When you camp at our KOA you have a wide choice of daily activities to keep you busy, unless you just want to relax (and you can do that, too). Since we are situated in a valley between two gorgeous mountain ranges, our campers can spend days exploring the trails and roads of those mountains by car or bicycle. Others spend time on the Shenandoah River, canoeing, fishing and hiking. Of course, one must-see here are the Luray Caverns, an underground wonderland of stalagmites, stalactites and subterranean waterways. That's truly a bucket-list item. Our in-park activities include weekend billiards tournaments. Just enough activities to make you welcome the cool quiet nights under the starry skies of the Shenandoah Valley.
MudKat Outfitters take a ride canoeing, tubing, and kayaking on the Shenandoah river. They are now offering special discounted rate with the Luray KOA. Call and reserve your river adventure at (540) 843-0919. Included shuttle service from KOA office to river and back. Don't miss out fun for the whole family.
