Not a bad park in terms of amenities, but the staff has a cancerous employee. This nasty man raised his voice with my wife about moving the white painted rocks that they use to divide the sites. Long story but the nasty man went so far as to cover up the truth of the matter. This nasty man should not be in any position to interact with customers, but his wife is the front desk help. More.

There were amazing things about our AJ KOA stay, and some other not so good. Lovely pool, hot tub, clubhouse, but very expensive (kids 8$ extra pp even though we stay in our own RV?). our 50 amp plug was jammed. Asked for assistance, but attendant unable to find/correct the issue. Few Bthrms, quite far from our site and not always available when we needed. Some of the attndnts pretty unfriendly.

Great staff and nice facilities. Good jumping off point for tourist activities, shopping or just enjoying a day off in the campground.

Clean and quiet park with fairly large sites. Staff is very nice and helpful. Close to Superstition Mountains and several beautiful hiking trails. Will definitely stay here again.

We used this KOA for two days so my RV could be inspected and ready to be placed for sale.. this place was SO clean! A little jewel in the desert with gorgeous views and a super friendly staff. Everyone we met (staff and fellow campers) were so nice.. the bathrooms and showers (a little older) were very clean and well maintained and the office has a nice little snack and “essentials” selection

Quick service, quiet surroundings, bathroom facility close to tent site. Sink for washing dishes also close. Price is right, the space was large enough for our needs and had a picnic table, too. Gravel, no tent sand, but it worked out fine with a mat we put under the tent floor.

The campground was very well maintained and the staff was awesome. As we pulled in we realized that we had an issue with our LP tank and one of the staff members was very helpful in diagnosing the problem.

We are a family of five humans and six dogs. We stay at KOA all over the country because they are normally kid and dog friendly. This one was definitely not. The worst part of all of this is they had about 4-5 people on golf carts patrolling all day and night. They would drive around yelling at people if they stepped one foot out of line. They were like flies that didn't go away.

Nice wide well-maintained sites. Friendly helpful staff, clean restrooms. Wish you had another building with restrooms. Also Wi-Fi connection was non-existent at our site (#78).

The campground seemed kind of neglected. The Wi-Fi was sparse and not reliable at all, kept dropping and we had to reconnect. Water pressure in the showers was low.

Not as good as usual. Full hookups but bad electric post. Had no elec one night and used 20 amp one night (still had issues). Could not use sewer dump because it was on the wrong side (site#7). I asked for a partial refund and not received that or correspondence. My electric has, and is, working perfectly well since Outside that (I know upgrades are in process) the response by the staff was A+

It was a wonderful stay. People were nice, site was spacious, campground was quiet and felt safe. I would have rated it a 5 if the wifi was decent.

The tent spaces were right in the path of several trucks coming in and out during the night and parking right next to us to check in after hours, several dogs barking back and forth during the night. The men's bathroom is almost comical with the two urinals right next to each other and no divider. I'm skinny and would still be bumping shoulders with another guy at the urinal.

Apache Junction KOA was very clean and we enjoyed our four day stay during Ironman Arizona. Was able to fill my propane and do our laundry.

Always enjoy our stay. This is the 4th year we have stayed there. The only disappointment is we couldn’t make our reservations for next year and is going to have to wait until January to make them.

Loved our peaceful stay looking out at the Beautiful Superstition Mountains easy access to the park easy access to the freeway and other activities. This is a super clean park. Very attentive employees nice hot showers, sparkling pool. We will return soon. This is our new home away from home in Arizona!

There was no heating in the men bathroom. No paper roll to dry. Bathrooms need major cleaning and shower updates.

We were extremely disappointed to learn upon checkin that this KOA doesn’t have WIFI or cable! I thought there are higher standards than this to be eligible for KOA status. Other than those to show stoppers the site was large and level.

An acceptable gravel KOA on a main road. Stayed here mid-Jan 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #41. General: It's an acceptable option to see some local stuff. The area smells bad some days. Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful. Sites: Our site (#41) was very spacious and had LOTS of room behind it all the way to the retaining wall at the main road. Had daily trouble with folks site cutting with dogs off-leash, and most were repeatedly disrespectful when asked to use the campground road to access the area. Campground Road: Paved/gravel mix. Campground WiFi: Could not connect on any attempt for thee 14 nights. Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. But definitely needs updating. Bathrooms/Showers: Shower stalls in an open bathroom environment. Poorly light showers. Laundry: 6 washers (a couple did not work well) and 2 working dryers (1 was out of order). Pool: Did not use. Location: 3-5 min from gas and groceries. 20 min to Lost Dutchman, 45 to Casa Grande NM, 1hr 20min to Tonto. 25-35 min to Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. Near highway: Yes. Close to highway and highway noise if that bothers you. Near train: No. Cell: Verizon worked but the signal is deceiving. Spotty and caused issues with meetings cutting out. Could stream but with buffering. Cell: AT&T worked best and could work on vpn and uninterrupted Zoom calls. Could also stream movies.

We are full-time rv'ers. We often stay in KOA's for our short stays. This is an immaculate, well run park. No issues at all and the location is perfect for local sight seeing. The pulled pork sandwich at Papa Bears BBQ is a plus!
