This was the second time that we stayed at Mt. Shasta. Once again, we enjoyed our stay. Mt. Shasta is very clean and the staff are great.

Laundry needs work. Machines out of order, and dirty. The people were super, but the facilities were only adequate. It needs a dog park.
Oct 14, 2016
Rv parking was perfect, camp host was nice, helpful and fast check-in. Bathroom-showers need remodel. Women's entrance door had no lock.

Just okay. Not great. Not terrible. My wife disliked the laundry room since there were only 2 working dryers. Firewood was expensive and burned unevenly. Space was level and connection locations were good. Staff was very pleasant.

Like the trees and the wide spots, but they say they offer cable and was told our spot did not work. Should have told us that at ck in, with another spot option. park was not full !

Awesome Stay, Very Accommodating!! Beautiful RV Park!!
Oct 12, 2016
Relatively tight spaces, many pull throughs, relatively clean, friendly staff, may stay there again.
Oct 11, 2016
we enjoyed our stay though short as it is convenient to visit friends in mount shasta.
Oct 10, 2016
Nice cabins but lots of cobwebs!

The facilities were extremely clean and the man at check in was very friendly and helpful. He even offered to print out something for us that we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and everything was so clean and peaceful.

Our reservation information was not on the after hours board when we arrived so we had no idea where to park. We had to search for a full hook up site in the dark which made our set up very difficult.

Excellent experience, very clean rest room and shaver, will stay at Koa if available during my trip. Thanks

for my money this is hands down the best way to stay in mt. shasta. i have stayed in the high dollar motels there, and its no comparison. the grounds are very well kept, and its so peaceful. the staff is so nice and helpful. and to be able to walk out your door and have breath taking views of the mountain is great. i will stay there every time i go to mt. shasta in the future. thanks .

The place did not look as though it was kept up very well. The pool was low and green. No cable tv. Wifi terrible. Someone from the apartments came over the fence and was yelling obsentities to someone at 9pm. Will never go back to this one.Feel I should be refunded for this one. But live and learn I suppose. Not real friendly at check in and stood about 10 minutes before anyone came in to help me

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Your comments are completely unfounded. If you read the info given to you, the pool is OPEN Memorial Day to Labor Day every year, we have snow that why its closed. You picked the site as you wanted to setup a tent, I told you personally there was no cable / wifi at that site. No we do not refund.

our stay was just an over nighter on the road. I would have used the pool but it looked awful - full of leaves and "green stuff"! I know it was late in the year, but it was still a warm day and would have taken a dip if the pool looked inviting.

Friendly staff. Beautiful trees. Just a very nice experience.
Sep 29, 2016
Lovely, mixed use, smallish campground. Lots of trees. Nice RV spaces. Some train noise, but minor if you have camped on the California Coast!
Sep 29, 2016
Park is very dusty. Our site was not level enough to allow our jacks to level our rig.
Sep 28, 2016
Loud train but nice place and friendly people.
Sep 27, 2016
We always have a good stay there.
Sep 27, 2016
Friendly & Clean
Sep 27, 2016
Loud trains late evening and early mornings. Very weak WiFi. Nice place and lots of great scenery everywhere.
Sep 27, 2016
nice camp ground. they helped usnoutbon overflow parking. Thank You
Sep 26, 2016
Great stay with the exception of one guest kicking up clouds of dust with their ATV. When reported to KOA staff they dealt with the problem.
Sep 26, 2016
Great campground.
Sep 26, 2016
Friendly Staff but like the condition of Everything else in Mt Shasta, it is Dirty and dilapidated and I met likely would not return.
Sep 26, 2016
Last minute stop. Friendly staff. Clean resort. Will use again as halfway point from the Bay Area to Bend.

Got in late on Thursday night -- thankfully it was a very smooth late-night check-in process. The cabin was very clean, and they had the space heater running, which was great as it was pretty chilly. Bathrooms were also pretty clean, nice hot showers, and surprisingly good Wi-Fi. On the whole a nice trip.
Sep 23, 2016
Too short of a stay but convenient locale. Heard trains but only until falling asleep. Pretty with all the trees. Cute community and area.
Sep 23, 2016
Arrived late and our map and site details were waiting for us. Quick and easy online registration beforehand. Site was clean and well-maintained. Loved camping here!
Sep 23, 2016
Great stay, lovely peaceful walk among the trees, only 4 stars, no working lock on women's restroom. mixup on space to park in, although I think we got a better space with the mix up. would stay again.
Sep 22, 2016
Nice campground. Close to town. Very dusty. Cable TV wires need replacing.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The dust I have to admit is a problem that we work very hard at controlling. Its not your normal dirt is very tiny particles that goes everywhere. Best solution is drive slower and tell neighbors to drive slower. We've posted that all over. IT HELPS !! The cable were working with the company to fix.
Sep 22, 2016
Very nice.
Sep 21, 2016
Our key was given to someone else and we still had another night!! No apology, didn't acknowledge my dispute, he just turned his head away from me, in front of another customer!! He's part owner, pretty sad, used to be my go to spot for over ten years, I'm thinking twice if Nichole isn't there working😠😳
Sep 21, 2016
I very much like the Mt. Shasta area. The KOA was pretty good. A few friendly suggestions. More rock laid down an ALL camp roads to keep dust down, stronger internet connection so all camp sites get internet, and better signage to find camp site location, for day or night arrivals. Over all good experience.
Sep 21, 2016
I enjoyed my stay but the place could use updating.
Sep 21, 2016
Good KOA 2nd time we've stayed.
Sep 21, 2016
Bathrooms very dirty. Wifi password given incorrect. TV did not work. Spots not level and hookups at end rather than middle of sites. Train horns all night. Not much to like here

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Were sorry you were displeased with the restrooms Our staff works diligently to keep the bathrooms clean. Next time if you see a problem please immediately call it to our attention. As for Wifi, the codes do work, many times it might be your device or a blocker you have installed in your software.

Friday and Saturday nights were almost at capacity, with many visitors on a one-night stay. The bathrooms were small for the crowd and cleaning staff was overwhelmed. Great location, easy walk/bike ride to downtown.
Sep 20, 2016
A very good value for the money spent on a Kamping Kabin. The number of trains running through Shasta at night did surprise me. But we notice that same increase where we live in Oregon also.
Sep 20, 2016
This was our first time staying at this KOA and we were very impressed with the wonderful hospitality of the staff, the assortment of munchies in the gift shop, the KOA shot glass that we got (we collect shot glasses from our travels), the cleanliness of the campground and bathrooms, and the super awesome cabin!! It was all pretty perfect and we look forward to getting back there again. I would re

Beautiful facility. Will definitely be back so we can stay a couple days.
Sep 20, 2016
Great location. Friendly owners. Quiet sites.
Sep 20, 2016
Gravel or pavement or grass would help this KOA immensely! It was very dirty and dusty.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Even though are facility is in the mountains we still suffer from the drought. The City does allow us to water but not enough to keep grasses green and eliminate dust. We work with a company that puts down a substance to cut down dust but guests do not observe the speed limits and it kicks up dust.
Sep 20, 2016
You need to fix your electrical receiver plug would not stay in socket kept cutting off the power.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If you visit our facility next Spring, you will find many improvements, one being the electrical that you mention. We take the service we offer very highly and will always correct or remedy a problem right away. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
