent experience my kids enjoyed the pools and the pillow bounds and the travel to the beach only 3 min away and you provided shuttle to and from the beach I love it thanks

The cabin, golf cart and overall stay was fine. However the men’s restroom was terrible. It was disgusting. There was writing on the walls that my 10 year old pointed out that was highly inappropriate. We stay at multiple KOAS throughout the year and this was the first time we have experienced a disgusting bathhouse.

I’ve been to a few KOA’s lately. My cabin was a lot smaller than it was made to look online. The loft area anybody that’s over 4 feet tall will not fit or be able to move around up there without crawling. Your housekeeping is less than desirable. My overall experience of the Myrtle Beach KOA is, I’ll never come back. Not enough room to register my complaints.

We stayed on site #349. Positives: great site!, friendly staff, good laundry facility. Negatives: bath house was way too far away (no shower facilities on our side of the lake), completely outdated, and not clean! We stay at KOA's because of the standard of care. Myrtle Beach KOA did not meet this standard of care. Very disappointed. Also, the office and store closes at 4pm.

Check in was easy for a RV site. The pool and chairs were clean. My only complaint would be the bathroom and shower stalls need to be painted.

Drinks at the KOA store were not only overpriced but they were even more expensive than the price on the shelf. They would not honor their shelf pricing. The pool stayed way too warm and way too dirty. Other than that it was a good stay with full hook ups which is always nice.

I thought I had reserved a wood spot, but perhaps not. The grass site was overgrown at the utilities and lots of trash (bottle tops and wrappers). However staff was friendly, a lot of activity going on for families!

Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. Cable in the master bedroom didn’t work. Cabin floor wasn’t swept when we got there. Found 2 cockroaches in the cabin during our stay. Pool was nice. Staff was friendly

This was the dirtiest Campground I've ever been at. The picnic table was infested, even after cleaning it and using a tablecloth it was covered in multiple kinds of bugs. We couldn't eat outside because flies completely covered your food within 2 minutes. The floors were disgusting as well as the front door. Requested a power washer, they never came with it. Absolutely horrible conditions!!!

Having never been at this KOA it was awesome ! The camping sights were beautiful with unexpected space and like a fairytale setting with tree cover from hot sun. We have a motorhome 40ft and absolutely loved our stay.

It was great! The staff was awesome! My kids and grandson loved the pool, jumping pad, and fishing. We also enjoyed renting a golf cart. That made it so much easier to get to the pool,beach, and stores. The only reason I put a 4 because the bathhouses need some painting or up dating.

it was a great place to set up a tent for a couple of days, it's walking distance to the beach. It's in a great area and I enjoyed my stay!

Campground is nice and as long as you don’t need to use the bathhouse it’s fine. Bathhouse is dated and was pretty nasty.

When I reserved the cabin I made it clear I needed to be close to my sisters cabin. I was told we would be back to back. We were not she was 8cabins down from me. And the bathroom was even farther. The cabin inside was the only thing that met my expectations. Wi-Fi did not work the whole week. So it was pointless to bring my flat screen I brought. Every morning when I showered it was ice cold.

Terrible this was our first and hopefully our last stay at a KOA to many people kids driving golf carts 100mph everywhere all hours of the night never stayed at a campground where the police showed up and still no clue why amenities were nice but to many people to enjoy any of them lady at check in was super nice but that all I can say Myrtle Beach KOA was NOT a good experience

Check in was relatively smooth. Cabin was clean and ready with air conditioning on. They had most necessary amenities except conditioner and body wash was out. With a 4 night stay and 2 adults and 2 children there was plenty of room. There was an issue with cockroaches. And to do laundry after 4pm you better have bills smaller than a $20 or you will have a lot of quarters. All around a good stay.

Wonderful spots for camping, amenities and great customer service. Unfortunately we had a family emergency and had to leave early. But overall it was a great stay.

We stays on a waterfront back in deluxe patio site. Great view and feeling of privacy. The private patio was the highlight. Nice pool (not heated) to quickly cool off in the heat. About 4 blocks from downtown. We rented a golf cart for one day and enjoyed that as well.
