Good rate, great showers, we always appreciate clean restrooms. Friendly staff.

we have stayed there many times, always clean and tidy, friendly staff and beautiful area to walk in. We have meastered the entry...we know just how to center our rig through the narrow entry without cringing. Coming again this week. Thanks.

My wife and I always stay here when in the area. Bill and Nicole are fantastic!! The view of Mt. Shasta is breath taking, bathrooms very clean. Love the sound of the train reminds us of a simpler time. We will be back!!

Friendly, clean and loved that you had fire pits to loan out! Great, quick stay.

Was just for one night, but was satisfied with the cleaness of the campgroud. Still, there could be more effort into better leveling of the sites

An attractive park, and the staff were friendly, but seemed a bit distracted by the end of the season things. No ice... I would like to go there sometime, in-season.

Very nice, good pull thru. seeing the snow on Mt Shasta was fun while riding the motorcycle up the Mtn.

Its just a stop over. We wouldn't stay there more than one night. Needs a lot of improvements on the landscaping. The office staff was very helpful. We didn't like the train going bye.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bill and Nichole were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The park has all the amenities you need in a campground. The bathrooms/showers were clean. Nice game room. Within walking distance of Mt Shasta City. The wifi is sketchy, but they tell you that up front on the website. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Friendly staff, really good at helping us with our needs. Will definitely come back.

The TRAINS at night. OH, the trains! (Nothing you can do about that.) BUT, you COULD improve the WiFi and earn a fifth STAR from us. :-)

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments. Living here on site like we do, we think the same way you do, (nothing can be done). WiFi - we're hoping we will be able to provide extended area coverage very soon. A lot has to do with the local provider and what they can offer us. Thank You.

except for the trains ALL NIGHT - the KOA is a nice campground, clean, friendly, easy to get to.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We love hearing good comments. We take pride in providing a clean, safe, friendly place to come and stay. The trains have been here for many years, the local economy is partly based on trains. Trains are a part of history and except for the occasional whistle its something many folks still enjoy.

I had RV reservation for my stay, but when I got there late, the manager "Bill" had given it to some else , and told on the phone oh just find something else? Very poor service!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do our very best to reserve sites for guests, but as told to you when you arrived, and when you called at 10:30, it is nearly impossible to prevent other guests, who arrive late and without reservations, to take only sites that are posted with instructions "choose only these sites".

Landscapping was dismal. No trees. Service location poorly placed. Cablehookup needs repair. Wifi is a joke. Otherwise ok.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Mt Shasta KOA is known for its majestic forested sites; however, not every site has trees. This is to accommodate taller RV's, slide-outs and other features. Satellite reception does not work in the trees. WiFi instructions are given at check-in and service is limited. Cable TV repairs are underway.

This was our 5th time staying at this KOA. Bill and Nicole are great hosts and do everything they can to ensure we have a great time. They know our dogs and always insure we have a camp site where the dogs have plenty of room. They keep the place clean and comfortable. Plenty of trees and the location is great. Love spending time around the fire. Trains harken to a simpler time!!

Our stay was wonderful. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Our sincere thoughts go to all that may have lost love ones and their possessions in the Weed, CA wild fire the day before. Weed, CA is a small community just north of Mount Shasta City, CA. where this KOA is located.
Sep 18, 2014
Nice quiet park. Management was friendly and accommodating. Very pretty with lots of shade trees. Lots of room to walk the dogs. Only issue we had was the garbage dumpsters were at the entrance to the park a distance from our space.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments. We take pride in managing the operation & make it a top priority to accommodate each & every guest with wonderful memories, so they will visit us again very soon. If we could move our dumpsters closer, we would, but the City regulates where they sit for service access.

Too cramped and congested. Sign not visible and caused delay in locating

Nice campground. Trains are too much to handle at night. Not the owners fault.

Love this KOA! Stayed here a few times now. A couple issues this time that Im sure theyll have remedied quickly. 1) Ladies room lock was broken. 2) The posted cleaning time of ladies room is inaccurate, and created great emotional upheaval for a guest traveling with me, frightened by the cleaning lady entering while she was showering an hour before posted time. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.
Sep 14, 2014
We have a lovely stay among the trees. Great place for an overnight.
Sep 13, 2014
The train was loud !!!
Sep 12, 2014
Enjoyable stay!
Sep 12, 2014
We stayed here as a quick stop-over so didn't get to explore fully, but the place was wonderful. This was the first night of our trip and set the tone (and the expectations) for all the following nights. And they set the bar high!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for those comments. We tell all employees to treat each guest with a smile, enjoy what we have to offer and take the time to be helpful. Please stay longer next time and enjoy all the places to see around Mt Shasta, Siskyou County and Oregon. You will create memories that will last a lifet
