Catch and Release Fishing
Our fish are ready for you to try and outwit them with your fishing skills. We require barbless hooks, though, so everyone can have the fun of fishing over and over again, (see store for all the details).
Jumping Pillow
What do you get when you cross a trampoline with a bounce castle? A Jumping Pillow! This is a safe activity that provides countless hours of exercise and entertainment for the young and the young at heart.
Kids Klub
Held on the weekends, kids do an activity; crafts, hike, various learning skills, and just have fun. Plus it gives the parents a little time alone!

Meet Your Hosts
"We want this to be a favorite place for you to visit!"
Sandi and Bob Aldrich, owners of the Madison/Shenandoah Hills, Virginia KOA, purchased this campground in 1999, when they decided to find something they could do together. It became a KOA Kampground at the end of 2008.
Why this campground? "Location, location, location!" says Sandi. "It's an ideal spot to stay to be close to all kinds of attractions, festivals, fairs, and activities that are all around us." At the campground, their new pavilion and jumping pillow are favorite spots.
The Aldrichs are committed to offering hospitality, with honesty, integrity and flexibility. " We want this to be a favorite place to come to." Whether enjoying a campground activity, the peace and quiet or an area event.
Before coming to Virginia, Bob drove a transport truck for a regional oil company and Sandra did billing and office work for a physician group and medical laboratory. Today, when they are not actively hosting kampground guests, they enjoy relaxing and camping themselves.
