Incredible customer service from check-in to check-out! Our site was amazing, bathrooms and showers were very clean and the staff were super helpful.

Water and sewer were spaced to far away, from each other. This required me to purchase longer water hose. The excessive traffic noise due to proximity of intersection.

It was a quick overnight so we didn't get to see it use much of the park; the restrooms were clean, the office/store was nice, people using the heated pool were having a good time. Debbie and Jackie were helpful and informative.

We enjoyed our stay. Well maintained sites. Friendly helpful staff. It is a bit noisier than most other KOAs we've stayed at because it is all gravel. The only other complaint that is more serious, is the shower facilities. My husband said they are very small and outdated. It was nearly impossible to set the water temperature. Gift shop a bit disappointing. It is a Journey KOA, more basic.

Grounds were great, employees very nice. The complaint would be it is very street noisy. Also, we were with friend with dogs. I feel the dog play area could be much larger. It is a dog friendly KOA, as I saw many campers with dogs. That’s great, if that’s one of your plus’s then make the play area better.

Nice grounds, enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Pretty clean, well maintained. Did not enjoy the price increase for the 3 kids....

Nice, well run campground in a very busy area. Managers were very helpful and accomodating. We'll stay there again next time we're in Phoenix area.

Lousy gravel square - no internet- family of 6 camped across from us in 2 adjacent tents plus tarp over their picnic table-we had 2 small backpacker tents- that’s it and we’re told to take one down on Easter Sunday- I had to sleep in the truck. Your website did NOT limit tents. All this for $50. Pet night. The worst I’ve ever experienced. And I will tell all my hiking groups!!!! Terrible.

The park was nice and the staff friendly. The road noise was loud were we stayed and the WIFI was terrible, bring your internet with you.

We have been misled about the KOA reputation. It is one of the worst campground we have experienced until now. When we called initially to book, we spoke with the owner and we asked specifically to be placed at a quiet pull through site away from the facilities. Upon arrival, while it is pourring rain, we discovered that she had given us a backup and right beside the major facility room....

We stopped here on our journey out to a destination wedding. We were pleasantly pleased with our stay. The site was clean and level. Hookups worked fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. Though we weren’t able to explore the activities/conveniences available, it looked very promising. We would recommend this KOA to anyone.

Tent/car stay was great! Visited museums.and Japanese garde. Also Roosevelt lake.nice warm showers, POOL, which i did not expect. Staff very helpful and attentive. I felt safe there.

Nice people, grounds upkeep was beautiful. Not enough receptive for dog waste, and the dog run could have been bigger, other than that It was fine. The pea gravel was kept raked and gets in your sandals. Great pool and tent camping available.

Stayed for 4 nights while attending my sons soccer tournament. Very clean site. Everyone was always very friendly. I will definitely visit again if in the area.

I was surprised how quiet it was at night considering the close proximity of the campsites. Comfortable and clean surroundings and friendly and helpful staff.

We have stayed here for the last 3 years. The park is well kept, the staff is courteous and helpful. We do our laundry off site as I hate to wait my turn. I give Apache Junction 5atar rating.

Staff was very friendly. But overall aesthetic of the campground was not very inviting. Just a large gravel parking lot…I’m not sure how tent site “P” is considered usable space. If camping in this area again, I would look to stay elsewhere.

I was very happy here … yes, there are always places to improve, but that would only be to make a great place even better. I wish they had effective plastic bottle recycling … the large blue recycling bin was just picked up as trash by the trash company (not KOA host’s fault). I wish there was better light INSIDE the shower itself. I wish there was a second restroom near the clubhouse.

We stayed for two nights while we attended the nearby Renaissance Festival. Our camper spot was very clean, the campground as a whole was very clean too. Our spot had plenty of room for our grandkids to play.

People friendly, park grounds clean. No Wi-Fi, cable or over the air service. Only one bathroom and it was temporarily closed for lock service. Won’t stay again until better amenities.

Mesa/Apache Junction KOA is clean, well kept, and easily accessible. The Staff was friendly and professional. Our stay overall was enjoyable and I recommend this KOA.

An acceptable gravel KOA on a main road. Stayed here mid-Jan 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #41. General: It's an acceptable option to see some local stuff. The area smells bad some days. Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful. Sites: Our site (#41) was very spacious and had LOTS of room behind it all the way to the retaining wall at the main road. Had daily trouble with folks site cutting with dogs off-leash, and most were repeatedly disrespectful when asked to use the campground road to access the area. Campground Road: Paved/gravel mix. Campground WiFi: Could not connect on any attempt for thee 14 nights. Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. But definitely needs updating. Bathrooms/Showers: Shower stalls in an open bathroom environment. Poorly light showers. Laundry: 6 washers (a couple did not work well) and 2 working dryers (1 was out of order). Pool: Did not use. Location: 3-5 min from gas and groceries. 20 min to Lost Dutchman, 45 to Casa Grande NM, 1hr 20min to Tonto. 25-35 min to Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. Near highway: Yes. Close to highway and highway noise if that bothers you. Near train: No. Cell: Verizon worked but the signal is deceiving. Spotty and caused issues with meetings cutting out. Could stream but with buffering. Cell: AT&T worked best and could work on vpn and uninterrupted Zoom calls. Could also stream movies.

We are full-time rv'ers. We often stay in KOA's for our short stays. This is an immaculate, well run park. No issues at all and the location is perfect for local sight seeing. The pulled pork sandwich at Papa Bears BBQ is a plus!
