Crowded and noisy

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Missoula is the center of a very busy tourist area and camper was also here the week of the Western Montana Fair, so yes we are very busy.

Very nice facilities just not optimal location within the area

My only concern was that it didn't seem like there are enough bathrooms. We were fairly close to a bath houses but I had to wait for a great deal of time because there were only 2 toilet facilities and they were being used by people that were taking showers. Also the doors did not lock well. The one time I used the restroom to shower I tried to lock the door and it would only lock half way....

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The customer wasn't made aware of, or didn't note on the site map, that we have (4) complete sets of restrooms. The one mentioned is a new one we just opened and are still working the bugs out of. The next nearest restroom was 75 steps away.

The best KOA I have stayed at. Super nice staff, grounds are clean. Thanks for a great stay

Somewhat crowded but otherwise fine
Aug 14, 2016
lots of traffic to get to park besides that its a good park
Aug 14, 2016
The spot was very tight. Would use this Kia again in a bigger spot.
Aug 14, 2016
Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a little tight getting to the spots, but once in they were very roomy and had great views.

We were an overniter and were at the campground for around 14 hours. It's a urban campground, pull thru gravel level sites, nice refreshing pool. We liked the friendly staff, being able to walk to a restaurant and the morning breakfast buffet.

Very friendly, clean, great ameneties.

Lovely site

Best KPOA we have been in all summer.
Aug 13, 2016
Very nice park. Well maintained with nice amenities.

We planned this trip for a year and we were very disappointed with the location being right in town. Also having shabby houses right there in the park was a turn off.Not the Montana setting we were expecting. But the staff was very friendly. We just stayed away from the KOA until it was time to sleep.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our websites clearly state that we are located in town. It's unfortunate that the campers deprived themselves of the beautiful views of Lolo Peak & the Bitterroot Range in the other direction, along with our lovely flowers, friendly staff and activities.

It was a good stay nice people to deal with . Decent facilities.

Awesome staff awesome campground.. Hard to improve on. Only complaint is a few out of stock items in store but staff make up finding and loaning us the item we needed.
Aug 12, 2016
Park is very clean and nice. We really like it.
Aug 12, 2016
Great campground but a bit noisy for tent camping (planes, trains and automobiles throughout the night).
Aug 12, 2016
Loved the playground and doggy play areas. And the staff were super friendly!
Aug 12, 2016
We had a wonderful stay. The staff were courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The campground was clean and always looked so nice
Aug 12, 2016
The camp ground was in excellent shape and all employees encountered were extremely friendly. The bathroom closest to our sight was as nice as some hotel bathrooms. The only downfall would be the noise from trains and planes while trying to sleep.
Aug 12, 2016
very nice, very clean and every one very helpful. Also liked the "doggie bags" available. made clean up easy.

Great staff!

Nice park surprised me with where it is located and how quite it is
Aug 11, 2016
Friendly staff, spacious sites, pool and hot tub. Location is in the middle of a mobile home area.
Aug 11, 2016
Kabins were nice. Hot tub had a bit of an off smell to it. Location was odd (behind a TJ Maxx next to trailer park) but was very conveniently located waypoint driving across country. Very pleasant staff.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We don't know what the "off smell" is all about, nothing unusual was either noticed by the staff or reported by the many guests using them. We've been here for 49 years, so the city has slowly creeped around us. We do note that on our web-site.

We have been on a week long road trip looking at perspective colleges for our daughter. On our trip we have stayed at privately owned, national forest and other KOA's. This was the best by far!! Customer service is top notch!! The amenities were perfect! I would definitely come back and bring friends as I stated on my Face book page.

The only problems, are that the hot tub is not hot, and the heated pool is not even warm

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The hot-tubs are maintained at the mandated 104 degrees, and the pool is maintained at 81 degrees. On cooler days, as it was while the customer was staying here, they may seem cooler than usual.
Aug 11, 2016
We had a great time during our stay at the KOA. The cabins were cozy!!

I appreciate this KOA in the busy town of Missoula because: bathrooms are clean and very nicely stocked, wifi is good, pool is lovely, and dog areas are nice. It's a busy campground so it can get hectic and a bit noisy but it is well managed and rules are enforced. They do a very nice job. Only recommendation is to turn the heater up on the hot tub.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The hot tubs are at 104 degrees, which is the highest allowed by law in the State in Montana.

Big sites and really quiet
Aug 10, 2016
its a nice campground in the middle of the city...but you it doesn't seem that way except for the locks on all the washrooms and pools...thats kind of annoying but I understand why...lots of trees and clean
Aug 10, 2016
Have stayed here before. Love the park. Next time will not reserve row N, there is no shade or trees on this row.Great park if you have pups with you, we had 3-love the dog areas.Location is convenient to everything in Missoula.
Aug 10, 2016
I had a camp site that was quiet and close to the bathrooms. Staff was great. So is the ice cream.
Aug 10, 2016
Been coming here for 8 years...almost always a very good experience. What I don't understand is why the D row was downsized in the number of available sites. Essentially, giving customers a place to park the rig plus a co-place to park the car. Of course, they now come at a higher price. C'mon guys! You are turning away more paying customers and enriching the other 2 campgrounds.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We eliminated every other site in order to double the size of the yard, added 50A service, a fire-pit, extra parking, and underground sprinklers. This upgrade has been well received by all who recognize they now have more room and more amenities. Providing a "quality experience" is our goal here.

Pleasant stay. Second time there and will be back.
Aug 10, 2016
This was a first class camp. The grounds were beautiful, staff were friendly and fun, and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Aug 10, 2016
neighbors are close but not bad. very nice clean camp. we did not have sewer hook up so the price should have been lower.
Aug 09, 2016
very clean, felt secure and the staff was very friendly. I would go back anytime.

My husband and I love our yearly Missoula KOA trips with our grandchildren. So many memories have been formed. A swept mini golf course would be nice as well as some little windmills and other fun features on the 9 holes.
Aug 09, 2016
As usual the visit was pleasant and the people friendly. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived and most definitely will come there again.
Aug 09, 2016
This KOA is our favourite one. We really feel at home. The people are great, the facility is top rate..
Aug 09, 2016
It was great! Everything was clean, well maintained and the staff was friendly. The only downside was from a few campers with motorcycles coming back to their campsite start quiet hrs, but that's not fault of KOA. We'll definitely come back!
