Tent Reviews

Le camping est vraiment très bien pour des famille. Toutefois, le bruit du train de de l'autoroute fut ma seul et unique déception.

Grounds were nice, but the tenting area was too close to the highway. Very hard to sleep.

I received help when choosing a dry spot to set up my tent (the owner gave me a ride with his golf cart). I got a grill to prepare my meal (I forgot the burner stove at home). The lady at the front desk gave us excellent advice about getting to/parking in Montreal.

Nice people, nice amenities, nice tenting spots. But they need a sound barrier due to the highway noise. Hardly slept all night, as we were situated about 50m from a busy & noisy highway (and trains that run all night a bit further).

This KOA is immediately by a very busy highway. It also has a train track that is very close and trains that go through hourly until 11 pm then start again at 5 am. The mosquitos were so thick we could not sit out in the evening and had to rush our packing in the morning just to escape!

Facilities were adequate and grounds were well-kept. However, the tent sitess are placed only a few meters from a major highway, and only a fence shields them. The noise level was unacceptable. There was constant roaring noise at all hours of the night.

I was the only tent camper at the entire site-- and was placed waaaay over in the corner farthest from the KOA facilities and right next to the highway. Needless to say, even with earplugs, it was a sleepless night with trucks & cars rumbling by my tent at all hours. Ugh.

What made our stay at KOA was the amazing staff and great activities for the kids. Too bad about the highway and noise, otherwise a perfect getaway for the young family. Thanks KOA!

very noisy it is better to have the trailers on the highway side and the tent all the way in the back so you can sleep better, and i didn't really see a boarder between the campside where the put my tent thats all for the rest it was a nice park .

We had no problems with the campground and amentities, we were dishearted to have discovered the major highway 20 was beside the tenting area and was very difficult to sleep during our stay here. I probably would not return here, would most likely try to find a camping area away from major highway next time.

Everybody was really nice at the campground and all the facilities were good and clean too! For those staying in the tent area, the highway noise and train noise at night makes a good night sleep almost impossible. No matter how many hours I attempted to sleep, I always woke up feeling like I had no sleep. Of course, that's not the fault of the campground, just a really bad location! :)

Great Place. Little close to the hwy but it did not cause a problem. Loved the animals

Luckily, we were in the area to go to the Jazz Festival, and spent minimal time at the campground. It was RIGHT off the highway, which I understand many KOAs are, but we could hear trucks roaring by all night, and could even see them from our tent. Not a very relaxing sleeping experience. It was also a very cramped campground. Other than that, it was fine. It was at least the cheapest in the area

nothing amazing, all tents were very close to each other with no chance to feel nature truly.
