The festival will be held at the Mt. Shasta City Park from noon to 6:00 p.m. The Blackberry Music Festival has become a Labor Day Weekend tradition in Mt. Shasta. The festival draws local families and friends together with area visitors to celebrate the end of summer with a Sunday afternoon of music and picnic fun.

The McCloud Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Annual Dog, Pony and Bike Parade at Noon on Main Street. Join pet owners, bicyclists, vintage car owners, floats and other decorated participants for a trip down main street during this free, traditional McCloud event. All animals are welcome, and the entire community and visitors are invited to attend. Along with the parade, festivities will include vendors, food, free apple cider, Christmas crafts and activities as well as a visit from Santa Clause and Sparky the Dog presented by CalFire.
