Campground Reviews

Jul 17, 2015
The park was clean and comfortable. We selected a spot where we could get satellite so not a lot of trees but hubby was able to watch his sports. :)
Jul 17, 2015
By far the best KOA I have ever stayed at. Clean, friendly and well appointed.
Jul 17, 2015
Spacious, Neat, clean park and campsites. Quiet. Very pleasant. Excellent amenities
Jul 17, 2015
Excellent KOA. I love this place. I only stayed one night as we were passing through but out of all the KOA's that I've been to this is definitely in my top 5. Great staff as well.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Pool is freezing but that was my only dislike which wasn't even a big deal. Keep up the great work

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Pool is kept at a constant 81 degrees.

Some guests rude at 5am ,slamming doors ,etc,
Jul 16, 2015
Great facilities and very helpful staff. Best KOA we have ever stayed in, we have been members for many years. You have set the bar high for others to follow
Jul 16, 2015
reservation was questioned as to why we wanted a pull thru. was not allowed to stake down. bathrooms unclean.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We try to select the best available site according to equipment. Pull through was questioned because we have Premium tent sites with tent pad, park pad, covered picnic table with electric & USB. Stakes can be used in those site and they are less expensive. Thought that might interest camper.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Little Bear cabin. It's a great place for a family of four. They have good amenities (pool, laundry, breakfast, etc.) Overall, a great stay!

When I made the reservations, I wrongly assumed, that, for $51.00 I would have a full hookup site. My fault for not reading every word. I was assigned a water and electric only site, with 3 teenagers. I'll not stay at KOA again, there are other facilities just as nice, not as expensive.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do try to give the best site descriptions possible with the limited space we have available on the website. This happens quite often when customers are driven primarily by price rather than amenities.
Jul 15, 2015
We love staying here. Pull thru sites with full hook-ups, a pool, mini golf, two children's parks and two dog parks, ice cream social every night! You can't beat it!
Jul 15, 2015
Nice campground, great amenities, friendly people in a convenient urban location.
Jul 15, 2015
Very accommodating. Loved the extras. Puppy treats for our dogs was very sweet
Jul 15, 2015
Great location for an overnight stay along the way! This was my 3rd visit!
Jul 15, 2015
Very large park but well maintained. Had parking by site for tow vehicles. Nice large dog park.
Jul 15, 2015
Great except for that little curb that i tripped and fell in front of the office all is good.
Jul 15, 2015
Nice but campsites are very close together and you have little privacy. The bathroom was very dirty and smelly.
Jul 15, 2015
The bathrooms were gross. There was hair on the toilets, sinks, walls, and piles of it in the showers. The Kabin we stayeded was fine.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do have a regular cleaning schedule and frequent checks in order to keep the restrooms fresh and clean. If there is an issue we do ask that customers' let us know immediately so we can take care of it then rather than finding out about it 2 days after the fact.
Jul 15, 2015
Overall very nice. Restrooms might need a little more attn on a more frequent basis. Know its hard to keep up when you have that many people, but all the more reason to keep good PR. THANKS, Robert
Jul 15, 2015
Short but fine. Good people. Quiet location.
Jul 15, 2015
Nice enough facilities, but all the retired old farts running around in their golf carts watching and telling you to stop this or that. couldn't even get unhooked and was told to not block the street. We weren't even close. Nothing like the nice gals at Great a Falls KOA

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We only have one retired old fart in a golf cart whose job it is to escort campers to their sites and enforce rules that may negatively impact other campers. We are sorry for any inconvenience that may cause.
Jul 15, 2015
Sites are tight

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Camper had a Premium site with concrete patio, fire ring, swing and table. We do not understand why that would qualify as a tight site.
Jul 15, 2015
We stayed in a cabin the A.C. was a plus! The pool was great! Very well maintained over all! The only downfall was there was too many kids playing in the hot tub. Suggestion, make adult time or no one under 18.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

