Whether an interstate stopover or weekend getaway, KOA creates a welcome respite in the wooded countryside an hour north of Pittsburgh. Eight golf courses lie within 20 minutes. Lots of lakes and streams lure water-sport/fishing enthusiasts. Drive or bike through the Amish farming countryside and shop for handmade furniture, crafts and food specialties. Haul up trout and bass from a 10-acre pond next to KOA. Hook lots of bargains at Grove City's outlets. Enjoy the campground's pool, game room, horseshoes, and free WiFi. This is a pet friendly campground, so you can bring the whole family. On Saturdays (memorial-labor day weekends), this KOA also offers Amish baked goods, wagon rides, plus other activities in season. Columbus Day Weekend is our Halloween weekend featuring our haunted wagon ride.

Wendell August Forge
One of the very few remaining forges in the country that continues to produce forged aluminum, pewter, bronze, and sterling silver articles entirely by hand, using no production machinery. Open Monday thru Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit Wendell August Forge online for more information. Currently due to a fire in 2010 the factory tours have been closed. The plan is for 2012 reopening.
Main Street Volant
Stories include Cards & Critters, Etc., Southwest Options, Walters Jewelers, The Cedar Chest Collection, G. Wiesen and Co., and much more. Open 361 days a year (closed New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). Shopping hours are Monday thru Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday Noon to 5 p.m. (some winter hours may apply).
New Wilmington - Amish Farms
The area in all has many Amish. We have an area drive yourself tour book ($5 deposit) featuring several Amish crafts and farms.
Kraynak’s Easter & Christmas Displays
Enjoy Kraynak’s Easter Bunny Lane including Easter trees decorated with silk flowers and miniature lights, accented by animated Easter bunnies, chicks and a host of other animated figures. The Easter display is Open February 15 through April 7 daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Easter Sunday. Also enjoy Kraynak’s Santa’s Christmasland including a Christmas fantasyland of traditional, religious and toyland themes. Over fifty decorated Christmas trees and animated figures for all ages to enjoy. The Christmas Display opens the day after Labor Day through December 24 daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Christmas Eve 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.

Convenient Location
We are conveniently located near interstate 79. Our campground is 1 hour north of Pittsburgh, 2 hours from Cleveland, less than 1 hour from Youngstown and 1 hour south of Erie.
Free Stocked Fishing Lake
Catch and release fishing lake - restocked with trout in early April. Bass (large and small mouth) - Trout - Crappie - Bill Gill and if you can catch them several carp we want out of there.

In the store we have basketballs, volleyballs, kickballs, soccer ball, bocce balls, horseshoes, sidewalk chalk, and other misc stuff available for sign out.
Wagon Ride
In Season Saturday night wagon ride. First Saturday in July and August we have a family favorite - Squirt gun wagon ride. The Saturday prior to Columbus Day we have a trail run of the Spooky Wagon ride in the woods. Columbus Day weekend is The "Campground Halloween Weekend" and the official Spooky wagon ride.
Living Treasures Animal Park
Touch and even feed pygmy goats, miniature and baby sheep, llamas and other little friends. Learn interesting facts about animals from Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia and North and South America. Open daily 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Moraine State Park - Butler, Pennsylvania
Moraine State Park features 3, 225-acre Lake Arthur, and outstanding warm water fishery that is also great for sailing and boating. Of special interest are the Frank Preston Conservation Area and a 7-mile paved bike trail that winds around the north shore of the lake.

McConnells Mill State Park, in Lawrence County, encompasses 2,546 acres of the spectacular Slippery Rock Creek Gorge. The park is open from sunrise to sunset, year-round.

Splash Lagoon
One-acre indoor water park resort featuring 5 water slides, 100+ family game arcade, Treasure Island Tropical Tanning Center, and Laguna Grill. The water temperature is 84 degrees year round and the air temperature is always 86 degrees. Open 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. on weekdays and until 10 p.m. on weekends.
Presque Isle State Park
The Presque Isle State Park is a year-round day-use park. There are 15 miles of trails for hiking and biking, swimming, boating, fishing and beautiful sandy beaches. It is open from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. before Memorial Day and 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
