Close to mesa az. Many activities in the general area. Friendly staff. Clean campsites.

The sites are spacious, the utilities easy to access. The laundry room was very clean. The staff very friendly. Due to construction, the sites along the perimeter were vacant which gave an open feel to the campground. The only negative is the dog park has no shade. A cover of some sort is necessary in the AZ sun. We‘d stay here again.

Everyone was so nice. The campground is well cared for. We stayed in a cabin and my only complaint is that the bed was very creaky and thin.

We've stayed here before for it's location to family. This time we noticed more plants and trees. The spaces are gravel and level. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Employees are friendly. We'll stay here again.

The staff is very helpful & friendly but their hands are tied when the campground shuts down half the sites without notice. We had reserved a premium site but when we arrived we were moved to a standard site without any notice because the premium site's electricity were shut off due to scheduled maintenance project. Office staff did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Friendly staff and clean grounds.

Over all our stay was good. Unfortunately there was construction going on and had our water shut off twice without warning. Luckily it was off only 10 to fifteen minutes. I rented the premium site however 100 + temps no trees and yard furniture made out of metal the table and chairs were unusable, during the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pull through was nearly perfectly level.

It was very quiet, peaceful, I felt very safe! I would highly recommend it to anyone, clean and a lot space , I know it’s off season but I really enjoyed my time there! I Will always stay at KOA Journeys I will recommend to my family and friends! Thank you so much KOA for being here for us when we want to be camping outdoors in nature! You staff is awesome and helpful!!

I only stayed one night. I was greeted (after hours) & shown to my camp site. The KOA is beautiful, nicely manicured & well taken care of. I was impressed with the employees & the facilities as a whole. While there I experienced an issue with my RV & was treated with compassion and respect by everyone there. This is a great place to visit & I will recommend it to anyone traveling in that area.

Great time like your location and staff !

Perfectly adequate. Good location. However - periods of no water both times we’ve stayed.

The office staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. We love the Landscaping of the sites also. We were escorted to our site and the gentleman was very helpful. We appreciate it the fact that the park was very quiet even though it was filled to capacity.

Site, restroom, showers, and pool were all very very clean and nice. Staff was nice and very helpful. Only concern was that there appeared to be several sites being utilized by what appeared to be local homeless people, one couple living out of their van and one family who appeared to be living in one of the cabins (no vehicle). This made us a little apprehensive and not totally safe feeling.

The property itself was beautiful as always, but the water pressure was so low it was difficult to shower or wash dishes.

Nice location off the highway, we only stayed one night. We wished there was some more sandy/grass like area for our dog besides the rocks as that was hard in the warmer weather for the dog specific area.

Excellent KOA campground! Nice big sites, no problem with water or electric. Staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful! It’s a little out of the way but freeways are close as is shopping and entertainment. I will stay here again!

The facilities were good but the staff was excellent, particularly the office staff. We had to change plans twice and they accommodated without issue and answered any questions we had about the process. Top-notch customer service.

Nice Clean and Quiet like most KOAs

I give it only 4 stars because the dog park is ridiculously small for such a large park. Also, only the large dryer works well. The two smaller ones just eat your money and don’t dry your clothes.

Wifi inefficace. Incapable s’ouvrir mes courriels. Difficile de faire un recherche

Friendly staff. Park well maintained—new construction/remodeling in process but was not distracting. We be back in the fall or spring.

Nice place, nice stay!

Poor to non existent wi-fi, pool was down, showers pathetic

The tent site offered no privacy, as it was very small and close to each other. A camper was running his car's engine and a staff came by and asked him to turn off the engine. The conversation quickly escalated to the staff's loud and hostile shouting; "I am the manager here! Don't say another word! If you don't like it, just get out of here!" The camper packed up and left.

When we checked in we did not have reservations. We needed a one night stay. The woman that checked us in said we were lucky because they had s space available. After 14 years of being a koa member , this was the first time we were told we were lucky. The next morning we noticed many empty sites. Why did she treat us this way?

Had many issues with power and water. Staff would turn my power off frequently when other guests would check out. Even after asking them not to. I had to throw away over $1000 worth of food over the course of months. Need a new washer and dryer facility badly. Beyond that it is a safe and decent place to be. A bit expense.

Very well maintained and easy pull-through sites. Staff is friendly and helpful. We we're in town for medical visits and the KOA office went out of their way to help us coordinate travel to and from. A real partnership.

Beautiful campground with many colorful desert plants in bloom. Level mostly wide sites. I did not care for the alternating pull thru direction and shared hookups. It creates some awkward moments. Other than that we enjoyed the stay.

If I could submit 0 I would. The management has disregard and disrespect for us as customers. The urinal overflowed onto my feet and the manager said it was my fault because I didn’t move out of the way. He got belligerent with me when I requested my last nights rent back and that I would leave. He stated “ I don’t issue refunds”!

Heather is the bright light of this park. Housekeeping very friendly. Wouldn’t recommend for more than a night or two.

An acceptable gravel KOA on a main road. Stayed here mid-Jan 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #41. General: It's an acceptable option to see some local stuff. The area smells bad some days. Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful. Sites: Our site (#41) was very spacious and had LOTS of room behind it all the way to the retaining wall at the main road. Had daily trouble with folks site cutting with dogs off-leash, and most were repeatedly disrespectful when asked to use the campground road to access the area. Campground Road: Paved/gravel mix. Campground WiFi: Could not connect on any attempt for thee 14 nights. Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. But definitely needs updating. Bathrooms/Showers: Shower stalls in an open bathroom environment. Poorly light showers. Laundry: 6 washers (a couple did not work well) and 2 working dryers (1 was out of order). Pool: Did not use. Location: 3-5 min from gas and groceries. 20 min to Lost Dutchman, 45 to Casa Grande NM, 1hr 20min to Tonto. 25-35 min to Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. Near highway: Yes. Close to highway and highway noise if that bothers you. Near train: No. Cell: Verizon worked but the signal is deceiving. Spotty and caused issues with meetings cutting out. Could stream but with buffering. Cell: AT&T worked best and could work on vpn and uninterrupted Zoom calls. Could also stream movies.

We are full-time rv'ers. We often stay in KOA's for our short stays. This is an immaculate, well run park. No issues at all and the location is perfect for local sight seeing. The pulled pork sandwich at Papa Bears BBQ is a plus!
