We will be offering 5 ride options this year: Super Century, Full Century, Mountain Metric Century, Valley Metric Century, and a Half-Metric Century. The rides will follow one or both of two loops – one to the south of Mt. Shasta and one to the north.
All rides start and end in the beautiful Mount Shasta City Park. Here, the headwaters of the Sacramento River emerge from the base of Mount Shasta in its purest and clearest form. You will be treated to the best tasting drinking water the world has to offer! Bring a jug with you and fill up for later! The McCloud Fireman's Muster will be held on June 17, 2017!Join us for a fun-for-the-whole-family parade at 10 am on Main Street!Make your way to Hoo Hoo Park following the parade, to cheer on your favorite men and women in uniform as they compete against fellow fire departments and show off the skills that enable them to serve their neighbors and loved ones every day!Fireman races begin at 11 am and go until 5 pm. There will be a BBQ Tri-Tip Dinner at 6 pm, also at Hoo Hoo Park. Following dinner and awards, join us for some dancing and music, courtesy of Wild Woman Sounds! Other activities include raffles, vendor booths, BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers, and t-shirts for sale all day at the park!So come out and support the men and women who serve this community day in and day out!It will likely be warm and sunny, so be sure to bring your camp chairs and shade tents! Water will be available for sale, but we encourage you to bring your own supply as well.

Mt. Shasta's largest annual event begins in downtown Mt. Shasta on Saturday July 1st and Tuesday July 4th and will be filled with entertainment, music, and the Artisan Market & Street Faire. Tuesday July 4th opens with the Mountain Runners very popular Walk/Run at 7 am on Mt. Shasta Blvd., the annual July 4th Parade, vendors and food on Castle Street, and the fireworks at dusk!

The 70th Annual McCloud Lumberjack Fiesta Days will be held July 28th, 29th, and 30th this upcoming year. The event is the McCloud Community Recreation Council's main fundraiser. Proceeds earned from the event are given back to the kids and community of McCloud in many ways, including funding of the annual Easter egg hunt at Hoo Hoo Park. The Fiesta provides a fun filled weekend for the whole family. Three days of competitions ensue with a variety of events such as horseshoes, logging, watermelon eating, and dancing. The Li'l Logger and Miss Fiesta contests kick of the event Friday Night. Other attractions of the event include music, water slides, vendors, a softball tournament, food, ice cold beer, and much more fun in the sun. The Lumberjack Fiesta has something for all ages! Plus, don't forget the parade on Saturday!
The Siskiyou County Fair began as an agricultural show in 1859 in Fort Jones, moved to Yreka in 1867 and became the 10th District Agricultural Association in 1926, at the current location on Fairlane Rd. The 10th D.A.A. hosted the Siskiyou County Fair until 1952 when a second fair was established in Siskiyou County, the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair. The name was changed at that time to the “Siskiyou County Fair and Paul Bunyan Festival.” In 1972, the current name “The Siskiyou Golden Fair” was selected by the Board of Directors and that name is still used today. For 158 years, our traditions, heritage, culture and history have been on display through our many and varied exhibits, contests and entertainment opportunities. Join us August 9-13, 2017 in Yreka as we celebrate “Pioneer Days to Modern Ways”.

The Mt. Shasta Rotary Club is preparing to host the 29th annual Blackberry Music Festival on Sunday, September 3rd, with another exciting program of music and family fun. The festival will be held at the Mt. Shasta City Park from noon to 6:00 p.m. The Blackberry Music Festival has become a Labor Day Weekend tradition in Mt. Shasta. The festival draws local families and friends together with area visitors to celebrate the end of summer with a Sunday afternoon of music and picnic fun.
McCloud Mountain Bluegrass 2017 is back September 8th, 9th and 10th and bigger than ever with THREE DAYS of performances, workshops, jamming, beer, food vendors and GREAT MUSIC! This is a rain or shine event at the north end of Hoo Hoo Park. Free Parking at the Old Mill site.

All ride festivities take place at the Siskiyou Golden Fairgrounds in Yreka,CA.Camping is available at the fairgrounds on Friday night. The Rotary Club prepares an amazing end of ride feast for all riders.
Yreka is located twenty-two miles south of the Oregon border on Interstate 5 and is the county seat of Siskiyou County. Yreka's elevation is 2,595 feet and September is usually warm, but because of elevation and the elevations you may climb, it is always best to be prepared for inclement weather. Siskiyou County is noted for the Mt. Shasta Ski and Recreation Area, Marble Mountain Wilderness trails and camping, river rafting, historical districts, antiques, and soon to be known for its bicycle touring.
The Siskiyou Golden Fairgrounds will host the 2017 Sizzlin September Show and Shine. Show attendees will enjoy registered cars and motorcycle as they line the fair mall. Don't miss the spirited 50's themed Show and Shine. Live music and specialty vendors will be present, and additional kid-friendly events such as box car building and a hula hoop contest will create a fun day for the entire family.
Montague Balloon Fair occurs every year during late September in the scenic Shasta Valley off the north face of majestic Mt Shasta. This is a free event, open to the public.
This event will take place on September 22 - 24.

The 3rd Annual Apple Harvest Festival will be held on October 14th from 10am to 6pm on Main St, McCloud. The festivities begin at 10AM with a Scarecrow Building Contest with music by Andre Mottershead until Noon.At 11AM, bring your fresh, homemade apple pie for the Apple Pie Contest. Wind Horse 3-Piece Band takes the stage from 1-3PM to round out the afternoon.A VERY special catered Harvest Dinner is planned at 6PM. Cost information will be available as the event draws near.The night is just beginning as the live band comes to the dance floor from 7-11PM at 424 Main Street. For only $5 per person, you can dance and enjoy the night with friends and family and help celebrate another successful Apple Harvest Festival.

Registration for the Main Street parade begins at 10AM with the festivities rolling out at 12PM. Don't have a bike? Then hop in your vintage ride and be a part of the show! Don't forget, Santa Claus will be making a VERY special appearance for all the little ones looking to share their Christmas list with the big guy. There will be a special "Christmas Crafts" area for all to come and create a little homemade treasure.
