Enjoy the size of Murphy KOA. The fire rings on the river sites are close to campers and not enough room for family or guest to sit around. Otherwise we love the area. Camp ground staff are accommodating and friendly. Camp area is clean

We had a WONDERFUL time. Matt and Dee were GREAT! The campsite and all of the amenities were perfect. Could not ask for a better place to enjoy our camping. We will definitely go again to Peace Valley.

Perfectly peaceful with warm and friendly faces. We enjoyed our week at this cozy campground so much we have already rebooked. Matt, Dee, and the crew make this place feel inviting. Quiet, lazy days spent by the River, and ice cream in the quaint downtown was enough to bring us back. It is settled in the green of the mountains. Loved it.

If I could rate this higher than a "5" I would! We always enjoy ourselves when we camp here. The staff is so helpful and accomodating!! The sites are very clean and orderly. We always look forward coming back !!

Second time we've stayed there. We just spent 8 very nice days at this sight. It's one of the best kept campgrounds we've stayed at and we have stayed at many. Matt the owner truly loves what he's doing and is an outstanding host. We must compliment Theresa on her fantastic attitude and helpfulness. Murphy KOA is in all ways a "10'.

The staff did a great job placing us in a great spot for our larger rv, told them what we had and they took care of us. Campsite was clean and groomed. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Ours was a quick stay but we found this campground well laid out, very clean and situated near a nice flowing river. We were a late check in but the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Communication was excellent. We have family in the area we extrovert visit frequently.

Really nice campground. Bathhouses and laundry facilities were one of the cleanest I've seen at any campground. The staff was very helpful. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Very pleasant stay. Beautiful setting. Huge dog park. Rustic but very welcoming. Lovely staff especially Dee who goes out of her way to check on you. Very helpful. Matt fixed our TV. Nothing's too much for any of them. Met some lovely campers. River setting and views are gorgeous. We extended our stay and were allowed to keep our site. We were there from March 26th - April 20th. Small, quiet, clean campground located on a stream / river. Sites have more space than a typical KOA. Our site was very long and level. Close to town and Walmart for supplies. A casino is only a mile or two down the road. Rafting opportunities are nearby. There is a riverwalk-style hiking trail nearby in Murphy. OVerall, a good place to stay.

Great camper support. Friendly hosts. Facility is older but well maintained. Site was great, right on the river with full hookup. Traffic noise is noticeable from nearby highway but not not bad. We recommend you stay here. Plenty to do in nearby Murphy, Hayesville and Hiawassee. Only a mile from the Casino if you are in to that.

We loved the 1 acre dog park! Dee was one of the best campground hosts we've experienced in our 15 years visiting KOA campgrounds! We look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful as always. Been going there about 7 or 8 years. Matt the owner and camp hosts are always very accommodating and helpful. If you haven't been you should definitely go. They have trees and a river and huge dog park. Downtown Murphy is minutes away.

7 nights from Good Friday on and as always this place was clean and we'll run. Matt and Dee and great and the "new girl" , can't recall her name was delightful, always super friendly. I will not forget her name after my next trip. Just Love this place!

Had an amazing week at this well maintained KOA campground. We definitely did not want to leave!! Our site was level and backed up to Valley River. It was so beautiful, tranquil and peaceful. Matt (owner) and Dee (host) were nothing short of nice, friendly, accommodating and amazing! Our dog absolutely loved the dog park where he ran his heart out. Thank you for an amazing week, we’ll be back!

We just bought a new camper and needed a close overnight to try out all the features. Host and hostess were so extremely helpful. The dog run area was nice for our dogs to burn off some energy. The river that runs behind the campground was cool too. The only bad thing was the rain but that is no one’s fault.

THE BEST experience we have ever had was had here at the Peace Valley KOA! The staff were SO friendly! Every need was catered to and then some. This organization knows customer service because they live it daily. I highly recommend this KOA to everybody. I can’t say enough! If all KOA locations provide this level of support, I’m a lifetime visitor for sure.

We love going to Murphy/peace. Dee is the best. She is definitely part of our family now. If you want a peaceful and relaxing trip, this is it. We love coming up and going downtown to check out the shops and antique stores. Float down the river or just lay by the pool.

Nice cabin on the water with plenty of room for me, my brother and dog. Pet friendly and easy to find. Nice kitchen with everything you need for a couple of days or longer. Unfortunately the cabin is crammed in between another cabin and an RV site so zero privacy. RV campers next to us leaned their bicycles up against our cabin, ran their motorcycles in the evening and morning in front of the cabin. Total disregard for people next to them. Campfire right next to our window and talking throughout the night loud enough to be heard in the bedroom. It's a shame you can't fix discourteous. KOA staff was amazing and friendly though and the laundry area was clean and the washer and dryer worked well.
