Bathroom was dirty, only two showers open,floors filthy will not stay again

No return calls, no one in the office at 3:30 PM at check in, broken down showers and toilets, no toilet paper and when told staff the the restrooms needed attention they were indignant and made me feel I was the problem. I called manager about these problems and no return.

This KOA was not as tidy and up to date as others we have visited. It was acceptable, but not stellar.

When we arrived there was someone already in the site that was designated for us so we were given a site that was not nearly as nice. Since we only stayed overnight we did not complain but I was disappointed.

The woman at the front desk was very nice when we checked in. They had a great laundry room. I agree with a previous poster that the sites need more gravel. They were very muddy The only other issue was dog poop. When we got to our site there was a big pile of dog poop in the way of everything we needed to do. The campground itself was easy to get back and forth to the highway.

Staff is very courteous and good, but arrival during bad weather was tough - sites were muddy and need to be resurfaced with more gravel

The entrance is a bit tricky, but the campground is good. The area is gravel, and the spaces are level. Very good wifi. This was an overnight stay.

When we arrived it was a snow/rain mix outside. We asked to get propane tank filled; she said put it by the fill station and she will get maintenance to fill it. Took it up and was waiting..she pages him 2 times no answer. still waiting..he never came or answered. Told leave it. Meantime 2 others took tanks up too. Called after told; if it’s put there it will be filled! By next morning still emp

We are very sorry about your LP. I did not know Maintenance was not on grounds, gone for the eve.. He would have filled tanks in the morning if the tank was still there.

Very grateful the staff returned a late night call with a request for a same night booking. thank you! someone was parked (additional vehicle, not a camper) in our spot when we arrived, but we were able to find another empty spot to park in.

Second worse KOA we have stayed at. Small gravel sites. Not level

we are so sorry you could not level your camper. Those sites are asphalt and 65' long. They are our best sites.

The stay was fantastic. It was very quite in this KOA, the bath facilities were good and clean, and the Wi-Fi at the office allowed me to get some needed work done. I would definitely recommend this KOA to anyone passing through the area.

The site that was reserved for us was taken by another guest, which made it difficult for us to park. The campground should have ensured our site was available to us. Not impressed with the upkeep of the park.

The campground was very nice. Staff was courteous. I really liked the enclosed dog play area. Absolutely no complaints. I will be going back again.

Easy access from I70. Campground was very muddy and sites were torn up with heavier trailer tracks. No one can prevent the heavy rains but they need to put down a lot more gravel, no pavement. Sites are a little tight too. No sign of a Manager to ask about a different site. Not what we expected from a KOA even just for an overnight stay. And only 1 dumpster all the way up by the office.

We stayed for one night on a trip. there was no none around to check us in. Just maps with peoples names on them in a box. The campground was easy to get in and out of and appeared to be a nice place.

This was a wonderful campground. To start the pull through option and nice relatively level site were great to arrive to. The campground was clean and while close together the sites did not seem crowded nor on top of each other. The “balloon” bouncy thing was a great addition as well. We will definitely be back.

No issues really, but people flew by our camp site when they should be doing 5 mph. Very dusty because of this.

We got in about 1430, the office was closed. I found our registration in the night box. We were assigned site 6. We occupied the site and after set-up I discovered that the water valve had been replaced with a plug. No water. We were not informed of this and did not have a choice of sites. Luckly I had enough water on board to get thru the night. Disappointed that I paid $49.50 and no water.

so very sorry for the inconvenience. That water had froze and blew, and maintenance had repaired it and the checkin was not aware. So sorry we didn't get to move you.

Only stayed one night. Roads into and around the park were in need of repair. Having a dog park was great but not many were picking up after their dogs. The trash can we’re you put your poop was full so bags were falling onto the ground. I picked up poop from at least five other dog. It sad when you provide a nice area for dogs and the owners don’t pickup after them. Please keep the dog park!

It was very easy to get into and out of. Weather wasn’t great, so we weren’t able to check out the amenities, but we will be back.

Muddy uneven site and no one at the office, during the day, to tell you which site to go to. Hose bib, attached to electrical box, was leaking… hazard! Unsafe entrance, almost had a head on with a truck coming into campground. One of the worst campgrounds I’ve stayed at in the over 40 campgrounds during my trip across the country.

its a quiet time of year. We have a registration box on porch if the store is closed. The map was in there to guide you to your site. I apologize for any mud in the grassy area, snow keeps it wet. Our site is asphalt, so we know no mud there.

We stayed for one night. It has a lot of nice features for children and pets. The bad side is that a lot of the permanent people have junk all over their sight. Windblown carpets with junk strewn all over. Why can’t they keep this clean? Also several old, abandoned trailers. It all adds up to make it look junky.

Site was large and there was lots of room between us. My biggest issue is that we were far from the bathhouse and not well lit in the park at night. I had to use my cell phone flashlight to go take a shower. Most of the shower stalls and toilet stalls were closed which was weird. But there was hot water and that’s important. There was a nice pond for fishing so would like to come back for that.

SORRY you had to walk too far, we had water shut off many sites with freezing nights still. Its a very quiet time of year and so we close half the bathhouse.

A high wind and rainstorm rolled through the campsite on Monday afternoon destroying and or damaging three canopies and solar panel on my camper trailer. I filed a claim with Allstate and they are diligently working to resolve the claim for damages that exceeded $450.00. This was my first experience with a natural disaster. However, I truly enjoyed the accommodations at KOA Journey Campground.

There was no one to welcome us when we arrived at 2 pm. We were placed in a too small spot in the very front of the park where all the roads met. Our cable and water line did not work. No one answered the phone on three attempts. Park seems to be full of permanent campers. The car noise and headlights at all hours did not lend a relaxing 3 nights. The entrance also has a sharp turn in.

We arrived after hours, set up was easy. Everything worked great. The bathroom and showers were extremely clean.

Great RV camping experience. Was able to experience this Campground in early - mid-march when most campgrounds are closed. The campsites are well-maintained. Clean and large laundry area. Camp store stocked with the basics. Friendly and accommodating staff. Only negative was the pothole strewn driveway - needs some major upgrade.

Great find, some comments refer the site as being inclined but the inclines are not bad at all and very picturesque. Vey clean canpground!

We had a 2 nights stay with our 45' Motorcoach and tow. Quiet location. Easy off and onto I-70. Our site was pretty level as it is located on a slight slope. The grassy area on our site #7 was sufficient. It also had a slope down to our neighboring RV site. Packed gravel site, picnic table and fire ring. Road going into and out of the park itself are a bit rough. Waltz Road was fine. The only KOA sign was at the entrance to the campground. Staff was extremely friendly and their fire wood was excellent! Enjoyed our stay! Had dinner at Rodney's Restaurant in Irwin. Really Good Food and Service.