In the past we did have the hot-tubs set aside for adult use only. That policy proved highly unpopular with a great portion of our guest population. There is "adult only" time set aside the last hour of operation each day.
Jul 14, 2015
Nice stay but the room layout in kk2 was a little awkward and the floor was dirty upon arrival. A little crowded campground in general.
Jul 14, 2015
What a wonderful clean, well operated campground. Short drive to downtown, and other attractions nearby.Plenty of restaurants close by. First campground where the AM paper was delivered FREE to your door! 3 well placed Camp K9's with mowed grass & doggie poo bag stations. Cannot say enough about the staff and how hard they work to keep this park clean. Well worth the money.
Jul 14, 2015
This is the most crazy place I've been to. It's a city within a city. Many activities for the family to do. I can't wait to go back!
Jul 14, 2015
The cabin was just right for our family. We enjoyed all the activities especially the exotic animal show and appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities.
Jul 14, 2015
We had requested a deluxe pull through with concrete patio - L2, but were told it was occupied. Put in K2, which didn't work due to a telephone pole right in front of the awning. Moved to K1. We were given a $10.00 credit for the inconvenience. The sewer line was plugged, and the management called the roto-rooter to remove the roots. One of the best KOA's we have stayed in.
Jul 14, 2015
I understand that this is the busiest time of year, but it was so crowded & loud. Kids running through RV sites & streets. Riding bikes all through the camp sites. Dangerous! Big rigs can't see them. Adults in tent area across from me were louder than all 7 of their kids-screaming! Trash truck came Before 7 each morning! LOUD! Maybe off season is quieter? Staff Nice & helpful though!
Jul 14, 2015
Had a great stay here. Friendly staff and nice facility. Will be coming back.
Jul 14, 2015
convenient
Jul 14, 2015
Thanks for cleanliness and a fabulous view!
Jul 14, 2015
The staff at the KOA in Missoula are always really friendly. Usually they're Internet is top of the line, but this time it wasn't. The sites on the North side of the camp seem to have better reception than the south.
Jul 14, 2015
An In-city campground that has both the convenience of being close to everything, easy access to the interstate highway and the beauty of Montana. Courteous staff, clean facilities, large camp sites and the wonderful Montana people.
Jul 14, 2015
Great staff, clean bathrooms, nice grounds, great pool area.
Jul 14, 2015
Not enough shaded campsites. Not enough ambassadors to help in a very large area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There has to be a delicate balance of shaded and open sites. Some campers prefer shade, but many others want an open site for satellite access. We will always get someone to assist a guest when notified of a need.
Jul 14, 2015
You might look at you policy concerning extended stay at your campground. It was obvious that the camp next to us was not camping, but living at the site. Not what I wanted to do was camp next to a family of 10 at a camp ground.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have a one week limit for tent site stays. Camper gave us no notification of a problem while they were here or we would have addressed it immediately.
Jul 13, 2015
good. need to improve hot tub and wifi signal. thanks
Jul 13, 2015
Exactly what I needed for coming into town for the 1/2 marathon. See you next year!
Jul 13, 2015
We felt like the guys in the golf carts were watching us the whole tim . It made it feel very uncomfortable with them driving by so much. Ruined the "camping" experience. Dillon KOA was so much nicer and welcoming.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guest Assistants escort people to their sites and also have a presence in the park to assist guests and answer questions. There is not intent to watch people.
Jul 13, 2015
Nice place, easy to find and get around in the park. A little too big but I've cream and ranger presentation were nice touch.
Jul 13, 2015
very friendly staff and check in/out was fast
Jul 13, 2015
camping spots are too close together
Jul 13, 2015
Service was great when we arrived. Very quiet at night. Bathroom and Showers were some of the best I have seen in a KOA!
Jul 13, 2015
Awesome first time experience, very friendly and helpful folks.
Jul 13, 2015
didn't have a fire pit :( had to bring our own...

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Camper arrived without a reservation on a busy weekend. The site they received was the best available but did not have a fire pit. We could accommodate most requests with advanced reservation. Since camper brought a fire pit, not sure why that was an issue.
Jul 13, 2015
Quick stop for the nite. The staff was friendly, helpful, so nice! However, this KOA is next to a single wide trailer park, industrial area, ghetto. The grounds are shabby, shower house yuck, pool/spa yikes ! I'm unsure why people rate it so high?

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This park has been here for 48 years and the city has grown around us. Mobile homes do not necessarily mean bad people. Not sure what caused these comments but they are inconsistent with most campers views.
Jul 13, 2015
Staff forgot to give us the welcome information packet that contained breakfast menu, and TV line up. We did not get a guide to our space - I noticed many other RVs that came in after us got a guide to the space. The WiFi NEVER worked during our stay (even after contacting office). The spaces are very close together. Many people with camp fires - made the whole park very smoky.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our check-in time is 3 PM as indicated on the reservation confirmation. Our Guest Assistants who escort TV's to sites come on duty at that time. Camper arrived at 1:45. There were no other complaints of no internet access during the time of the stay. Sorry the welcome bag was overlooked.
