nice park. lots of trees that makes it tight for big rigs to manuver around. We managed in a 45 footer with tow, but have to go really slow and stay wide on some of the turns. Very nice office personnel. We would stay here again.

Very pleasant stay. We stopped on our way to Sturgis and it was so nice that we stopped again on our way home. The second time we stayed 2 nights. I will definitely stay here again.

Awesome staff. Wonderful “General Store” is well stocked. Great facility. Family run KOA, they care and it shows through and through. Highly recommend. Will stay again. Get the fly trap sold in the General Store!

Outstanding hosts! Mark was accommodating to our same day request to stay in our 45’ motorhome. Both Mark and Steffany were wonderful. Best KOA we have ever stayed at and a beautiful place was a bonus.

We arrived at Mitchell KOA on our way to dells Wisconsin for a 1 night stay while checking in. the camp host Mark asked if we were going to disconnect and if so he had a site the he just did some improvements and wanted us to try it and we did it was the leavel'ist site I have been in for some time big beautiful oak trees clean well maintained

Carey was excellent, very caring and helpful even when i made my reservation for the wrong night, she fixed it and we were welcomed!! I only wish we were closer so we could go back all the time!!

We have stayed here several times. The last time several years ago. We were disappointed that the pool was removed and replaced by a patio. A bit pricey for a place without a pool, but convenient to downtown so we will probably stay here again (unless we can find a campground nearby with a pool)

The site we were in #12. The site was every I level leaned toward the left! It really needs to be fixed! We were boiling hot water and it literally Flew off the stove onto the floor. So Fortunate that no one got hurt. Lastly you may want to mention to guests not to walk through other folks campsites. It was so odd that several people walked right through our site right by our door!

Helpful staff. I asked about the storm buildings they had and they found the website for me so I could forward it to family who could use one. Great selection of craft beer in the store. Very clean. Mitchell is a great little town. The Corn Palace is a unique site. We also visited the Carnegie Library. Lots of historical items and a gallery of Oscar Howe’s work. We’ll worth the visit.

It's a great for a stop over on your way either to the west or east. Easy in and out to the freeway and inside the campground. Most of the sites are a little small but are pull-thru and pretty level.

Cleanest, Best decorated Restrooms I've seen in 12 years of KOAing! If you need an Oil change, Lube Rangers is Amazing. As always, the People make it Great!

This is a wonderful campground….awesome sites and awesome owners! We had a few problems with our coach during our stay and they treated us like family and helped us through. They are the best of the best. The sites are beautiful, big and full of gorgeous old trees. Can’t say enough about our stay�ϋ�.

Wonderful owners who made you feel welcome. I know we were only staying for one night because we were going to Mount Rushmore but I felt like this was a KOA that we could stay for the whole week. Clean bathrooms beautiful bathrooms.

Fantastic Campground. The new owners have put their heart and soul into. They are supper friendly and accommodating. The Bathrooms are newly remodeled and super nice. I highly recommend a stay with them.

Staff was friendly and helpful. While we just stayed overnight on the way back home, we were treated well and the campground facilities were clean and well taken care of. Overall we were very happy to have selected the Mitchell KOA as our place to overnight.

It’s everything I expect from a KOA. Great staff and great facilities. My down fall and it’s pretty big. My sites “yard” was dirt and apparently a low spot. It had rained overnight and I was left in a standing water mud pit. While koa can’t control rain, they can regrade with dirt and bring in grass/sod. Other sites did not have this happen. Will stay again, just be mindful of what sit

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
