Awesome place to stay with kids! The only bad thing I have to say, is the water was very dirty (piled with leaves in the water). It was NOT like this last year when we went twice. Hoping when we come back in august it’s cleaned up.

We tent camped and the site was a fairly small. More space would have been nice since the people behind us loved to smoke their marijuana. I did not like my children or myself being exposed to that. Also, there were holes all over the site from the fire pit ring being moved around. Literally large holes/very uneven ground. As far as the staff, they were all very pleasurable and no issues.

The sites are very close together and small. The roads are marked on one end only, making it difficult at check in to locate your road (or at least our road-F). The fire wood is only delivered if you purchase 3 bundles or more and trash pickup does not occur. This is the 1st KOA we've stayed at that requires we take our garbage to a dumpster vs the employees picking it up. A pool would be great!

The only issue I had was at 230 in the morning I had to call security to quite people down behind me. They told me they were just there 10 minutes before and others had called. I could hear the golf cart (or car) coming and could hear the people behind me talking but I couldn't hear what security said. They continued to make lots of noise yet security did nothing to stop it.

It is very clean there. I wish my site had more grass though. There was a lot of seaweed in the pond. But it was still an excellent stay!

Pros: The swimming lake, the showers were clean and staff was friendly. Cons: the road by the playground is a main road and should be paved to reduce the amount of dust for campers in sites close by. Several times as cars went by I got dust in my eyes. Campers allowed dogs in the water. There should be showers near the rustic sites. Not sure why showers are closer for people with RVs.

Different people on different days were up making noise past midnight. Clientele there is rough. Rules are not enforced day campers Park their cars wherever they want take out their chairs and start fishing in the pond which blocks view of very expensive front row sites. The roads and walking areas unlevel old not cared for. Falling danger. 80s old. Slide pool bottom peeling paint.

Staff was very kind and extremely Helpful. Had issues with QUIET �Ϯ TIME, LOUD MUSIC BLASTING, KIDS RUNNING RAMPANT UNSUPERVISED, also riding bikes and boards long after curfew. No staff enforcing these activities after hours. No one to call you take action

It was Father's Day weekend and there were no activities set up, the inflatables were not put up, the swim lake was cover in the bottom with leaves and sticks. The playground area is really small and not very new...I feel for what you pay there could ve some upgrades. Our campsite the first night was literally touching tents with the sites next to us...thank goodness they left for our next night!

Workers very friendly, very dirty restrooms, wooden pad/patio was in very bad shape/rotting. Full hook-up area cramped. But there was a lot of things for kids to do.

Would have given 5 stars but too much traffic coming and going since their swimming pond is open to the public. Deep holes on exit side of driveway is hard on trucks and rvs, needs fixed. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Nice laundry room, lots of machines. Excellent cable tv and wifi. Loved the KOA patio furniture, love the gliders they provide over the swings that some KOAs provide.

The campsite offers a variety of activities especially for families. We like the tie-dye shirts. The staff at the office is very friendly and we like that the office was open until 10 pm. Camper etiquette should be stressed here. Simple things like not walking through others campsites, cleaning up after your dog, keeping music at reasonable levels, and observing quiet time, especially at 4 am.

Me, and my family stayed Father’s Day weekend. The actual campground was nice. But the people were TRASHY. Yelling inappropriate words at night outside. My cousins camper was unplugged twice. The lady that worked the snack station Friday night was rude. Putting in a second park would help the kid fights…

Campsites are too small, too close together, and dirty. Also, this place charged a “resort fee”, I guess for the privilege of swimming in a pond. Since the fee is mandatory, it should be included in the camping charges. And then there is the big hole at the entrance that makes entering and leaving the campground an ordeal.

The campground is older but well maintained. Trees are kept limbed and away from trailers. Shocked that they did not escort us to site and signs are not posted on one side of road. Spots are close. They charge for guests even if they only visit your site and do not participate in the activities. Laundry is new and nice.

The amenities are fine. The kids had fun. I feel the price is a bit steep for the size of the sites. We have a class A RV, 35 ft, with 2 slide-outs. We had to maneuver the RV a couple of times to be able to fit and put the slide-outs out. Just too expensive. We had chosen this KOA because of it's location to family and friends. Everyone had to pay $10.00 per person just to visit. Don't recommend.

Very crowded and the maintenance staff was very rude. I was very disappointed as this was the first KOA we have ever stayed in. We bought the membership and I think it may have been a waste of money.

Speakers you can not understand anything on the side by putt putt and since it was a tornado warning it was important and just starting to look alittle and needs a refresh

Our site was very dirty! Like the ash from the fire pit was mixed with sand. Only a small area of grass. The ground at our site was very uneven. (In the gathering area, the trailer area was better). The site was tight. Needs more shower stalls for the amount of sites they have.

From the first interaction at the campground to the last, the entire experience was the worst my family and I had at any KOA ever. The person staffing the kiosk at the road seemed clueless. Check-in went smooth. Our campsite was the ONLY one in the park that did not have grass. It was all sand and dirt. Add in the fact that it hadn't rained in weeks and we were choking on dust the entire stay.

My recent KOA stay was, for the most part, awesome as always! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially Sean!! Despite being regulars, staying roughly 9-15 days/month, my guests and I constantly experience issues with Gary. I was hopeful this year would be an improvement, but unfortunately the unfair treatment, unjust charges, and general lack of respect from this man has continued.

We love monroe koa! We have managed to save up each year to go a few times to this campground. Two things I do not like are the amount of restricted dog breeds in the park that were unleashed. I also seen a ton of unsupervised kids swimming (under the age of 3).

The employees that you had running the bounce house area and the employee at th bottom of the water slide were more interested in their phones and talking to each other then to talk to us campers. And I'm pretty positive that the employee at the water slide was taking pictures of the girls in their bathing suits. I used to work at a KOA and if I acted like them I would have been fired.

We love staying at KOA!! There was so many fun activities to do here. Plus just the feeling of being somewhere safe and family friendly makes KOA the #1 place to go camping!!

I love this place. They always have activities going on and always something to do! Saturday glow dance party is our favorite thing to do!!
