The staff were very friendly and helpful. Campground was beautifully set up, nice trees and lake. Very easy to find. Clean bathrooms!

Unfornutately our stay left a lot to be desired. We have stayed in other KOA Campgrounds and had very happy experiences. I realize you folks are new at this but promises were made to us that did not happen and which made our stay a little less than desirable. I do hope you are able to make your upgrades so others are not unhappy.

Confused by the comments, as we do not make special promises. Some items for inclusion: a) we had to come to the campsite to request payment for a second family (4 people)/campsite that stayed 2 nights b) we were very cordial and accommodating throughout your entire stay.

Beautiful, quiet, wooded location for seeing Poplar Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway and other James River sights. Great Kabin, cute goats and ducks, a really nice stay.

Awesome! Wish we had more time to explore the area.

Thank-you! Maybe we'll see you again when you have more time for exploring!

We had a great time. Plenty to do for the kids, very clean and the owners were very nice and even checked on us to make sure everything was okay and that we stayed warm. Very likely to stay with them again this summer. Loved it.

Thank-you! Hopefully we'll see you again soon!

Overall, a very good experience. Hosts were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The one room cabin we stayed in was roomy, warm and clean. The only thing lacking in the cabin was a clothes rod or hooks on the wall to hang coats and/or hangers of clothes. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, but would have been nice to have an enclosed, private space to dress out of the shower.

Thank-you! We are working on improving our restrooms and adding the finishing touches to our cabins. Thanks for the feedback!

We stayed in a cabin for a week with our two kids and dog, for spring break coming from florida. Unfortunately it snowed and was freezing outside but the cabin was warm and the campground was great. Real Hot water in a nice shower was a huge plus We did not expect from a campground. The kids loved the playground and the games they had available to play and The location was perfect.

Thank-you! That much snow was a SURPRISE! Fun to play in though :) Your puppy was too cute!

Mattress was somewhat thin, I had to double up to get comfortable. Heater worked great, very comfortable, relaxing and friendly.

Agreed! Mattresses need to GO!!! So we have replaced all the mattresses with high quality much thicker ones. Thanks for the feedback!
