This was our first trip as trailer owners. We couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience! Beautiful grounds, friendly and helpful staff, along with lots of fun extras made for a great “maiden voyage”. We will definitely be back! Thanks again!

This is a wonderful campground for adults and families. The sites are kept very clean. We love the additional forested play area adjacent to the campground. It has a birding area, mountain bike path, walking path, tree swings, volleyball court, basketball goal. Also the main campground area has a pool and wonderful playground for kids and lawn games for adults and families.

New owners are great. We have always enjoyed camping there. They give out a camping etiquette sheet at check in! I'm thrilled it includes not going through an occupied campsite that is not your own. It's a major pet peeve that I apparently share.

Our campsite was ideal (#13). The grounds are meticulously maintained. The bathrooms sparkled and were well supplied. And the pancake breakfast on Sunday morning was better than iHop. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Our stay was very nice. We were parked across from the pool which was most convenient. The WiFi was touch and go. Had trouble using cell phone as it kept disconnecting and sound was broken. Could not dial in our t.v. since the WiFi was not good. Other than that it was a pleasure.

We greatly appreciate the family atmosphere and activities. The pancake breakfast was delicious but we preferred having it on Sunday like previous years before checkout. In addition we missed the Sunday ice cream social because of check out. We preferred having it on Saturday like previous years. We do love this KOA!

This KOA was super clean, quiet, and beautiful. Everything was clean and the staff were all so polite and helpful. We liked the big sites. The privacy fences provided in some areas are a wonderful addition for families to enjoy themselves. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful campground nestled in the pines! Huge dog park which my dogs loved, lots of shade so it was nice and cool. Lots of room in each site. Thanks again!!

Loved the campground very neat and clean. Great play area for kids and adults, best pancake breakfast and the sausages were the best I ever had! And the ice cream social was great! Staff were helpful and friendly would stay here again

Beautiful and very well maintained campground. Super-friendly and helpful staff. This place has a laid-back, family-friendly vibe, yet park rules are strictly enforced, which both my husband and I appreciate. Oh, and kudos for having a soap caddy in the shower, an important detail often overlooked. We had a GREAT time and will most definitely be back!

Mt. Lassen/Shingletown KOA is our 85th stop and we stayed 7 days during our visit to Lassen National Park. This is in our top 5 KOAs we have stayed at to date. The staff were excellent and they kept the park clean. The site was large and level and the utilities were well-placed and there was a lot of tree cover throughout the park. Great amenities.

The camp grounds are kept really clean as are the facilities. There is so much to do for adults and especially kids there. Just a very relaxing place to stay.

Great location, large shaded RV sites. We had a back in site. It reminded me Alf a great state park with full hookups. Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Large dog run and plenty of other spaces and walking trails for walking the dog. Amenities and facilities were top notch. Just a great place to spend a few days sightseeing. We’d stay here again for sure.

The store staff went above and beyond. The lack of bee control was beyond frustrating. Anytime even a morsel of food or a single drink was opened multiple bee’s immediately arrived. On the second day we told a cleaning crew at a neighboring cabin. The crew stated maintenance knew. We never were given a bee trap. With one person in our party allergic to bees it made for a stressful time.

I was very impressed with the quantity and quality of the activities the new owner was hosting. The pool, the restrooms, and all of the facilities were in good shape. I wished our site had a bit more afternoon shade since it was a warm summer weekend, but overall I was very impressed with this campground. No question we will return if we are in the area.

It was a quick getaway with the grandkids. The girls love this place. We’ve been here twice before and it’s always a great time. The Kampground and bathrooms are always clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Go to Hat Creek Resort (10 Minutes away) instead! Its $52 a night for full hookups at HAT CREEK! KOA must be owned by the oil company as the prices are disgusting, $98 for a weekday ($20 increase a night from when we booked in May 2022) Y'all have the best campground I have ever been to but if your gonna rip us off to camp in the middle of nowhere....Peace out! Not recommending this place anymore!

We had a fabulous time! All the amenities and planned events were top notch. Would recommend a more age appropriate movie for kids, however.

You can tell there are new owners. The dog park was really messy. Movie night was a bust, maybe something more for kids would have been nice. NO CABLE...not even listed on the website. The new owners no longer have this.

Very nice KOA. Staff was very friendly. Only 15 minute drive to Lassen Park. Only thing it needs is a hot tub.

I had seen someone on a Facebook group recommend this campground and it did not disappoint! There are a lot of really lovely sites that make you feel like you are camping and not sitting in a parking lot. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. One of the best features is the wooded area right next to the camping sites.

We had a great visit at the Mt. Lassen Shingletown KOA. The facilities were very clean, staff were extremely friendly and helpful and activities like movie night and pancake breakfast were a nice bonus.

WE STAYED OVER THE FALL FESTIVAL WEEKEND AND IT WAS A BLAST! THEY HAD SO MANY ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS AND THE ADULTS TOO. IT'S SUPER CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS AWESOME! WE WILL BE DEFINITLY STAYING THERE MORE OFTEN
