After a career in the hospitality industry, Matt Walters is the excited owner of Murphy/Peace Valley KOA. Originally from Pennsylvania, Matt lived and worked in Southwest Florida for 11 years prior to arriving at Murphy/Peace Valley KOA. Matt sees the true beauty of the Park and looks forward to spending time getting to know each and every guest. "The Campground provides a great atmosphere for everyone to relax and enjoy the pristine surroundings". Murphy/Peace Valley KOA operated for 6 years as Peace Valley Campground and Cabins. Peace Valley was only one of 13 campgrounds to receive "A" ratings for 3 years through Guest Reviews, sponsored by the National Association of Campgrounds and RV Parks. You will see Matt both in the office and around the Campground working to assure a GREAT guest experience. In his off time Matt enjoys playing golf and panning for GOLD in the Valley River.As a KOA campground, Matt is very excited about joining the KOA family. "I constantly think about what I can do to make accommodations and services better, so my returning Campers will find something new to enjoy every time they return. My staff and I want to treat every guest the way we want to be treated", said Matt.
