We found the bathrooms often unclean and the showers most often dirty with hair clogging the drains. Very disappointed with both.

As a travel agent, I’m familiar with good and bad customer service. Your team is nothing short of amazing. The office, ground personnel, and anyone else we dealt with were outstanding. We enjoyed My Pleasant, Charleston, Patriots Point, Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet. The location is perfect to enjoy the history and beauty of South Carolina.

THE ONLY campground for us in the Charleston area. Return visit and introduced some friends to your campground. Still a very nice campground and always clean. We use it as a base to explore the area. Highly recommend!!

So far this was one of the best. Sites were unbeliebable beautiful and the staff were awesome. Very friendly and kind and helpful. We had a tire going flat. Kept on coming over to see if we were ok/ Went to store to get spray to kill bees they didnt have any. Explained my husband was extremely allergic to bees and they came over and sprayed.

The facility was spotless. Extremely well maintained. Walking trail was awesome. Lake was nice. Pancake breakfast was good. Store is well stocked. Our wifi at our site was poor to fair. Disappointed with that detail. Site was ok. We stayed for 8 nights.Made reservations months in advance.Pool was nice but weather was too cold to try. Close to many attractions.

Very accommodating as I booked 4 days and meant to book 5 and they found me a site even though they were almost fully booked. The sites and campground was clean. The text communication and pre check in were greatly appreciated. Very efficient and friendly staff.

I made a mistake and booked 4 nights instead of 5. They managed to find a spot for me the 5th night. The communications was great and check in was easy. Staff was very friendly and the site was clean.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. Even when our plans had to change suddenly they were very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again when in Charleston.

This was our first KOA experience and probably our last if we can help it. Not our kind of camping with campers packed together and very expensive. Everything was an up charge including selecting a site. Laundry was very expensive. We did like the pancake breakfast that was available (for a reasonable fee).

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There was an up charge because you upgraded your site from a water/electric only site to a full hook up (water/electric/sewage) site. There is a difference in the rate.

This is a great place to stay. We spent 3 nights and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved that they had wired internet connection on the pedestal. was able to get very hi speed internet while there by plugging my router into it.

This is a wonderful campground! Staff are friendly and attentive, and always have a dog biscuit available for canine friends. The grounds and washrooms are kept clean. There is a beautiful walking path around the lake. Large, well kept dog park. Nicest KOA I have ever been to. Will definitely come back here when I return to Charleston!

This is our 2nd time staying at the Mt. Pleasant/Charleston KOA. This campground is clean and staff are very friendly. We really enjoyed the pasta dinner, omelet, and pancake breakfast as well.

Lovely KOA in a beautiful area. One of the most gorgeous KOAs we’ve ever stayed. It’s a little pricey and laundry was the most expensive I’ve seen-$6/load. I wound still return in a heartbeat to enjoy the beautiful area.

The grounds are kept up constantly, we always appreciate the trash collection that gos through daylight hours, AND we can’t say enough about the staff and their willingness to bend over backwards to make sure you have a wonderful experience. I had absentmindedly made my reservations for the wrong month!!! The entire staff worked to ensure we had a place to stay!! Can’t thank them enough!!!

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!

The staff at KOA Mount Pleasant truly enjoy what they do! It shows in how you are treated and the thoughtful things they do to ensure you enjoy your stay. We have stayed here many times over the last 15 years. The sites are spacious, clean and beautiful. The facilities are clean and well kept and fully stocked. Thanks for another enjoyable stay
