Local Area Activities
When you camp at our KOA you have a wide choice of daily activities to keep you busy, unless you just want to relax (and you can do that, too). Since we are situated in a valley between two gorgeous mountain ranges, our campers can spend days exploring the trails and roads of those mountains by car or bicycle. Others spend time on the Shenandoah River, canoeing, fishing and hiking. Of course, one must-see here are the Luray Caverns, an underground wonderland of stalagmites, stalactites and subterranean waterways. That's truly a bucket-list item. Our in-park activities include weekend billiards tournaments, with crepe breakfasts and wood-fired pizza dinners, all served in our pavillion. We also have movie nights in our large yurt and sing-along nights in the open-air sundeck. Just enough activities to make you welcome the cool quiet nights under the starry skies of the Shenandoah Valley.
