We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire campgrounds!!! We stayed at the KOA Journey for 5 nights, which is just down the Highway.... The Showers there were disgustingly filthy, even after a cleaning. So nice to see that the showers at KOA Mountainside Journey were so very clean!!!! If thinking about which KOA to choose..... Hands down choose Mountainside Journey KOA!!!!

This was our second visit to the Yellowstone Park/Mountainside KOA and loved it. The staff was Great, Friendly and Helpful. The site was roomy and the facilities were clean. I Highly Recommend this KOA when visiting Yellowstone, I will stay here again.

This particular KOA is set a beautiful valley. The mountains and the creek that are part of it make you feel absolutely awesome. The office staff is wonderful. They totally make you feel at home. The grounds are very well kept. The laundry room was spotless. This part of West Yellowstone is breathtaking. We would definitely return to this park.

We loved our stay at this KOA. It is minutes from the West Yellowstone National Park entrance. They have a nice playground for kids, K9-Park for dogs and everything you expect from KOA. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating if we had any questions or requests. Next time we plan a trip to Yellowstone, this will be the first place we look for accommodations.

We had site 128; very spacious location and had all the views of the mountains and sunrise/sunsets. The folks were great and very helpful; definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful campground with very scenic mountain views. Very nice nature walks for the dog with benches to relax on along the way. The bath house was spacious and clean. The staff were awesome! Very helpful and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!!

Office staff were awesome! However, no firewood available snd out site was horribly unlevel! To the point so unlevel that in our 4 years as full time traveling, we couldn’t get level without the tires coming off the ground. It was pretty bad. And then, no exit signs! Thss as t would have been nice since it was a little bit if a maze.

Noisy neighbors, noisy road traffic, noisy spot next to the laundry/bathhouse, didn’t have a fire because the fire pit was too close to a large propane tank. Best part of this RV park is it’s not a parking lot on the side of the road with hookups like most spots in West Yellowstone, and it’s close to the West Entrance of Yellowstone.

Nice place, not too far away from West Yellowstone and the park entrance. Very friendly staff. Very comfortable private bathrooms. Perfect for discovering the Yellowstone NP,

Park staff were friendly and helpful. Overall the park was clean and well kept including the restrooms/showers and laundry facility. The one downside at the park itself was the Wifi was very spotty and lended itself only to checking email. We also had limited cell service (TMobile) in the area so that was a bit of a negative. Overall was happy with our stay and would recommend the park.

Park like setting, creek running theough and on the edge of National Forest. Lots of space for walking with the dog. Great laundry facility. Bathrooms good but not the cleanest we have encountered. Huge pull through with grassy area as well as gravel picnic space. Short drive to West Yellowstone and park gates.

Great! Only issue I had, and had on prior stays, is that the elevation of the sewer hook-up is higher than the elevation of the parking pad at some sites. Takes some ingenuity. But, I will stay again.

Camp site was clean. The fire pit was empty of all ash. The swing was a nice touch. Shower house was decent. Showers had awesome water pressure and hot enough water for me. The only downside of the shower house was no mat after you got out of the shower.

Welcoming Staff! When we arrived, they said somebody had canceled our reservation the previous day, but we did not cancel our reservation. The staff were accommodating, worked with us to get another site, and refunded us for the first reservation we had paid for. This KOA has clean bathrooms and sites with shade trees.

Nice helpful staff. Convenient location to West gate of Yellowstone. Wi-fi is practically non existent and the sites really need gravel to curb the mud!

Very beautiful KOA. All sites and equipment are well maintained. Loved the walking paths. Was unfortunate that their little restaurant was never open during our stay and groceries in the store were not well stocked, however, West Yellowstone not too far away for restaurants and groceries. Overall loved the place.

Front desk service was awesome! Provided excellent hiking tips for W. Yellowstone! Bathrooms & Showers are both your own private bathroom/shower. Spotless. We were in a truck camper, and our site was near the back of the campground near the woods and cabins. Much less crowded and perfect with a dog! Many thanks for a great experience!!!

I was told the campground may expand in the future, I really hope the decision is not to expand it was very refreshing to have so much space and open areas to enjoy. Some KOA we have stayed at in the past feel more like a parking lot to camp in, we truly appreciated the larger sites snd open areas , ponds to walk around.

Great place to camp and we also hit the pool and enjoyed having showers to use. Great for all the hiking and walking after Grand Tetons or Yellowstone.
